How to take apart disposable vape pen

- Have trouble with your battery dying and you can't smoke the rest of your portable vape pen?
In this video I show how easy it can be to get some of these units apart.
Tools:
X2 - Lineman pliers
X1 - Rigid poker tool of some sort
Mine was that easy😁
Warning: Some units are sealed into place and can be very hard to remove from housing. I got lucky with this one. I had one pen in the past that was impossible to get out no matter how much force. Used a steel rod againsta concrete floor and near full body weight and the capsul would not move either direction. Be careful not to hurt yourself if the unit is very stuck.
UNKNOWN as to what brand this pen is. Got it from a friend that's got a guy that knows a guy XD. Took apart two and the rosin was very runny in both pens😉. Some might be a little thicker and trickier to salvage.
Rosin can be used to smoke on with a dab rig. This is what I would be doing for the most pure smoke. Or... Roll in a paper with tobacco leaf. Hot knives. Drop on the end of a lit cigarette. Get creative.
Careful not to smoke any plastic yalls.

Right on. I constantly had a problem with it.
I remember for was ever really super clogged and you still had battery left. Leave it on a heat source like a radiator or stick it in your car, air vent and crank the heat a few minutes or grab a hair dryer and be careful not to melt it.
But yeah, glad it helped. That's funny. Awesome!

Next time you pick one up and used it play around like he did after you get your moneys worth. Can’t hurt if you already use the product after it’s done grab two pairs of pliers, a pair of vise grips and a pair of pliers or a bench vise if you have one and a pair of decent pliers, that’s what I’m about to do because they’re cheap carts and there’s a table top vaporizer that has 510 threads to use carts I want to buy lol

How do I take apart a blu disposable vape pen . I know how to remove the small cover for the disposable pen and I can see the battery and wire. Can i use tweezers or sissors? Or do I have to use a wire cutter. My pen is same as urs. I need to get rid of the used vape pen

So, I have this exxus plus vv pen that was a problem from the jump. Recently the heating component straight broke off exposing severed teeny white and black wires. Probably shoddy assembly; like I mentioned, the thing was inconsistent. Anyways, the company honored the warranty, yada yada, and now I have the busted pen available for disassembly.
Full disclosure, I am entirely self taught in the arena of batteries and what not, although I do have some educational background in accident prevention and safety. That said, I went ahead and powered it off by pushing the button x times until the light went out and proceeded to extract the circuit board. I was kind of hoping I could re-solder the wires and salvage it on account of the replacement pen is an earlier model lacking the bonus charging port....
long story short....when one of the other wires (black or red- not sure which) from the circuit board to the battery snapped and (maybe touched the inside of the pen?) I saw a spark, it got warm, and now the pen is in a popcorn tin on the porch while I try to figure out what happened and weigh my options. Any thoughts? Can these wires not be messed with?

Hey! I have a big boy disposable rechargeable vape, it was working fine then it fell off my bed and the vapor stopped coming out when I hit it- yet the light still turns on when I inhale as if it’s working. Can you show how to take that apart if you have the chance?
Not sure how expensive the unit is. With a unit like that. It might be toast. I try not to mess around with the batteries too much.

Mine keep getting clogged after only a few uses. Freaking frustrating.
Yeah, a lot of the time. There is wheezing and pretty sure barometric pressure changes in the atmosphere cause it to bleed through sometimes too. Kind of like cabin air pressure on planes inside the fuselage.
I find if you get a good clog and you see where it's clogging. (sometimes it's oozing out the bottom of tank) couldn't hurt to go to Dollarama and buy a tiny bottle of alcohol spray. Alcohol spray really helps break down the oils and make it so you can wipe it away.
If the unit looks pretty clean then just try warming up the unit. Put it on a radiator or hot air vent or hair dryer. You don't want to overheat the unit, so just warm it until you can get a pull off of it. I find that works best and helps clear the clogs. A lot of the times it is just some of the rosin covering the whole. Warming the unit up helps dislodge the clog.

Yeah well one of the things that you don’t mention in your video is that when you go to push to add battery I would on the newer updated pens if you push it out with something metal and you cross the circuit the thing will explode
Yes, definitely don't want to disrupt the casing of the battery. When the exposed battery makes contact with the metallic sidewall of the unit it complete a current (is what I've been told) , causing the battery to heat up from the leaky current and apparently that's how they can ignite.
That is worst case scenario. I don't know if a lower voltage battery on a little tiny vape pen is strong enough to cause that kind of reaction. That being said, like I said I do not know.
Definitely good to be cautious and safe when dealing with batteries. Always be safe around batteries.
Especially disposing of them. Try not to throw batteries in the garbage. Toxic for the landfill is what I hear.
And always contact your local propane salesman for information on safe handling procedures for propane and propane accessories.

I wouldn't know how to go about doing that properly... I have limited knowledge on batteries. I know some batteries cannot be charged (ie. buying rechargable AA batteries vs non rechargeable). Would not recommend unless you know you batteries, voltages, amps, input and output limits...

Hank Hill I do it to vapes and I don’t know a thing about volts and amps. The battery’s are 250mah so they don’t shock u at all but they might explode I’ve had that happen ones. I’m fine btw
