My dad and I are finishing up a 1969 F100 with this same engine, can’t wait to get it cranked up and see how it sounds! Should have some good twist to it once it hits the road, the torque/torque curve is pretty sweet on this engine.
Awesome! I'm still working on this one. Wiring an '86 F150 with a/c and the Holley Sniper FI with electric fans has become a challenge. Tech support lines are practically no help. It's been a circle jerk for sure. When you think you have everything, something else is needed. No one tells you that you need a trinary switch, a diode, a safety switch, additional relays, and adapters to make it all work. The only tech guy I've talked to who seemed to know what he was doing was at Vintage Air. And it's funny he seemed to know just as much about the Sniper as Holley did. The truck is all factory a/c, which requires those parts to keep the system from blowing. Good luck with your build!
Very nice. Plan on ordering mine for my 84' S10 blazer. Just wondering if they will install a stud girdle for me. Since they hone and balance and all that right of the bat.
So I've heard Blueprint under sells their horsepower rating which is a good thing. This same part number engine says 450 hp and 470 lb/ft. Is that the case here? Is this the same engine on their website right now? If so, those are awesome numbers for the money.
this is a nice video of two boys playing with their toys in the garage
the boy was cracking me up.
Yeah, he cracks me up also. Thinking about making him his own channel.

Did you go with the rear or front sump oil pan? Did you have any trouble with oil pan clearance?

It's about ready to go in. Had to wait for the headers and cooling system to arrive. Yes, until it breaks, it will be the original trans, lol.
