The Bible vs. Ellen G. White: The Funeral Service of A False Prophet!

- For decades, the Seventh-Day Adventist Church has defended Ellen G. White against any sort of criticism-labeling anyone who critically examines her statements as being bitter, angry, confused, and taking her out of context. But is this the case?
Ellen White claimed to be shown by God-on numerous occasions-the day and hour of Jesus Christ's return, that the door of mercy was shut to the whole world and salvation was no longer possible outside of their small flock, that her words are equal with scripture, and a whole host of other all-or-nothing claims. We will look at her claims to her status as the "Lord's Messenger", a number of her failed prophecies, and a number of errors and bible contradictions she made.
We do so by examining over 70+ of her statements and show beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Adventist Church is not being forthright. To use her own words: "God and Satan never work in copartnership. The testimonies either bear the signet of God or that of Satan" and "whatever contradicts God's Word, we can be sure proceeds from Satan".

Let me be honest here, I am an SDA and I am SAD. I realize if someone had made claims against the Bible refuting its authenticity, I would have been less hurt, annoyed & disappointed, than I am over Ellen White. My God forgive us who have blindly followed our parents, and our parents, their leaders! I am still a lot confused, but I am listening with an open mind. I am nauseated. Thank you for at least making me aware that I have not studied to show myself approved into God.

Brother, come to the word of God with the humbleness and openness of a child... God the holy Spirit will illuminate His truths... And then, you won't be able to put the Bible down...get a formal equivalent, read it all the way through, books at a time or anytime spent in the Word... God's work will not return in vain! Fill the void from leaving with the Truth aka Bible! Allow stages of grief to occur from leaving...as it was part of identity...
I was a SDA for 38 years, and I left because of E.G.White. Over a nine year period I read almost every word she wrote, and the more I read the further away I got. Just cling to the Bible and you will be safe.
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience reading her writings. Since you say you read almost every word she wrote did reading Steps to Christ, Desire of Ages, Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing and Christ Object Lessons drive you farther away from Christ? Did you read where she wrote that if people would study the Bible as they should there would be no need for her messages? Did you not read all the places where she tried pointing people to the Bible? I think she would absolutely agree with you that if we would cling to the Bible we would be safe. Unfortunately most people don't do that.

I read DESIRE OF AGES and to my surprise the more I read this book

Hello there, first time here. Good stuff. I was a SDA for 45 years, what a wast time for my spiritual growth. In my first three years out from it, I learned more than 45 years there. Let be positive... better late than never. Today I am still fighting with myself about trust and have faith in Jesus 100%. The wounds are deep but my Father is bigger and stronger than her lies. Glory to Jesus only.

If the Sabbath was such an important part of the plan of salvation, why would God wait 1800 years to reveal it to some random woman from a failed religious movement in a tiny corner of America? Why not reveal it to or teach it to, oh, I don't know, the Apostles?
The Sabbath was introduced to the Seventh-day Adventist Church by a Baptist. Furthermore, Seventh-day Sabbath keeping has been around even from the time of the apostles. The problem Sabbath keeping faces is not that God hasn't revealed, but humans have suppressed the knowledge and practice of it through the centuries for ideological and practical reasons.

Myles; Thank you brother. This is very eye opening to me. I started to realize I was not being spiritually fed at my old Adventist church. Although EGW says if you lose confidence in “her” testimonies, you drift from the Bible, I found the opposite. As I was questioning I read the Bible more, and the more I read, the more I am convicted by the Holy Spirit that this woman is not standing in Biblical truth nor are her writings equal to the Bible.
I’m 3rd generation Adventist, my grandpa was an Adventist Reform Movement pastor (of a Spanish sect) and so you can imagine the deep programming my whole family is under. Most of us younger generation have either turned away from God completely, or realize EGW is not it. I ran away and rejected God for 20 years because I thought he was some tyrannical dictator bent on condemning us for not following a million rules. When I say strict, I mean, women could not wear pants, jewelry, makeup or cut our hair short. Looking back it makes sense I naturally rebelled against that because it’s nonsense. I know God loves me and Jesus is my savior. I can’t save myself and EGW rules are man made.
We found a Spirit filled, Biblical non denominational church yesterday; it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I cried in public. Because my heart was being convicted that I was hearing the real Gospel. The True Gospel. I prayed with a woman I just met there and she said we are sisters in Christ, and I spilled it all out to her and she knew exactly what I was saying. God truly led us there- it was at a random suggestion of a waitress that led us to visit the church. The powerful words of the Bible really shot an arrow to my gut…. The preacher said church is not a building, it’s the people of God for we are the temple of the Holy Spirit and God is with us wherever we are gathered. I know this is Biblical. I have never heard an Adventist say this, they usually bash other denominations and are self righteous to claim they are the true “remnant church”. Well I’m sick of it and I’m walking away and never looking back.
Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. NO ONE goes to the Father except through HIM. Thank you Jesus!

