I always feel so nostalgic when I see a 747. I worked them when I was on the ground crew for Northwest Airlines at DTW. In those days they flew to NRT instead of HND. Thank you for the memories. Hugs.
I remember the good old days with United, Delta and JAL 747s at NRT. I was a bit too young to remember seeing Northwest LOL
Great video, Jayden! It's so nice you were able to fly the re-inaugural flight on the 747. That is my favorite plane, but it's getting much harder to fly on one. Too bad you didn't have time for the lounge in ICN. Glad the dinner inflight was good. Thank you for the Takamatsu vlog. It was nice to see it again. I had udon on the market street you showed and it was amazingly good! It was really cheap too! I'll definitely have to get back there some time.

The ground staff checks the BP and pspt so thoroughly! 😂 Happy to see technology being used by the cabin crew during boarding. I am DEEPLY disturbed by airlines who removed the need to check BP by cabin crew. 😣 Really love the VOML you ordered. It looks so appetising and pleasing to the eyes! 👍

I find it very interesting how much the Sydney - Seoul route has grown. For years it was between Asiana and Korean Air now Qantas, Jetstar and Tway fly the route.

I miss the 747. Such an iconic plane. Probably in 2025, I'll try to fly Lufthansa's when I go to Germany. Also that man at the gate scrutinizing your passport and boarding pass took a really long time

haha don't think it'll be a problem, I've used my UK passport for 5 years now, 5 more to go, used way less than half. I don't get stamps anymore for Australia and most recently the US :)

It is. Korean Air had collab with SuperM (SM group made up of members of SHINEE, EXO, and NCT) for their safety video a while back. They even painted a 777 in a SuperM livery. There is a Blackpink 777 now as well....

Nice video. Very solid hard product on the Korean Air 747. Flew with Lufthansa 747 from YYZ to FRA in business class last year. On Lufthansa there is luckily still plenty of opportunity to fly onboard the 747. Regards:)

I use iMovie on my MacBook, it's free and pre-installed. I use my iPhone to film :)

Good video. I like that airline and its catering - but thought they should have delayed breakfast by half an hour or so.
I agree, I think the 'problem' is that the breakfast was also a full service (with full bar service) hence they had to begin earlier. They also seemed to prepare for landing earlier than other carriers too.

Hello again, my friend! This is Guerry from the United States with another hearty THANK-YOU for a most educational and entertaining video. I really enjoyed you sharing with us your visit to Japan, and your 747 flight to Inchon reminded me of the one time I had the privilege to fly on Korean Air.
Do you also speak Japanese? Except for saying, “Please”, “Thank-you very much”, “I’m glad to meet you”, and “Give me a kiss” (all thanks to a Japanese girlfriend I once had), I would totally be lost in Japan. I was most impressed with the workmanship that went into the old castle. All facets of its workmanship appeared to have precise fits, yet it was built using hand tools. Did anyone tell you the reason those people were complaining (demonstrating) in the mall?
Things appeared somewhat differently on your Korean Air flight than they did on mine. Despite the amenities of the inflight entertainment system, the onboard services Korean Air provided me were the best I had ever experienced. Apart from our meals begin serviced on ceramic dinnerware, the stewardesses were so immaculately tailored that they resembled porcelain dolls without a hair out of place. But I imagine services have to be cut among all airlines in order for them to maintain competitive fares. What a shame!
You know I could keep writing about all I gleaned from your post, but I would prefer you spend your time to produce another outstanding video for us to view. Thank-you again sir! Please keep up the good work.
I've been on many 744s but never a 748 - hopefully some time soon. Sooo, not sleepy at 2030 Seoul time ... but you connected from HNL so your body clock should have been at 0130. I guess that's still "night is young" time for our intrepid vlogger 😃

The only problem with Korean Air is that flys from T2 which isn’t as good for shopping restaurants and lounges..Prefer Asiana from T1which I just flew last week Seoul to Sydney in Buisness on their A380 upper deck…Everything was great except the average wait for the toilet was 15 mins ..2 at the front..but at least their is lounge to wait in…Flying back next week on Asiana to Seoul hopefully get to try their A350 Buisness class but depends on plane rotation
I had the same problem on ICN-LAX, also 747-8 but that flight was almost full. But having to wait for that long in business class sucks!
Good evening Jayden from EWR/JFK area and buy the way the Korean AIr B747-8 files to JFK as KE085/086. How did you like this trip and for the Jumbo jet from NYC this connects to KE621 to MNL. I wonder if you're willing to take 6'4" on PR or not? You're traveling companion 6'4"would have also enjoyed Korean Air because of the seat pitch being 30-34in in Economy class. For me and my brother if we were to do Prestige class on the B747-8B5 one of us will have to get the aisle or the window. 5:33 HL-7533 flew on it as KE621 ICN-MNL.
