- So recently vape carts have been getting worse and worse, to the point where im saying vape carts are bad. I know vape carts can be good, but right now it's just getting a bit too much.

I review terps for carts. I can pretty much assure you 90% of carts have added terps whether it says "live resin" or not. The packaging must specifically say "no added terpenes". Terps extracted from harvest are noted as "live resin terpenes" which gives companies the ability to market their product as "live resin" (i.e. virtually every cannabinoid alternative brand)The cart you loved so much 7 years ago more than likely had added terps that was just a good blend. There are tons of terp companies with all sorts of terrible flavors, but there are plenty that have flavors people would be convinced they weren't added. This has been going on with carts almost since their inception. The main problem is there has been a boom of fly by night terp companies that throw a handful of the more common terps together and labeling it for a strain when half or more of the terpenes needed to replicate the strain are missing.

Carts just make me completely addicted cos of the convenience, its so much easier to control your usage if u stick to flower. They fuck ur tolerance aswell
When I’m at home chilling I’d always prefer proper bud, better flavour by far and also effects but when out and about or travelling, vape carts are just too useful to not have.

That’s why I stick to the Rosin disposable like you said, I didn’t mind smoking distillate years ago, but once you try real live resin or a live rosin cart. There’s no turning back Its mostly disposables where I’m at. There’s still the 510 carts. But mainly distillate you do have your live resin, which are saturated now they’re basically distillate with live resin terps. I just stick to the rosin disposables and there’s so many companies doing the rosin disposables.

Love that I live in Cali and I have had the opportunity to try some of the best carts. By far my favorite cart right now is Coldfire extracts, the effects and terps are crazy good especially since they are collaborating with some of the best growers in Cali

@@adambendavid6766you have to have a low setting pen apparently, like 2.8 . The lowest setting on my pen was like 3.2 or 3.4, they would only last Me a day or 2

carts are so hit or miss. i found myself some resin carts that are perfect for me tho, I rarely touch bud nowadays. but once you find the perfect cart, you can never settle for less

What dya think about FSHO? i got some in usa to refill my vape pen and it had a decent and not overbearing flavour.. more weedy and earthy than the super sweet stuff that gets stuck on my lips.. grosses me out
I had a VerticalBoyz Weddin cake live resin pen and it was alright definitely agree with you that 90% of the carts you are going to find don't taste good or as you said it doesn't hit that spot.
Therefore I am done with Carts.
I always make my own carts. I start with live resin. I start by decarboxolating the resin, letting it heat at 250 until all bubbles stop,even the tiniest of bubbles, add a bit of liquidizer, (I use Little Yellow Bus Honey Liquidizer, and then proceed to fill my cartridges. I save a ton of money making my own. I like it because I can make 20 at a time or just one or two. Thanks for another great video!

What 'fake' terps are decent flavour wise?
Im making extracts with trim and its lacking flavour. For smoking not retail so dont mind paying a bit more for a premium product.

Bless your heart I've never had anything but terps added distillate. If flower ain't enough stick with the resin. I use the whole plants for health reasons. Been taking 56 years and growing 20. Good luck.

I am the same way. Carts get you baked. But some of us aren't smoking just to get baked. Some of us like the flavor, the way it makes your head feel and lungs open up. Carts will never have the full medicinal smoke that flower has. All of those natural compounds have an effect on our respiratory system that know distilled product will mimic.
I recently had STIIIZY live rosin carts at their grand opening in Barstow CA and they were strong as fuck. Delicious as fuck. But I still ended up going straight to the bud I picked up when I got home and left the carts in my drawer.
Carts aren't cannabis. Plain and simple. Never will be. Idc what anyone says.

I've only ever made a few carts and I've always used bho with either Wax Liquidiser or a mix of PG and VG

Had same plug from DNM for years, 23 for a 1ml cart and I go through two a week & that would be with two days off. Quality is what it is, it is distillate with some terps. Just too cheap, fear of getting rugged by a new plug. Thanks for reminding me there's better

All 'Weed' Carts are Bad News. 'Weed' is Fat Soluble and not Water Soluble. That 'Juice' in the Cart is basically a 'Degreaser' that is holding the 'Weed' 'Oil' in a Suspension.