Oh my...in the early 70s, I heard the same reason for Jesus' delaying his return in that the church wasn't working hard enough to win souls for the kingdom...the church had a divide between those who said that the leadership of the church had to be removed as they weren't following the mandates of Ellen White.... I'm now 64 and can clearly see the how manipulative the SDA church has been.

She said: "We may disguise poison by mingling it withwholesome food, but we do not change its nature. On the contrary, it is rendered more dangerous, as it is more likely to be taken unawares. I left the SDA Church a few months ago after reading The Great Controversy in part. Happy to find this video seems like The Lord is justifying me again. Thank you Lord Jesus for the msg of brother Myles Christian.

it's always funny to me that, when the bible says that, there shall be false prophets, and that even the elite would be deceived. But somehow, the adventits are immune from being deceived, but other people and religions are not immune.

I really appreciate what you're doing, Myles! I have become an enemy in the eyes of my Adventist brothers and sisters because I was exposing the error in her writings. The more I read my Bible, the more clear it became this woman's writings were authored by Satan, like you said. I couldn't figure out why I was the only one actually comparing her stuff with the Word. People really are blinded by her deceptive writings. I have been finding so much falsehoods its just ridiculous at this point. So glad you are taking this false prophet down. I stopped going to church a month ago. I had to stop affiliating with adventist altogether. I reject Ellen, so now I reject adventism obviously. And I was the trouble maker for saying women aren't suppose to usurp authority over the men. Of course my interpretation was the problem they say, lol. Even though Paul clearly states it is a command of God. But of course they try to explain it away as Satan trying to destroy the remnant church. Or Paul was only saying this to these specific people at the time because the women were acting out. They can twist and explain anything away if you let them. They think they have everything figured out. Ellen G White is Spritualism, Mysticism, Doctrine of Demons. The same thing she claims to warn people against she was engaged in. I applaud you, Caleb! I've never been in Adventism but I felt guilty once when an SDA friend told me that even if I keep all the other Commandments, and didn't keep the Sabbath, I'm guilty of breaking all the other Commandments - so I started reading the Bible and understood what being in Christ was all about and I've been free ever since; no guilt feelings.
Not only does EGW writings contradict the Bible, but she has gone as far as altering Scriptures. She has also manipulated and distorted the Word of God to fit her Doctrines. Her work being "authored by Satan" is a good way to put it because I have noted that wherever she got her inspiration, it certainly wasn't from God. Thank God, you were able to disentangle yourself from her web by seeking the truth for yourself, in God's Word - the Holy Bible! Peace and Blessings 🙏🏾

I understand that Mrs. Ellen G. White is not here on earth to explain herself nor correct herself. I'm an SDA Christian, but recently, I don't really think she is a prophet. Personally,there's something that I'm really missing in my Christian Journey, it's the feeling alone that because of Christ I was free from my sin. There's something so heavy with Ellen White's issues.I pray SDA church will just focus on gospel, the Bible alone, and not mixed Mrs. Ellen G. White writings. Because Bible is enough to point us to the Lord. I'm still in my search for answers.

Yes, because when examined to straight glory, aka Ortho doxy, sda is not Christian 😢...examine issues of trinity, Michael is jesus, salvivic Sabbath, vegetarianism as gospel, so many errors in eschatology, sola fidae, Solus Christos, sola scriptura...etc ...but check mostly...sda justification...it is faith plus sanctification equals justification, ...the precious pearl is the free gift of imputation, within justification...then even faith and repentance and sanctification are gifts of the holy Spirit working in you aka indwelling ! You are worth Jesuss propitiation atonement and expitiation on the cross! He had your exact name in mind, on the cross! These doctrines will sound new perhaps, as sda doctrines avoid these Ortho terms!

