- I absolutely adore a Sunday roast. It is the perfect time to leave your phones to one side, turn off the TV and sit down with your loved ones and enjoy eating in their company.
It doesn’t have to be at lunchtime, early evenings work well too - this way, you have more of the day to do the things that need to be done.
This week, after a vote over on my social media channels, I’m showing you how I cook my Sunday roast beef - I’m so glad you all love beef as much as I do and was thrilled at the opportunity to film it! The fruits of my labour were thoroughly enjoyed by the family afterwards too.
My recipes are all available to buy on my shop right now as digital downloads, and for one week only I’m offering them at 20% off! There are tonnes of recipes in there from healthy lunches to cracking curries and family favourites! So do visit my shop now to pick up a bargain and you can follow along with my video!

Thank you for watching,
Love,

I never thought to swirl the fat I’m around the tin to ensure it doesn’t stick! What a great tip thank you!
Always works a treat 😊
So informative thank you! I’m cooking Sunday lunch tomorrow using an aga for the first time - this video has really helped! Thank you
Could we please see the food plated? Did not get to see the veg finished. It is like "did i miss something"? You are an incredible cook. Let us see the finished product.
I always put either fresh thyme or rosemary when roasting veg
You canny beat bisto gravy powder. My mum always made gravy with it.
It’s the best xx
Thank you for your video. I have bought a 4 door aims electric cream . A real beauty but a bit nervous. Never had an aga before.
If you need any help let me know I have my Aga course that would be really helpful for you xx
Thank you very much. Xx
Where’s the completed roast dinner? Disappointed to watch all the way through and not see a plated Sunday roast
I love AGA stoves but the roast can sit out for up to two hours safely, so use the time. Before seasoning rub the piece of meat with a binder. Oil or mustard works great. Season all sides of the meat, not just a pile on top.
love the big spoon your using. You don't see them much now can you still buy them.??
Reminds me of the Marry Poppins scene with the medicine.
Thank you! I love an old big spoon!! Xx
Hi Charlie we’ve just bought an old barn and there is an electric aga and no instruction manual it’ seems to be the same model as yours . Can you please share the model type and I can look for the manual as I don’t even know how to switch it on!
I’m used to a neff induction so I’m a newcomer to Aga
Love your video 👌
For how long would you cook the potatoes if you have a normal ventilated oven?x sorry, I’m very new to cooking!
For about 40 mins, turning halfway through xx
@@ask.charlie thank you xx
on a 2 door Aga - what timing do you use as it only has Roasting and simmering. Thanks xx
I would do the first 45 mins in the hot oven then the remaining time in the simmering one. Hope that helps
Wonderful video! You mentioned that you are from Pulborough, but I thought detected a hint of a west country (perhaps Gloucestershire) accent? I wish I could have one of your roast dinners!
Why the flour on all veg?
show me your yorkshires
Seems very chaotic cooking. Let's buy an aga because it is the superior cooking range, but must have an electric oven for the Yorkshire puddings! Cook the Yorkshire pudding first, reheat when needed.
Can you use normal saucepans / frying pans?
you can buy saucepans and trays specially for aga cookers. look up the aga website
@@carolynmurtaza1180 thank you 😊
I love bisto powder and can’t find it anywhere 😢
Are you outside of the UK? Maybe try amazon
@@lanataliamaria no in the UK. Only get the silly granules where I am.
Seen better YP’s 🙈