Drew, distillate is 90-95% THC and live resin is about 60-95% so how you would rather want that?
I mean I understand if they taste better but for me I struggle to get high on live resin bc it’s not the same but that’s a personal opinion

I see hash rosin carts that are half distillate. Best of both worlds. The terpenes are there for entourage effect and it has the intense high of distillate.

Just running out people’s business, been getting some proper nice ones recently, agree though about most being dist with terps, had a live rosin one from pink runtz the other day and just got hella clogged
i've recently tried hhc vapes and im legit scared that theres tomething weird in them. Been getting strange side effect. like runny nose, sneezes like every time i take a hit, bad stomach aches, headache and cold sweats. Just overall a sickness feeling. im never touching hhc vapes again.

For me personally, the buds here in Australia are so hit and miss that as long as it gets me high, it's good in my books. For the past few days I've had to smoke on the shittest buds that barely even get me cooked, taste like nothing good, and just aren't good in pretty much any way, so I'd be frothing if somebody gave me a 'shit' cart as long as it got me cooked.
Australia really has it bad in the weed game. It's all home grown, maybe 5% is imported but it's hard to get your hands on it and is expensive as fuck, and half of the homegrown shit is sprayed with round-up to maximize profits.
I can't wait for Australia to finally legalize weed, which I think it's a matter of when, not if. When that finally happens, I'm going to be trying a new strain every time I get buds until I find one that I really like. Legit the only weed I've been able to get here that has stuck in my mind is an Orange Sherbert strain (I think? It was something with Orange in the name) because it actually tasted like what was in the name, it tasted citrusy and got me well cooked, whereass all the other strains I've tried have rarely ever had any good flavour to them.
It's similar in rural parts of the UK it's all from someones shed it's shit I hate it

Live rosin disposables are the way to go. Not legal in WI yet, so upper Michigan has some pretty good stuff! I have to agree drew, I don't use Carts anymore for the exact same reason. Unless it's live rosin.

I’ve never liked the vapes & never really used one cos i found it harsh when i tried a few. I also have read alot of questionable stuff on vapes and the fluids they mix with the terps, i mean you arent meant to have too many terps cos it isnt good for you, you end up getting messed over by people who only want to see profits.
In Florida my favorite carts are ceramic carts with live rosin in them but the more economic options are live resin carts with c cell

My fave carts in Illinois are cresco live resin and aeriz rosin but they are $60-70 for a HALF gram so yeah I get the occasional distillate for at work lol

Agree, distillate with terps may do the job and get you high. But it just feels dirty. Makes you cough up a lung. Tastes horrible. I’ve completely stopped carts 6 months ago and I feel much better for it.

@RollinH You make a good point. But im lucky and live in the states and get live resin carts from a reputable lab that is well known for producing live resin carts and other types of carts. You got to be careful with all the fraud out there I totally agree. You only live once.

These young kids don't know where the vape cart plays it's role, I recommend not just using a cart but only use the cart when you can't use your preferred method of getting high. carts are not my favorite either and it's not about the flavor it's about the %thc not cbd% so sounds to me like this guy just needs to find what roles the cart has in his life. I'm not picky about what I smoke if it gets me high but usually smoking gives me a much better high than carts. My first and only *really* bad high was off a cart.
People seem incable of measuring the correct amount of terps for the distillate but agreed I can remember a friend paying about £800 for some terps serious money for such a small amount
You need to fill carts with your own live resin that is the best way to get real and good terps
Tom an jerry extract ones are always decent especially the g pod ones over the ccell ones but they’ve all been good
you can still get the ecig oil/ thc oil but its full of spice nowadays

If you want a good cart make sure you know what’s in the liquidizer or terps. You don’t want vitamin e acetate, Mct oils, or pg/vg. When vaping bad liquidizers it can create formaldehyde a cancer causing chemical. It’s better to just buy a little wax pen to do your concentrates out of. If you looking for a good concentrate pen look into the puffco plus. Nothing will taste better than some nice solvent-less rosin.
Cbc and cannabis derived terpenes are the only things you should add to liquefy it 💯