How's your journey going? I'm SDA convert from Catholicism. I have no doubt that EGW was inspired by God. There are people in every church/denomination who are missing something in their Christian journey. It's not like you have to leave the SDA church in other to find that missing something. Adventists like Desmond Doss weren't missing out on some great blessing. Mr Doss didn't have to be SDA in order to be a great man of God, but there's no way he could have been a great man of God without a true relationship with God/Jesus. Peace and blessings 🕊️

BEFORE Galatians 2:20(Rom 12:1) 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 since you are a beginner(a child-1John 2:1 Rom 14:1) you have to confess sins to God through the only one Mediator Jesus the Christ(1Tim 2:5).
And you have to confess sins also to the one which was insulted through your sin(James 5:16 Matt 5:24) because what you sinned against any person can be forgiven by God ONLY AFTER you confessed AT FIRST to the person against whom you have sinned in real or in secret.
What we sinned ONLY against God we confess ONLY to God because our sins against God can be forgiven ONLY through the system of SIN TRANSFERRING installed in all three parts of God’s plan of salvation revealed to us inside the Sanctuary about TRANSFERRING our sin over Jesus as Sanctuary(John 2:21) being the Christ(John 1:29,36 Colos 2:2 Rev 21:23).
But having as fundament this only one forgiveness through SIN TRANSFERRING over the crucified Lamb, God has installed ALSO AMONG US a system of sins forgiveness AFTER confessing our sins to each other’s(James 5:16 John 20:23 Matt 6:12).
Because as God He was able to know that the mostly sinners will to live forever in sin when we’re possible to confess their secret sins ONLY to God and not AT FIRST to the one which was hurt, insulted and lied through the secret sin.
That was the most necessary to know about you as sinner BEFORE Galatians 2:20(Rom 12:1) 1John 3:9 1John 5:18).

In my young Christian walk I was a bit skeptical of Ellen White, though over the years listening to sermons and seeing quotes from her books used in various lessons. I was blown away by how insightful they were, they shared light on various topics in the Bible we tend to gloss over and have us really meditating on the word, every chapter, every verse.
Since then I've had a difference of opinion on her and her books, mind you I haven't read all of them but I intend to read more, one thing that's synonymous with her books is she doesn't exalt herself, she always exalts Jesus, the Father, the Spirit. She also quotes scripture, her books tend to have us examining ourselves and looking to Jesus, spending more time with him and appreciating his word.
After reading two of her books I was like Isaiah in chapter 6 saying "Woe is me, for I am undone!" I realized just how un-christlike and selfish I was, then I went to God in prayer asking him to forgive me for my sins and to give me a new heart, to remove this heart of stone within me and give me a heart of flesh, one softer than a marshmallow, one receptive to his word.
See the job of a prophet is not to speak their words but God's and to uplift God and we're suppose to test the spirits whether they be of God. We need to examine her books and God's word for ourselves and see if there are any major doctrinal differences.
If after reading any of her books we're not drawn into a closer relationship with God we can stop, but if after reading her books we get a deeper appreciation for God, for Jesus, his love, his sacrifice, we keep reading and we keep reading God's word, the greater light.
Plus a prophet's job isn't to lift themselves us but to lift up God, to lift up Jesus, like John the Baptiste said "He must increase, but I must decrease."
And with that said I'd like to share three of her books with you or anyone on here, these have been such a blessing for me, two of which I've read and the third I've gotta continue reading, they are "Steps to Christ", "The Desire of Ages" and "Christ’s Object Lessons"
"Steps to Christ" is amazing, if you feel like there's distance between you and God give it a read and I guaranty you'll be seeking his presence, spending more time in his word, “Christ's Object Lesson” it's powerful, it covers the parables of Jesus, I was amazed by how much heavenly knowledge is found in the parables, Jesus is amazing and the greatest teacher, he gave such in-depth heavenly knowledge in the simplest of things. "The Desire of Ages" covers the life of Jesus took a bit of a break from it since things got a little hectic though I've gotta get back to it. From what I've read thus far it's made me fall in love with Jesus a lot more.
That's the amazing thing about her books it gives you a hunger for the word, a hunger for righteousness and a yearning to get into a deeper relationship with Jesus, to be more like him, to love others like him, it convicts and comforts and helps us have that personal reformation and revival. These are the characteristics of a prophetic message; a prophet won’t only tell you your problem, but the solution and the solution to all our problems is Jesus.
Your proselytizing on the wrong platform, man. I know you guys love to show up and wax poetic about her in hopes others see it and are drawn in, but it’s futile.
I’ve read all of the books you’ve mentioned and then some. Thousands of pages. It’s fascinating how Adventists think the solution is reading her more. As if it changes anything that was shown here.
You didn’t address any of the problems, you just claimed you love her writings and they make you feel a certain way. You sound like a Muslim and Mormons. They say this same thing about their “prophets.” They read them and “feel” something that draws them closer to their “god.”

