Fixing your Clogged Vape Cartridge Instructions

- Occasionally, Vape cartridges clog. This can be caused by a variety of issues but are usually fixed by following the steps in this video. You may want to clean the bottom of your cartridge with some alcohol after completing this.
One thing that I want to ad to this. A preventative measure to keep your vape cartridge from clogging, hold the button for a couple of seconds to heat the contents of the cartridge before taking a toke, especially with THC ∆8. The majority of clogging occurs because the wax is pulled past the coil before for it vaporizes.

yeah 1000%, The oils get too thick for the coil to adequately heat up when you leave the vape for a while then re-use it. Essentially the oils already on the coil, and when you heat it up and pull, some of that oil gets sucked into the ventilation chamber. This doesn't clog the piece on the first time, but after a week or so of not preheating, eventually enough oil collects to form a blockage in the ventilation chamber.
You'll know this is your culprit if you often end up with oil coming out of the mouthpiece by the time the cart is low on fluid.

@@SynXV3 I usually hit it with a hair dryer for a bit of time and turn the cart upside-down and let the stuff drain out.

Thought I was trippin for a second when I bought the cart n I couldn't hit it. Puffed twice from all levels and nothing. This video helped tbh and as soon as I hold the button to 5-10 sec I smelt the flavor. Didn't see smoke but was able to let a ghost 💨 come free

Wow! I’ve been doing this all wrong for the past three plus years! I actually thought that double click was for wax or dabs because i would burn through my carts so fast. I was also using the double click to smoke🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I’ve tossed many half used carts because they would keep clogging and I switched to edibles because I was wasting money on what I thought were garbage carts🤦🏻♀️ thank you for this enlightenment 😁

Omg don’t listen to this video please for the love of god you’re not supposed to preheat for over 5-8 seconds or you’re inhaling metal, if it gets clogged take a paper clip and an alcohol wipe then clean it out, if you need heat use a stove or hairdryer, the preheat setting will burn your pen overtime

OMG thank you! i did not even think you could blow into the vape cartridge. (though in retrospect if there was no air flow you would not be able to pull so). Every time i get a cartridge in a few weeks it gets a jam became so annoying to use.

Depending on how big the clog is, have paper towels ready as blowing into the cart can push the juice out making a mess so you should be able to clean up quick enough if your towel is ready as to not damage your pen.
yah i blew in and it leaked like crazy what should i do its still clooged a bit and all sticky
yea and check connection area, it frequently gets gunked it that when u do this
@@ijobittonu can try again but i would suggested preheating then inhaling. the other one is almost guaranteed to lose oil. my only suggestions are try again, use a hair dryer to heat it n turn it depending where u need the wax n where it is, try again, or try inhale after doing the steps in video
I think my cart wasn't made properly because I noticed the holes where it connects to the battery are lower than they should be so as I was tightening it I pressed my button it was lighting up as usual and when it turned to the white blinking light I loosened it and then I was able to smoke it will this do anything bad to me like make my chronic pain worse or something

Just a tip, some of the older models batteries don’t have the double tap pre-heat feature and I think this is a lifesaver must have. So you might have to update your battery.

I tried this with my 510 battery and cart on and I blew out of it and the oil from inside just leaked all over the battery. The cart is all glass and the oil just seems to go up the hole where you inhale from which causing hella clogging.
