Bob Daisley is a cool humble guy that is extremely talented! For many years, I could not understand why every Ozzy solo album after No More Tears were nowhere close to how amazing the first six albums were. I found out a few years ago that Bob Daisley was only involved with the first six albums, and then it made total sense. Thanks to this interview, I am definitely getting Bob Daisley's book.

Bob was essentially Ozzy’s Musical Director and all the great stuff was done under Bob.

Nice interview, as usual. Bob is a real down-to-earth and nice gentleman. Of course I've purchased that 'The Eternal Idol' reissue Jimmy showed as well, absolute must - have for BS fans.

Sharon as well as Ozzy, but especially Sharon has heisted this gentleman as well as Jack E Lee badly--- criminally, IMO. I love Ozzy's brand of music, but to work with him and especially Sharon, hell to the nooooo, ha. Great interviewing my friend

That Ozzy Motley Crue Tour would have really been something to see.

    Very True. Mick is awesome

Saw it at MSG. Excellent show. Tommy Lee and the spinning drums got the biggest reaction from the crowd though.

I heard some of the Vai/Ozzy work many years ago, and it was great. Ozzy was using Sabbath phrasing. In simple terms, it wasn't funded and released because the executives in charge felt it would confuse the public.

Great interview. I always love hearing Bob Daisley interviews. The guy has had an incredible career But when he started talking about the psychic stuff, I had to shake my head and roll my eyes. He talked about how he believed a place was haunted....how he believed in Ouiji boards and séances,....I couldn't believe it. For someone as successful and brilliant, musically as him, I would not have expected such revelations. I guess his rationale and critical thinking skills aren't as developed as his songwriting skills.
..I felt the same feeling of disappointment that I did many years ago when I learned that the extraordinary bassist, Billy Sheehan, was a Scientologist.

I agree with his assessment of Iommi . There are more killer riffs in Sleeping Village/The Warning/ Bit of Finger than most bands have in entire careers. And that's not even an exaggeration. I didn't care too much for 13 as an album but it's full of great riffs ,if not great songs. He's still got the magic

There are some similarities between Lee's and Ozzy's versions of "Flying High", but do not get carried away. If you want to understand Ozzy's ability to write catchy and emotional vocal melodies, you should compare Dave Walker's version of "Junior's Eyes" to the final Ozzy-version.

Hey guys, what part of Canada are you guys from? As a fellow Canadian (Halifax, NS..via outskirt of Moncton, NB), I immediately picked up on your Canadian 'accents'. hehe. Keep up the great work. You guys always have great interviews and put out great content. Thanks for keeping the greatest period of rock alive.

One must remember that the Osbournes purchased all the rights to Randy Rhoads from his mother. So we will always see Randy next to Ozzy in future products.

These interviewers are not good. Bob will tell an interesting story or make a good point and the interviewers respond with
' Sure Yea uh huh right '..
it's as if they are thinking of the next question rather than listening to what Bob is saying. Also the guy on the right is preoccupied with the idea of Bob not getting proper credit for his work with Ozzy and seems intent on getting some kind of negative reaction out of Bob. It's pretty obvious he doesn't want to dwell on it but it keeps being brought up. Honestly it's a tired subject and far less interesting to fans than stories about the making of the music and the personalities involved, which is what Bob prefers to talk about.
