Listening to the Bagpipes moves me to tears wherever I am. It resonates to my Soul. So proud of my Maori/ Scottish/ English and Irish Ancestry, but I have a special affinity for my Scottish heritage. Thank you Paul McCartney and band and Thank You also to The Campbell Town Pipe Band, for this CLASSIC, TIMELESS, MASTERPIECE!. ENCORE! Greetings and Blessings from Auckland, NZ.. xXx
Your´re not the only one, dear, it´s not my homeland (but Germany) and Paul´s song wettens my cheeks almost any time I´m listening to it, since 1977, when I bought the single with my pocket money at the age of 14 or 15 (can´t remember exactly, I was born in May), after having listened to it for the first time. Thanks to Paul and the scotish bagpipers and drummers as well.
I watched 110 Pipe Bands march through Dunoon in 1971 as part of the Highland Games. I love Scotland and Argyll. This is now a part on me. Thank you, USN!
One of the top 50 songs of any genre capable of bringing people together. Soulful, wistful and inspirational all rolled into one. Being of Scottish, Irish and English descent helps a tad also. The melody is haunting. The Bagpipes give life to the song.
Paul McCartney you have done a great Job of creating another his piece of music that will be marched to by Scotch Troops for many years to come. Thank you for good sounds.
the pipes get me everytime !we had a sea fair parade here in b.c.and when i was young all my friends were looking for the f loats and free candy and i was looking and waiting for the pipe band to come marching playing there song ,my favourite sound !
Only Paul McCartney could pull off something like this. A stadium filled to the brim for one of his concerts, and ending the show with a Scottish pipe band! ❤
Mull of Kintyre has nothing to do with the island of Mull. It stretches from Loch Gilphead in the north and down through Ardrishaig, Tarbert and Campleton, with a number of villages I haven’t mentioned.
This not the real Paul McCartney. He died in September or November of 1966 in car accident. This was his replacement William Shears Campbell found by Brian Epstein. He was found in Paul lookalike contest. Plastic surgery employed to make him more like Paul. He was a session player and could imitate him. Look at him online. Taller than Paul. Learned to play left handed. Read Ringo’s explanation the queen insisted on it as well as mi6. Afraid of mass suicides at the time because of his popularity with girls at concerts etc. Hence being knighted for service to his country. He completely changed after 1966. Different Timbres to their voices. Skulls don’t match. Look at it all online Hence hear he is! BILLY SHEARS sgt.pepper album!

Nothing unites people together more than music. Thanks for this wonderful piece. What a blessing these entertainers are.

I love this song with the bag pipes.

And I love the lyrics, too

Could easily be the Scottish national anthem its so unique amongst nations, no one else uses the bagpipes in a national anthem. this fits the words.
Only Paul McCartney could pull off something like this. A stadium filled to the brim for one of his concerts, and ending the show with a Scottish pipe band! ❤
That was great! The pipes make the song whole.

This is one of my favorites. He’s never performed it in the US.
This is a classic.
Thank you Paul McCartney for writing such a beautiful song about The Isle of Mull, Scotland. She is still God's nation of beauty.

Sorry Campbeltown, google spelling took over
I'm sure his farm is in that area, and I agree with Archie nothing to do with the island of mull.

the answer you need is on Paul`s shoulders!
This was the 12th
Trust McCartney to write a song very well suited to a pipe band.
He can write and play ANY style!
cuando volveremos DIOS
Quel honneur pour sir Paul il le mérite bien
WOW!!!!
It must have been amazing live but not so good on my phone.
That one hater really should consider giving up music altogether..
when bagpipes start playing we all are scottish
Amen
: :
True words Laddie
Och Aye Jock
Don't ya mean SCOTTISH!!!
The stage is much to small for that crowd. That's easy to see of course.
❤️❤️🇦🇺🏴
What plaid are the bagpipe band wearing?
How do you tune bagpipes ??? Nobody knows !!!!
It's really an art to do it correctly. Most bands use tuners to set them just right.
Si ce n'est pas joué à mes funérailles, je ne meurs pas
acho q ñ to vendo isso?!
I have 1/4 Scottish blood, but when I hear the pipes it's 100% Scottish!
emocionante
WHO dislikes this??
Too bad the sound quality is atrocious…
