ethiopia is the second most important country to christianity after Israel. It is home to the ark of the covenant and a long line of kings descended from the house of David. As a christian these two countries mean alot to me.I always make sure to visit lalibela annually as part of my devotion to Jesus.My wish is to visit Israel before Jesus calls me. You are so correct. I wish more Black Christians, especially those from the diaspora, would be more vocal about this. We should loudly proclaim that the Bible is African centered, the man Jesus was Black and not white, and that Christianity is not a white man's religion. Christianity, though, has been used for centuries to control and subjugate Black people because our history has been lost. It continues to be used to dominate us today. We need to understand our history and place as the first people from which all worship began. If we truly understood that, Christianity would be truly used to serve God on earth and not be used to hurt and abuse others. I have spent time living in Africa and am considering moving back to live there and want to find a group of like minded Black people who understand these issues and want to work towards empowering and uplifting Black people in Jesus' name without the subjugation of others.

Ethiopia is one of the first countries in the world to accept Christianity as a state religion. Yes, the majority of Ethiopians are Orthodox christians. However, the video is about the 10 countries in Africa that Christianity is most dominant. In Ethiopia Islam is, I think around 35% and Christianity around 45%. This is based on some information that I got from various sources. Therefore, although Christianity is the most dominant in Ethiopia, according to this video it is not as dominant as some other African countries.

I think this video is discussing dominant religion meaning anything more than 80 percent of the population practicing or following the religion!
