As my good friend Tenywa puts it: "You were speaking Danlish, when you arrived in Uganda." In November 2018 I gave a lecture at the horticulture departement under the faculty of Agriculture at Makerere University. This is how much my English have improved. I am happy that Uganda was my first English speaking country to live in. I have since lived in Kenya, Hawaii (USA) and Japan, but Uganda is like my homecountry now. 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬

WE HAVE Justin Beaber coming to SA again, 2022, Rihanna is coming back in March you will never hear Drake performing in Nigeria, or Jay-z he will be fed up.

I am from Namibia. I am happy for Uganda. For crying out loud, I have talked to many Africans in English, but the Kenyans are the most fluent and can easily be understood. But I have a problem with number 3, it is the least understandable accent. Even their president has a good masterly of language. But anyway, we should push to speak an African language in Africa. Probably, the most widely spoken, which I guess is Swahili.
In some parts of ScotLand i am cLueLess what they ar saying in EngLish, impossing a nationaL Language as yu suggest kiswahiLi is no a good idea, as many African countries have their-own Languages.

How Rwanda which recently added English as an official language can be ranked 10th as the best English speaking country in Africa and Liberia not in the list? She also mentioned that Ghanaian English can disturb foreigners because of thick accent and use of pidgin, what about Nigeria then? As a Ghanaian born and raised in France (lived in USA and now in UK) when I go to Ghana, we understand each other perfectly. Yet, I’m not really familiar with their English accent since I didn’t grow up in Ghana. Moreover, the accent doesn’t make you better than somebody else. Indeed, some British or American people don’t even speak English properly.
I remembered one day I went for a birthday party for a friend from Nigeria but in that party I was the only Ugandan and one American lady but most of the people were Nigerians and Germans, but during stories telling time the American lady took her time and asked me, Are you also from Nigeria? I replied no am from Uganda and lady was like oh I was wondering because speak a very fluent English 🙏🏼. Congratulations pearl of Africa.
I am currently Self Studying Kiswahil so I can understand and speak Swahili when I visit both Kenya🇰🇪 and Tanzania🇹🇿...Eventually I would like to relocate to Kenya and obtain my Dual Citizenship....

I am from Namibia. I am happy for Uganda. For crying out loud, I have talked to many Africans in English, but the Kenyans are the most fluent and can easily be understood. But I have a problem with number 3, it is the least understandable accent. Even their president has a good masterly of language. But anyway, we should push to speak an African language in Africa. Probably, the most widely spoken, which I guess is Swahili.
In some parts of ScotLand i am cLueLess what they ar saying in EngLish, impossing a nationaL Language as yu suggest kiswahiLi is no a good idea, as many African countries have their-own Languages.

How Rwanda which recently added English as an official language can be ranked 10th as the best English speaking country in Africa and Liberia not in the list? She also mentioned that Ghanaian English can disturb foreigners because of thick accent and use of pidgin, what about Nigeria then? As a Ghanaian born and raised in France (lived in USA and now in UK) when I go to Ghana, we understand each other perfectly. Yet, I’m not really familiar with their English accent since I didn’t grow up in Ghana. Moreover, the accent doesn’t make you better than somebody else. Indeed, some British or American people don’t even speak English properly.

I remembered one day I went for a birthday party for a friend from Nigeria but in that party I was the only Ugandan and one American lady but most of the people were Nigerians and Germans, but during stories telling time the American lady took her time and asked me, Are you also from Nigeria?
