While booking in KSRTC( Karnataka) , pls check for bus named airavat, ambaari, pallakki or ashvamedha ... these are slightly better than these red busses in comfort. Awesome video guys...have fun😊 do try local Coorgi food like - Pork Curry called (Pandi Curry )with some akhi roti ( rice flour roti) and steam rice balls -Coorgi's generally love there wines they also homemake it -they have amazing coffee varieties which gets exported outside the country - if possible stay in an Airbnb amidst coffee plantation -they also have some amazing homestays with private waterfall and streams - you can also check out one of the best resort in India located in Coorg called The Tamara for a meal
For grape wine, Sula valley in Maharashtra is the best place. Goa has a nice cashew feni, Himachal has great apple cider in the mountain regions, and the northeast makes a fermented rice wine in bamboo (forgot what that was called).
When going to Mangalore or other cities in Karnataka, you can choose Airavat club class buses which are more comfortable Volvo buses. Anyway trying out local bus is also quite experience! Keep doing the great work.

The reason you find a lot of alcohol shops in Coorg is because drinking is part of the culture there. Whether it is someone's birth, death, wedding, any other event, they drink. And it's normal for women , aunts , uncles and everyone to drink together. I'm not a Coorgi but I love their hospitality. Very fun loving people and brave - many of them are part of the defence forces.
We Kodava(coorgies) drink more of homemade wine, shops are more(not more liquor shops or pubs much as Bangalore or mysore though) becoz other communities don't drink wine as they wish for whiskey run beer etc n also lot tourists prefer it so can't help but open as part of business ✌️
Guys visit Kasaragod it is near coorg(100km),mangalore(50km) Places to visit ,Ranipuram hill station,bekal fort,Ananthapura lake temple(there is a vegetarian crocodile)
Guys, you should also visit Mangalore-Udupi which is also near to Coorg. This place has many clean beaches and beautiful nature. Also it’s Ice Cream Capital of India and the place where Dosa was originated
