I am taking apart a “sealed” cartridge. Many cultivators use this style cart. Cresco labs, goldleaf ataraxia, pharmacann, and many others.
This method is used to take the tip off the sealed or compressed tip cartridges only. Not for the screw threaded tips, those can simply be unscrewed.

Yeah, thats you tube. I learned about cars and fixing them, vape tricks, skateboard tricks, build a wall, install systems in cars etc etc.... So idk where you been but you can learn to do endless things by yourself with the internet, not just switching pot juice from one cart to another !

Thanks man. This is a good video. Told me exactly what i wanted to know, which was how to get a cart open. Im new to the vape pen thing but ive been a steady smoker since 1985. Tossing out the lil bit left when it was clogging and half ass burning was bugging the shit out of me. Going through decades of weed being illegal drilled into me to not be wasteful. Just a heads up--f you have the white carts this is much more challenging, there's some kind of lip that fixes the mouthpiece to the stem after it's compressed. I ended up heating one up that was clogging a lot (and almost finished) with a blow dryer and got some fat hits out of it. I think the oil that got in the stem and clogged it sinks back down to the coil.

Worked like a charm. But I had to slowly keep pulling it off only one side which will probably ruin your cart however I needed to get juice out of a bad cart and transfer it so perfect for me.
This was after I spent half an hour trying to twist either end off with a lot of force. I was defeated until I tried this.
Today was a good day.
This still doesn't work. At this point I'm guessing mine is glued on in some way

To yall havin trouble: cover it with the cloth then wiggle and pull, then give it a rest. Then rotate the cart a 1/4 turn and do the same wiggle and pull motion.
Covering the cart with the cloth helps keeping you from breaking it and griping it without damaging them. Works with muhameds as well.

@@alexandraa5424 It's not easy. I had to use 2 pairs of pliers, one on each end, to get them open. Even then, only about half would open without breaking. Still, I got a couple extra days worth out of them. GL!

Man I wish I could say this worked, however I tried for like 30 mins straight pulling/prying no luck. Some of these companies literally make them indestructible so your'e forced to buy another.
That’s the same problem I’m having. Tried for abt 25-30 minutes and it still wouldn’t come off! I’m still searching for video at the moment too let me know if you find anything.
U just need to force it. If you really cant get it withought breaking it you could try heating it up a little to make it malleable

Yes, dude!!!! Thank you so much!!! My friend just gave me 10 "nearly empty" carts, half of which don't work (faulty elements or coil or whatever), so destroying it was totally an option hahaha BUT THIS IS SO EASY, JUST WIGGLE IT WITH PLIERS. I even used the thick part of needle-nose pliers. I didn't necessarily wiggle it, but I put very hard leverage in one direction for several seconds, flipped it over and repeated, and after a few times it popped right out! Thanks again!!!

Spent forever trying to get it off, my husband couldn't even get it. Heated the tip up where it comes off over a candle for 20 seconds and it popped right off when I pulled. Had a full cart that was defected glad to salvage it lol

How do you get the side glass off without breaking? I’ve saw several videos with the top comin off but not the side that holds the wax.

Just a little tip for anyone who is trying to open their carts to combine the remnants into one cart:
If they dont have enough left to where they will drop out, using T pins (they are metal and like 2 inches long and look like a T) works wonders to scrape with. Also, if the liquid is a little thick and too far down or whatever, try using a flat iron. Put the little rubber piece that comes on the threading back on so that the cart will stand up on it's own. Turn the flat iron on and set it so that it isnt touching the cart but so the metal plates are on either side of the cart. It will heat up the liquid enough to make it runny enough to transfer it, but it wont burn anything (please, if you try this, be an adult and do so with caution and never leave it unattended.)
My method has evolved to doing a delicate balancing act, stacking one upside down cart on top of a right side up cart.. and I hold the flat iron very carefully in place around the top cart (but again, not actually touching it) so that when then heat starts to make it more liquidy, it drips directly into the tank of the cart on the bottom. Works like a damn charm!
Also? Alternatively if you have a more full cartridge that has just gotten a little too thick to smoke, you can use a blow dryer to warm it up and it'll thin out so you can smoke on it again :)
Yea i did the blow dryer way on accident just testing things out and it mad my carts transfer so much easier lol
I just turn them upside down in a neoprene dab container and just bump the cart with a torch just bump it don’t dab hit it a second or two is plenty of heat it runs out into the container and collecting it to mix is a fun way to recycle leftover oils Buddy be like what’s this flavor u be like uhhhh well I recycled like 20 carts so yeah buddy be like It’s Sooo Yummy Bwhahahaha

Using a candle , I was able to expand the ring just good enough to slide out the mouth piece easily
My friends if you put the rag around the cart tip first then use the pliers around it and twist and pull it comes out in 5 seconds
For anyone struggling to get the top off heat of the metal part before the glass a lull then try I tried and it worked

Are there any types of carts where it's impossible to get the mouthpiece off? Cause I'm struggling very hard and I have the cloth and pliers and it just keeps slipping😟

I think some tips may just be a lost cause, I went as far as using a vice and getting as tight of a grip possible and no matter how much I went back and forth it would not budge in the slightest, you would genuinely think the cap was welded on or something.

lol you done this video after i did mones.. the curaleaf carts in my state are not like that of chamner of your the mouth poece diff and its tamper proof. when i did the video i just doing a trial error ... i like what you did here though .. i moticed when you heat up the bottom the top and or bottom gets loose but you have to vape back to back to hear the inside... if dont do that then its the struggle of what you ,i and others had to do with these type of carts lol

Heat it up a little, it'll help release the seal and make it a lot easier to wiggle off!

Having trouble putting the cap back on, put some oil in from another cart that wasn't working and the mouthpiece just sits on top loosely. I compressed it down to close and it still keeps popping off. I just wanna smoke man 😭

Okay how do you remove the atomizer? To where it's just the glass tube. I've tried everyway and nothing works. I just end up accedently breaking the glass and smoking it off the glass.
@Nathaniel XH usually you cannot take the atomizer / ccell apart easily. It’s easier to just warm it up a bit and let whatever is gonna come out to come out. I have some other helpful tips I will be giving in a future vid. Make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss out.
