You make it so easy! I've been trying to make 4 hole ocarinas, and just making it whistle is hard! Then, once it whistles, tuning is even harder! Please make a video of how to make the wind hole correctly and cleanly and how big these holes should be! Thank you so much!
The burning with the rice straw and adding the natural varnish give it a really nice look

That looks and sounds really nice, I never thought using straw would create such a nice looking pattern after you put the varnish on. I'd certainly consider buying one if you had a website to sell these on.

Hi! I'm an ocarina maker too, trying to achieve the same look you did.
I was wondering, what kind of clay are you using? Is it a low fire porous clay, or is it a high fire stoneware?
Also, what varnish specifically did you use? It looks beautiful!

@@camf5187 i cant explain it exactly as latters roughly ac key clay weight is 500g digging weight is 160g u should make over and over

sorry but i dont know the names of the tool in english. But. U can get the tools around u easily. Good luck.
I'm pretty sure they're just called clay tools depending on your location you can usually find them at hobby lobby Michael's Joannes and other craft stores hope this helps

When it comes to sounds,it depends on an airway or sound edges. But if u get a good sounds u should try over and over. It isnt enough just only first try. Hope u make a good ocarinas thanks.