Well said! I have found the same. The SOP reveals an exalted view of Jesus Christ that I opened my eyes to see Him as He is. He is likewise revealed in Scripture but I needed it shown to me more plainly before I could see Him in Scripture. Peace and blessings 🕊️

Many of them claim her Writings are God's word. They'll couch it this way. She's God's prophet and her writings are as inspired as the Apostle Paul's.
I was dating this adventist girl and I found out about some of the weird teachings of the adventist church. When I found out about them I prayed to God and asked him to take her out of the church and I also asked him to remove me from the relationship if she wouldn't leave. 2 days later we ended up breaking up its been 4 months now and i've learned a lot about the adventist church and I thank God that we broke up. I still want to show her the way but I want to do it in an uninterested way.

Wow she told people to sell houses and lands in the late 1840s. Based on her writings at the time, SHE herself taught the time of trouble was nigh at hand. I noticed how she continued to ACQUIRE, not just a humble abode to live in, but MANSIONS, and estates to house dozens.
Yep. She told people to live frugally while she lived indulgently. She told people to deprive themselves of food while she was a glutton. Many times she called good bad and called bad good. Her warped ideas about sex and the human body certainly caused damage through the generations.

The devil hates Ellen White and wants everyone to do so. just 5 minutes into your presentation I can see the devil at work. Surely you need to read some of her books on how to love and not tear down others. The sarcasm and mockery was unnecessary, and certainly not of God. I have not read all her books, But I’ve not come across one that has caused me to distrust God’s word. They have only helped me in my walk with God. And if someone has helped me to love God more and want to spend time with Him, why would I not want to read their writings? The Bible can do all that for us, but we need the encouragement of others to help us on our journey, just the same way we go to church to get encouragement from others. Her books have been and continue to be a blessing to many. Many marriages have been restored by the reading the Adventist Home, and other books on marriage and the family, many persons have become closer to God by reading Great Controversy, Desire of Ages, not to mention Steps to Christ, many have been better parents from reading her book Counsels to Parents. many young people have been spared from the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol and illicit practices from reading her book Messages to Young People. Many, including myself was empowered and inspired by her books to pursue higher education, after years of being a pessimist and not believing in myself, after being a high school drop out, decided to go back to school in my late 30s, now I have a first degree in secondary education, with the intention to go as far as the Lord’s will shall take me. She has books that teaches about how to manage your money, how to treat your spouse, how to treat your neighbor, your animals, your bosses, etc. why would I despise someone who has helped so many? No one should elevate her words above the scriptures, which she often advises, but they have their purpose. If you don’t read her books, you won’t be lost but surely if you read them they can help you to get to heaven. It’s sad that many Adventist have over the years elevated her words above scripture, ignorantly. However, they have their purpose. God bless you,

It is also very helpful for many of us to clear away the life time accumilation of cob webs in our thinking. Between the mental/spiritual gymnastics of making sense out of false teachings and the deep cognitive dissonance it produces over years, it can be necessary to hear and see these things laid out in a direct, straight forward, & plain manner. Being taught & shown WHY it is false gives teeth to the tearing down of false teaching & paradigms. Plus, I found the humor brilliant! Loved the opening music and write up for EGW's funeral, your most respectful formal attire for such a momentous occasion, and the shedding of a tear or two - brilliant! I chanced on videos religion cults and I got to understand why Adventist believe what they do . I yearn to worship in a church where Jesus is magnified. In Isaiah 14, it is seen that the light bearer desired to be like the most High, who John alluding to Isaiah 6 states that it is Jesus. Ezekiel 28, speaking of the king of Tyre who is a an Annointed cherub, states that, he was perfect till his heart was lifted up. The Annointed cherub, when looking at the ark of the covenant shows that Annointed cherubs that covers stand next to God. Considering all of this it is clear that the Bible teaches that Lucifer was the closest angel to God.

