Excellent video on medicinal herbs of which I never really knew about. You are right that God gave us the plants to use. I finally got a passion flower plant to live through the winter. So excited. I have coneflower, Yarrow and lemon balm. I am going to try using them. I wish there was a plant for diabetes

The thyroid surgery is an easy surgery. I can't see a difference since my surgery.. but I have many other things going on.
I will keep you in my prayers. If God feels like you need it to give you a sign.

I enjoy learning about herbs and I’m so glad you talk about them. I hope they will help to keep you from having to have the surgery. My Dr wanted to take my thyroid out but mine isn’t as bad as yours. I said I didn’t want the surgery because you will have to take medicine for the rest of your life. I hope you can find what helps you. Praying for you.

Has your doctor checked your iodine levels? I read an article that stated over the decades, our soil has been depleted of many minerals and it also stated that up to 90% of people are iodine deficient and that Japanese people, who eat more seafood, rarely suffer from this. Due to potential chemical changes, I like to use sub-lingual drops (put the drops under the tongue, so it absorbs directly. Anyway, I use MaryRuth Organics Potassium Iodide | Iodine Supplement | 1 Year Supply | Iodine Drops | USDA Organic - for about $20, you can get a one year supply (1 ounce) bottle.

My sister had hyperthyroidism and had a portion of her thyroid removed ....she has not had to be medicated at all after the operation ....
You need a very good surgeon who can figure exactly how much to remove ....
Thinking of you and I wish you well .....

I've been praying for your healing journey ❤️ you've probably already done some research on a ketogenic diet, but I thought I would mention it just in case. There is a lot of research showing that when your body goes into ketosis it will start to heal itself. A keto diet is supposed to really help your thyroid too. ❤

Tracy have you considered acupuncture for your thyroid? I was skeptical about acupuncture but I took my dog to a holistic veterinarian as a last resort that practice both eastern and western medicine. Acupuncture gave my dog so much relief from her pain. In talking to people about the miracle for my dog. I’ve been told by people that said acupuncture helped their thyroid. I would keep an open mind about it and try it before your July appointment. I would not give up my thyroid without trying everything.
I loved this video. I have many of these plants but I’m going to order the tin of seeds.

I think it’s too cold here and not long enough growing season but noticed with our mild winter ONE passion flower came uo n is growing slowly. Maybe I need to talk to it. Lmbo

Try watching Dr. Ken Berry and Neisha Berry’s YT channels and research the carnivore diet. I believe it helps people with auto-immune disorders and so much more. It requires research definitely but Dr.Berry is a great place to start and his wife’s hashimoto disease is in remission. Hope you find the answer🌸

Mine not enough to harvest the root yet. How many years should I wait. My echinacea is five years old but not widespread (due to my digging dogs). Grrr. Afraid to harvest the root fur fear of ruining my bed. Have never harvested seeds for. medicinal purposes.

❤ I wanted to ask a question about lemon balm. Last year late spring/early summer I transplanted my seedling into a bigger pot and kept it for months in that larger pot but I kept noticing it stayed the same size would have brown edging on a few of its leaves, I would remove them but then it slowly started to turned yellow. So I transplanted it into a raised bed late this February. It has not grown at all and still yellow/green in color. It wasn't root bound and the raised bed has compost with a mix of raised bed potting soil. It doesn't matter if I water it or just leave it be for a couple days. It stays the same no matter what I do. If you have any suggestions I'd very much appreciate it! I'm not sure if I should leave it be or try to transplant it again. It receives afternoon sun and shade later in the evening. Here in zone 9b Southwest of Houston,Tx. It's hot and steamy 🥵
