I think I like the 156 better for your weight and height. The 158 will work too and it's better for your boot size but it might feel like a little too much board for your weight and to a lesser extent your height.
157w is pretty wide for 10.5's. I would go 158 and it should be good if you have reduced footprint boots. If you don't but you don't carve super hard the 158 will be fine too. If you carve really hard and don't ride too duck I might consider a different model that is a little wider.
Not much. Just some slight tweaks under the hood. The 2023 is almost the same as the 2022 except it has different impact plates. If you can find a deal on a past model go for it.
I could name a few off the top of my head like the Yes Basic Uninc, Ride Shadowban, Ride Algorhythm, NS Protosynthesis and Lib Tech Box Knife but it would be easier and better for you to: 1. go to thegoodride.com/snowboard-reviews/?mens=1. 2. Filter by Mountain Freestyle 3. Then filter by turn initiation "Medium/Fast" and "Fast" so you could get the whole list of boards. I have reviewed a shit ton of boards so the list is long.
Very different ride. Not much set back on board and the camber profile is very different with lifted sides almost throughout the effective edge. Very different feel. I had a great time on the Goliath but it is more of a centered very forgiving mountain freestyle ride. If you want a board you can set back like the National, Mountain Twin and Mercury in powder don't get the Goliath. If you don't plan to set it back the Goliath could work if it appeals to you.
@@thegoodridesnow Thank you very much for the response! It's hard to find info on the differences but that sums it up for me very well. Love your videos, keep up the great work!
In your opinion, which is more forgiving, the National or a Standard Uninc?
Both are pretty close.
How do you compare this one with Rome stale crewzer, in terms of carving, switch and more forgiving?
Stale Carves better, National is more forgiving and rides switch a little better. Stale feels a touch more turny.
I am 5.8 foot at 165 pounds - boot size US10 - do you think I'm good with a 58?

I'm 6 foot 180. Thoughts on a 157W

is there any diference between '21 '22 '23 rome national or is it only in the graphic?

@@thegoodridesnow ok thanks a lot
Can you name some all-mountain freestyle twins that would be quicker edge to edge?

Thanks!
How does the Bataleon Goliath stack up against the 3 of these boards?