So much hatered for a community that is leading hundreds of thousands of people to Jesus Christ all around the world. I have been blessed to witness this first hand. I have seen the good fruits produced by the SDA church. May God forgive those who speak out against those who do his work, I could just have easily been one of them when I abandoned God in my youth, but like so many others I found my way back after seeing my life fall apart. I see the good in observing the Sabbath too. As a child I didn't realize how much I would miss the fellowship, the after service potlucks, invites and nature walks, the summer camps and just being around good people in general. Again, a sign if good fruit. The SDA church has more fellowship in their church than most other denominations I've attended. I am convinced a big part of this is because we observe the Sabbath as a day of rest. They promote a healthy lifestyle and I honestly have nothing but good things to say about them. It truly breaks my heart to see all these videos and comments from people who had a different experience than I did. May God bless the SDA church and all denominations who lead people to Christ. Amen

When I joined Adventist church along time ago. I disagreed with them about the Sabbath being the mark of the beast. If you study Deuteronomy five and six and compare it to Revelation talks about the hand and forehead- you'll see that the mark of the beast is Not obeying the 10 commandments in general. not being obedient to G-d and his Son Christ. Breaking any of the 10 Commandments willingly will get you marked. Not just the fourth command. Reality sin and disobedience is the marking factor. there's nothing in the Bible that says Sabbath keeping is the seal or that Sunday is the mark of the beast.
you can keep the fourth commandment , and continually break any of the other nine and you'll still get marked. Most Adventists don't even follow the 10 Commandments since they break the one about idols- their churches and homes are filled with crosses, Christmas trees, Easter bunnies etc. all the SDA churches I've been to (many of them in my area) along with the general conference camp in the summer- such idols everywhere. they are in vain of the commandments themselves and it's complete hypocrisy on their part.
but as a reminder, only christ and his father thru the Holy Spirit can help keep you on the right track through their will, and will make following the commandments not burdensome thru their grace, mercy, and will. not by your own efforts.

Look at Linage! They show beautiful images of the founders in bronze statues! Yet condem the Catholic Church for their statues. Isn't that being too faced?? As a decendent of the founders of the Àdventist church I had to leave because of their greed for money and mind control! I want to clarify my experience in Christianity I used be Sunday going church member I was never satisfied in the word of God. After taking baptism I started sinning more and more. When I came across SDA church I felt I m in safe hands of God. I never read Ellen white writing. But one thing I m sure SDA church has the truth with all my fall ups and downs. I have been so many denominations in my life only SDA church I felt the truth.
Keep the faith brother. You will know them by their fruits!!!. Even the Jesuit and Ex-Satan Worshipper have testified that SDA is the only true church and the only church that has a true prophet.

In the scripture Hebrews 4:12 God's word is described as alive. In the Review and Herald ( Nov 1878) Ellen White said that her publications should be scattered like the leaves of autumn. Scattered autumn leaves are dead. Ellen White's writings are dead.

The doublespeak on white’s writings not being equal to scripture, except they are necessary to understand scripture and are of the same inspiration as scripture, is one of the most head-scratching, frustrating things about talking to SDA followers. I left the SDA church in the 80’s. I had been very devout. They would have you think people only leave because they want to sin, but I just didn’t believe what I’d been taught anymore. The SDA view of divine inspiration is very convoluted and inconsistent. The teachings of Ellen White were a source of much unnecessary misery for me. The Adventist view of salvation does not bring peace. I’ve watched several of your videos now. You are hitting the nail on the head over so many issues I had with church doctrine! My husband and I have been very weary and doubtful of her for so long now, since we started going to an SDA church. And now we know for sure she is a false prophet, just like we believed. But that doesnt mean we are going to throw out the seventh day sabbath, which is saturday. Its not her law, it is Gods. The fourth commandment, was kept by Jesus and the apostles, so please before you doubt read Hebrews chapter 4. If you love God, you will keep his commandments.

To understand Heb 4:1-11, you need to start from Heb 3. The writer is talking about the TRUE SABBATH rest, which all those that come to God through faith in Christ comes to rest. In fact, the rest is open to anyone who professes faith in christ. Whilst we face trials, temptations, afflictions etc, as Christians, we need to remain faithful until we reach our heavenly canaan, where we will experience true rest (Sabbath rest for the peopleof God who believe). We need to keep believing, unlike the Israelites who could not enter the rest (canaan) becoz of unbelief! Context!

Let me ask two simple questions: Matt. 17:3 says about the Transfiguration, "And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him" (that is with Christ). Context is clear that both Moses and Elijah talked with Jesus, if Moses was dead how could he talk with Jesus? If you say it's his spirit, then this is blatant contradiction as the overall witness of scripture about death is that they know nothing (Eccl. 9:5), the dead cannot praise God, let alone talk with him (Isa. 38:18, NLT). Second, the original word for "talked with Him" has a reciprocal nuance, that is "to speak, to converse with" (Nida-Louw, Lexicon of the New Testament), and the same word is used in other passages of NT as real people conversing with each other, never with spirits or dead person! Please based your answer in scripture. Thanks so much!

