flower will always have a higher quality high but carts are just so convenient to have. Carts require batteries to be charged but flower requires a lighter or a dry herb vape. I think that flower wins 100% of the time but carts are always nice to have in a pinch especially if I want a quick high that doesn't have me couch locked for hours on end.

i find that with bud if your tolerance gets high you still can always get a good high off the zaza, with carts your tolerance gets high faster then you have to hit that bih like 50 times and the high doesnt even last as long if at all after awhile, bud is definitely and always be superior

100% agree I used to have Psychosis and paranoid thoughts like "people thinking about me talking about me etc. Very odd behavior after getting off Adderall from 7-16. Antidepressants at 18-29. 31 now. I took way to much, but took about 20g of Gold caps (Psilocybin containing mushroom) I analyzed my entire life. The emotions that came out helped me understand behavior etc more. Wont ever need to do it again because I'm happy and contempt forever, but I wish more people did this to alter their perception of reality. Would help with healing much trauma

A cart high is strong, but never feels the same as the full spectrum of cannabinoids you get from zaza. It’s still getting you high and it’s still fun, but sometimes it just doesn’t feel the same.
I love zaza but honestly I prefer carts because they last longer, it’s easier to use and you don’t have to do that whole prep process (I’m lazy af), they don’t smell and they’re better for travel it’s easier to carry around and you don’t need all the tools or whateve

I live in LA & there's a Kush store three blocks from my house, but I can't function alone on weed. I wish they sold psilocybin gummies. I'm a little depressed & a little anxious on a regular basis. I’ve been researching on psychedelics and it’s benefits to individuals dealing with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and from my findings, they really work and I’ve been eager to get some for a while but its been difficult to get my hands on them.
The Trips I've been having really helped me a lot. I’m now able to meditate and I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well

Overall, carts AND concentrates are better because of smell and convenience. With za you either smell like it or take EVEN more time to not smell like it, after already taking forever to consume it. However, I think this is for my fellow active lifestyle stoners!

As a person with ADHD (I dont take medication), I've smoked weed for a few years now, but I've never been tired because of it. People talk about being glued to the couch, but I could smoke like 5 bong rips and be playing FPS games like normal. Even when I ate magic mushrooms, It made me super energetic, like hyperaware as hell, like i'd taken adrenaline or something. Weird but cool.
For anyone wondering more differences, whether they’re pros or cons are up to you.

-High lasts longer 2-4hours
-More mellow of a high
-is actually healthier to smoke
-easier to gauge if you’re taking too much
Cart:
-short high 30-60mins usually
-intense high
-is worse for your lungs as it has been associated with many many complications that develop much faster than za smoking

Here's a hack I like to use with carts. Once your done eating, take a hit off your cart, not to big, but not to small either, (Unless your tolerance is low, then just clip it) so you can keep the high going after you eat.

I partially use carts more since my boyfriend can't stand the smell of the flower. When I get the chance to though, I like to sit on the back patio with a wizard pipe full and smoking.
So far my experience is that carts are more convenient, scent free, but are not nearly as good in terms of the high itself. I also just appreciate the process/ritual of getting a bowl or joint ready.

Being someone who’s in a high school where everyone rips carts I can’t stress enough that you shouldn’t count counterfeits as something against them on this list. As someone in the medical marijuana industry, there is only two good reasons why someone would pick a cart over actual bud: convenience and terpene/cannabinoid sensitivity. Carts are good on the go, in private, and in public, plus they have select terpenes if you're using distillate over live resin, so you can avoid unwanted side effects if you're strain sensitive. Flower, in every other category, is marginally better both for medicinal purposes and for recreational purposes.

Cart potency is a Double-edged sword, like if you know the potency of your cart and how your body reacts to it, you can have a fantastic time.
But if you underestimate your cart and take too many hits, it’ll make you pay. I’ve also had experiences where I thought “Okay, I did 4-5 hits last time, and it was great, I’ll just do that this time”, and all of a sudden the anxiety just got me, I was shaking like a Chihuahua man I ain’t gonna lie.
Tbh I prefer the Za, but I think Carts have their place in the right setting. Oddly enough I do better with carts if I take edibles first, I guess the Eddies calm my body down and the cart enhances the Peak.
But yeah, that’s just my experience, your mileage may vary.

You get the terps from the specific strain in the zaza. However if there are strain specific terps in carts, they’re gonna be pricey and have the terps as their selling point. Despite you being able to get the same terps from a cheap pack of za.

personally i think it depends on the kind of cart. I will always choose bud if possible but they got some fire carts out there. If you getting carts with added terps it'll never be as good as bud, but live resin or fullspectrum carts are gas. Bud obviously will always be better cuz the strains have a lot more than just thc and terps which live resin could achieve partially. Carts good for discretion like work or if you don't wanna smell, bud good for a chill night/day at home or with friends.
