    This is a great product. Not only for safety, but it keeps our dog from wandering around the backseat too much, but he’s still able to lie down comfortably.

    I absolutely love your Clickit Terrain seatbelt. I have a 65lb Old English sheepdog who would for sure get ejected and possibly kill me in the process in a high impact car accident, so we got the seatbelt to keep everyone safe. It did take a couple of weeks for her to get used to it, and you do need the s-clip to prevent the seatbelt from retracting, but it works like a charm!!!

    Yay thank you! this is exactly what I was waiting for before buying this product. I'm definitely sold now I just have to wait for the purple version to come out!

    • @cait3holtzback788
      @cait3holtzback788 6 лет назад +4

      So wise to hold out for purple. In safety tests of all kinds, in the USA, Canada and Germany, Purple always rates Number 1. This holds true for planes, trains, automobiles and Jet Skies as well as for potentially life-saving dog safety harnesses. However, when purchasing your next aeroplane, avoid purple unless you intend to match it either with a fuscia or lavender parachute.

    • @cait3holtzback788
      @cait3holtzback788 6 лет назад +3

      In all seriousness, Purple is always regarded as a superior material from which to construct anything especially when compared to Orange which has nowhere near the spectromatic structural integrity of Purple and by that I mean, any Purple whatsoever even those more questionable Purples with strong leanings toward the red or blue color frequencies.

    • @cait3holtzback788
      @cait3holtzback788 6 лет назад +3

      Or, while wisely holding out for this harness in Purple, you could fill your entire automobile with purple plushies which might even work better.

    I got this for my puppy. The design needs improvement! The straps don't easily adjust I had to cut off the elastic loop junk and push in the extra strap length with a screw driver it's not easily done with your hands. Also wish it had a different strap design across the back like the other sleepypod harnesses. I got this style because the sizing had a wider range and since this isn't cheep I wanted a wider size range. The accessories aren't that great. Buckle cover not compatible with my recessed seat belt buckles. Also S clip went inside the seat belt hole! Over all it's okay but could be better!

    Why does the harness break däringa the crashtest? And Wahl the differensen between the terapin and sport?

    • @Sleepypod
      @Sleepypod  4 года назад

      In answer to question 1: Clickit Terrain's patented Infinity Loop is designed to remain intact during a crash. Meanwhile, the buckles and shock absorbing sleeves are designed to reduce the damaging forces when breaking on impact. Question 2: Clickit Terrain, Sleepypod's newer design, was designed with working dogs in mind. Shock Absorbing Sleeves offer more comfort when worn for prolonged periods of time in and out of the car. More information can be found at Sleepypod.com. Can the dog choose to stand/sit/lay down with the seatbelt attached?

      A dog can sit, lay down, and shift position.

      I have the previous model, the sport. And the strap on the seatbelt buckle side, will very often get caught on the male part of the seatbelt, that you’d grab onto. Causing the dog to not be able to move. Happens all the time with my standard poodle. Another issue, and I only happened a few times, before my Rottweiler died of cancer last year, is that the dog can turn turn around 360° at least he would do it, causing them to be even more trapped. Also the adjustment does not stay in place. I’m constantly adjusting the harness for my poodle, to a smaller size, to better fit her.
      Other than those issues, I think they’re a great safety harnesses, at least the sport is. I wrote to them earlier tonight, about getting the terrain in exchange. If it’s improved.

    If your dog is at the top end of the size chart, is it better to go a size up?

    • @Sleepypod
      @Sleepypod  4 года назад +2

      Thanks for your interest. It is better to choose the smaller size rather than going up to the next size. I just purchased the Clickit Terrain and my dog wore it a few times around the house until we were sure she was comfortable with it. Today was the first car ride with her in it and the seat belt seemed to get so tight against her back and kept getting tighter as it retracted, causing her discomfort. What do you recommend? I saw someone say something about an S ring. What is an S ring? Where can I obtain one and will it help?

    • @Sleepypod
      @Sleepypod  3 года назад +1

      Hi Jean - Thanks for reaching out. Some cars have more sensitive auto-retractors. It sounds like this is the case in your situation. The S-Clip can help in this situation as it prevents the seatbelt from retracting further. Here is a link to the instructional video - ruclips.net/video/XHizbFdPFLM/видео.html As of today, the S-Clip is out of stock but should be available soon. Sleepypod's customer service team will have a better estimate. Email the team at contact@sleepypod.com or chat with them via the web chat widget on the home page of Sleepypod.com.

    why is it that your video states that the product should be tightened by pulling the "top" strap while the accompanying literature states the opposite? pull the bottom strap for tightening! not confidence inspiring that you missed this error. otherwise, disappointed in the quality and usability of your product. i will be returning it.

    • @Sleepypod
      @Sleepypod  4 года назад

      Hello A.J. - The Clickit Sport safety harness model is tightened from the top strap (that product video can be found at ruclips.net/video/meYnt8YFG_E/видео.html ), whereas Clickit Terrain is tightened from the bottom strap (as noted in this video and in the Clickit Terrain instructional card - sleepypod.com/InstructionManuals/instructions_terrain.pdf). Our customer service team is available to help with any questions, to include walking you through sizing your product and product returns.