There have been several times that I felt so uncomfortable with the messages from Ellen White's writing that I felt driven to read my bible and pray to God to clear my confusion and give me peace. Jesus as shown in the bible brings peace and comfort - unlike the writings of Ellen White which bring confusion and stress. Also, Jesus implied that eggs were good ( see Luke 11:11-13) and there are many other bible scriptures that showed what Jesus approved of and didn't approve of doesn't line up with either Ellen White's writings, her lifestyle or how she treated others.
There are people who've unfortunately dedicated their ministries to try and convince people that the Roman Catholic church is going to take over the world and force worship. The sane people have invested so much into this idea which was approved by Ellen White that it's hard for them to repent and be seen as wrong about it.

Because Ellen White claimed that she was sent by God. The evidence? None. Her lifting a heavy bible (if it happened) didn't help anyone. It just served to make some people believe in her and give her and her husband money. They were religious charlatans. Anyone can say the words ' walk in love and follow God', but she and her husband were not good examples of this nor did they appear to know what it meant.

Really enjoyed listening to this . Have come across a friend who is SDA and some of what he was saying just wasn’t sitting right. And I’m sad to say that I also told him I’m not going to dialect with him anymore due not have open ears! as in his words he’s heard all before.
I really needed this video! I searched and found, I already knew from God's infallible word (kjb, the preserved word of God) that egw was a false prophet but mostly a profit. I was in a 5 year relationship and I let myself get caught up in the seventh day adventurism church, reading etc yet I knew deep down she was false. I made cases, arguments, points and was always presented me being wrong. I even stated hebrews, Christ sitting by the right hand of God not moving around from room to room but ascended into the most holy the presence of God! Jesus is not Michael, Michael is one of the chief princes meaning there are more, as in more arch angels! Angels were created to worship christ so Jesus can not be an angel God does not worship himself neither does Jesus! Christ being in flesh rebuked satan with the authority of God's word, but Michael did not bring accusations against satan over the dispute of the body of moses, he simply said may the Lord rebuke thee! Christ 2nd return is another example they try misleading us, they say if Christ is the wonderful prince and Michael if the chief prince and watches over his people, then when Christ returns with a shout the voice of the arch angel then it means Michael is Christ? Wrong said no verse in the bible, the voice of the arch angel means it will be a powerful voice or that Michael will announce Christ's return! (YOUR KING OF KINGS HAS RETURNED!) Correct me if I am understanding it wrong please! By Christ alone are we saved through God's grace by our faithfulness in our saviour Yashua! Christ bore our sins, egw says that sins will be placed on satan now that sounds wrong! Even though I made these clear arguments I was still shut down, I felt unequally yoked together with an unbeliever and she told me I was the unbeliever and by rejecting egw and her as a prophet the truth that I will have to answer to God, it was a scare tactic, I did not give in never would I be deceived I KNEW THE TURTH GOD'S WORD! She threatened me many times if it goes against God's word then there has to be a separation. Till on day I had enough and said if you love someone, love them for who they are not who you can charge them into what you want cus that's not love! Then I hung up and felt free from constant judgement of my beliefs (kjv bible only) no room no acceptance of egw false prophet! God does the change not man, through Christ's unfailing love, mercy and compassion praise God!

Honestly I came across the lesser light greater light quotation at 16 , im now 38, and by the leading of the Holy Spirit, I remembered reasoning clearly if the Bible is the greater light why would i waste time on the lesser and this is what prompted me to read the Bible mostly over her writings.
For some reason I know the Lord shield me from most of the nonsense, because i am amazed at what I'm understanding is really the truth of adventism. But its not shocking, i knew something was always iffy doctrinally now its crystal.

She made no claims about being a prophet. She writes excellent books that all align with the Bible, but my favorite is "Step To Christ Book." She also describes having an extraordinary vision in which she is left breathless and without a pulse for several hours while holding a heavy bible open with only one hand. In my opinion, she was used by God to uphold the law as everyone has forgotten the divine rule.

You will Not find Ellen White’s writings against Scripture. On the contrary, she supports the Bible completely. She herself said that if we really study the Bible, we would not need her writings- but let me tell you, her “lesser light” shines beautifully on “the greater light.” This man obviously is picking out lines to strive to sully her name, but we who really know her books and other writings, are well satisfied that she is indeed inspired and used by The Holy Spirit.
