Nothing better than a brand-new engine for the project truck......................👍
You got that right! Haha
I'm first in line for the short videos! Have a super weekend !!! (everyone!)
Thanks you too!
that's a sweet crate engine .
I think so too! Really happy with it so far.
The numbers sound pretty good on that crate engine. I don't think you'll have a problem with the transmission as long as your not slamming gears from traffic light to traffic light. You could always install a Doug Nash 5 speed.
Yeah I agree. We’ll see how long it goes. This truck has been gone thru bumper to Bumper. Only things left, trans and rear end.
Those are excellent numbers, Jimmy. Don’t forget, it’s against the law if you don’t exercise the horses weekly.
Haha very true! Thanks
Thanks for the video Jimmy!
You bet! Thanks for the support!
I bought one of their 383's back in the mid 2000's and every time I did a full throttle acceleration the oil pressure would go to zero. They replaced the engine and it did the exact same thing plus a lifter wiped out. I returned the engine and got a HT383 GM crate engine and didn't have that problem. Come to find out the Blueprint 383 didn't have a windage tray and the HT383 came with one. Hopefully they have rectified that problem.
Yeah hopefully. The GM crate engine was my first choice but said discontinued or out of stock everywhere we checked.
It would be easy to add a windage tray kit if it’s needed. Usually costs power and not oil pressure though. Interesting.
very nice!!
Thanks! Hope you’re having a great weekend!
jimmy. i think i have seen this but i watched it again 🪛🔩🔧👍
Awesome, thanks Alex!
