I saw Shay’s video over the winter and I am so thankful you did this one in season to remind me that I totally wanted to do this! Such a great teaching video Tracy! Great job!
Tracy, I have missed you and been praying for you. I hope you have been feeling better, you look well and happy. Thank you for doing videos when you can I always enjoy them. You have so much knowledge to share.👍👍👍❤❤❤
Hey 👋 sweet lady 😘 Hope you are doing well, 🫶..my herbs 🌿 are starting to grow more, since I transplanted them ❤️ bet your grandson is getting a little bigger ❤My love to🫠
@justdigitfarms I really did learn a lot and can't wait to try all of your seasoning recipes! Will be herb shopping this weekend. 😀 Looking forward to seeing y'all again in September at Petal's!
I love this so much. I make tons of seasoning blends and I have always dried them all individually first. What a time saver. ❤ I love making Thai blends with lemongrass, peppers, kafir lime leaves, etc….
I enjoyed this about the herbs. I've tried to grow them and have no luck. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. God bless you! Watching from BERRY ALABAMA .❤
So interesting to me that there’s nutmeg and cinnamon in the Greek blend. They all sound (and I know, smell) delicious - thanks so much for sharing! ❤ xo
Stacy I hope you are fully recovered, you are looking very slim and good. Can't wait to learn your seasoning recipes. All the best! I follow Shea, Elliott Homestead, she is good to learn from also.
Thanks Tracy! I’m sooo going too try these seasoning salts. Especially the Lemon 🍋 Salt. The infusion drinks will be great this summer in the heat. From CA🏖️take care
I love drying herbs. I use Winter Savory, Oregano, Loveage. I think I will put some Lemon Thyme in. I never thought of that. I Sprinkle a little salt on mine when it is drying. I never thought of the hot pepper seeds. So I am going to try yours the next time which is soon. Love you
I love that you can make most all of your seasonings yourself. Do you dehydrate them or use a freeze dryer? And does it make a difference in which you use. I only have a dehydrator, which is why I ask. 💖🤔💖😉
I grew Plethora, Savannah and Red Creole. They are all short day onions I start them out by fertilizing with the HOSS complete organic fertilizer Go check out HoSS they have a great onion growing guide shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=862842&u=2930087&m=65739&urllink=&afftrack=
What great presents those would make. Don’t have all the necessary herbs. Don’t have lemon verbena at all. That’s one you failed to tell me about. So it’s all your fault. LMBO. just kidding. I’m finding all kinds of things I wish I had planted. This my first year. Next year less vegetables n more herbs. Lol
It is a shame that more people are not seeing your videos. The quality of this was outstanding! You are such an excellent teacher.
Wow, thank you!
I love that you are doing the blending of the herbs while they are fresh and then drying them after. That is awesome.!!
It’s works really good!

I hang herbs to dry or dehydrate.
Unfortunately I don’t have a freeze dryer yet!
Thank you so much. They sound amazing ❤
You're welcome 😊
What is that book that you are showing pics from?thx
That’s not a book those are recipe cards/ pictures I created to add to my website
I bought some bay leaf plants last year I never did harvest mine so when do you harvest the leaves and do you just dry them or?
I harvest mine as I need them
But during the summer I’ll harvest extra and I dry them in the dehydrator
Can you freeze dry herbs? I’m thinking hard about getting a freeze dryer.
Yes you can.
I want one really bad! Maybe one day 🙂
Here in New Mexico, all of my mint died. So hot, so dry, so sad.
It is hot here in Alabama, I can’t imagine how hot it is in New Mexico
GM. I was interested in what variety if short term onions did you have harvest this year and what did you use for their fertilizer? Thank you.
I grew Plethora, Savannah and Red Creole. They are all short day onions
I start them out by fertilizing with the HOSS complete organic fertilizer
Go check out HoSS they have a great onion growing guide
