Well ...if you watch gamers nexus then they did a 12100f video and explained that a h series board doesn't use all the processor lanes so I went with a b series board.
Let's not forget the 5500 only supports pcie 3.0. AMD really made a stupid decision with that move. You should manually drop the 12100 down to pcie 3 mode to make it more apples to apples for gaming tests.
i5 12400f + arc a750+ MSI PRO B760M-E DDR4 12/13TH GEN MOTHERBOARD is it a bad combo ??? my purpose is productivity mainly and also gaming , online games recent triple AAA games.. will i face any problem with this build ?? GREAT VIDEO watching from BANGLADESH
Yes that would be a pretty solid 1080p build. The i5 will definitely help with productivity over the i3. You should have zero issues as long as you’re not playing above 1080p.
@@Techomode Also if you do not mind, is it recommended if I went with a z690 motherboard and a i3-12100f cpu, my plan is so I could upgrade to a i5-13600k later on.
G.Skill ram is my favorite, Corsair is solid too. If on a budget kingston ram. Those are some of the few I've tested and know they work well. @@misterhoudi2824
the 5500 is slightly better than an i3 12100f, but keep in mind a 5500 is gonna benefit from an amd gpu and a 12100f is gonna benefit from an intel one
i didnt try with arc a580 but with the rx6600xt which is a pcie 4.0 gpu it was from 10% to 20 % depending on the game and the settings but with the 3060 it was less (from 4% to 12%) it was mostly visible in AAA titles like cyber punk @@Techomode
Good video. If you like AMD then I recommend on waiting for an on sale 5600/5600x. I had a 5600x for my gaming cpu for a couple of years. It paired well even with a rtx 3080. The great thing on either $500 build is that they have good upgrade options, the AMD build can go to a 5800x3d cpu and the Intel build can probably go all the way to a 13500 cpu. The 13500 are around $250, so not really a budget cpu but the 13500 is an awesome cpu for the price. They'll get cheaper when the 14 gen cpu's come out next month or so.
I recently got a 5600X myself and its been awesome so far. If you have 50 extra bucks its definitely worth the upgrade from the 5500. Especially if you plan on doing 1440p gaming.

My wife is currently beating me but Techo mode uploaded a all intel build, this is definitely a sicko mode moment.
Turn your wife into gamer
keep it up... i subbed bcuz u r unique.
Appreciate the support!
Please make a video about Intel Arc A750 RTX performance. Does it support shaders on old games like genshin impact and Roblox ?

hi how's your day going 🤗
very sicko mode
Arc second generation 👍👍👍
Intel is the clear winner in terms of raw & pure rage performance ❤
I wouldn't go any lower than 1TB primary storage. 500GB are going to fill up fast.
I agree. If you got the extra 10-15bucks for a 1tb I definitely recommend that.
I'm saving up for a pc right now. Can I use a 12th gen intel i5 instead of the i3 and the gpu in this video?
buut , how about 2k or 4k gameplay ? could you please test atleast once to compare if possible ? I will switch over to intel cpu if so
Is it fine if I switch to 32 gigs? Want something cheaper too, which brand do you recommend?
Are you asking for what brand of ram?
@@Techomode yes :)

Cool cool
Definitely an intel fan 👍
Yup
I don't see how its hated
was rebar enabled during benchmark of both cpus?
Are the power supply cables for the gpu daisychained with that psu???
um 5 5500 is pcie gen3 so there is a loss of performance even a ryzen 5 3600 can support gen 4.0
From your testing, how much performance is lost while gaming then? From my testing there’s almost zero difference.

@@Techomode will the r5 5600 be better than i3 12th gen for this particular card?
Single core always wins in gaming. I will take a higher single core 4 core over a slower 6, 8, or 16 for gaming all day
