Thanks for the video.... Ive used Mighty Text on my computer for 10+ years and has a fair number of issues. This works great! Super easy to setup! THANK YOU AGAIN!
I've been using the web browser (work computer) and the app (personal Chromebook) for years and love it. Much faster and convenient texting using the computer keyboard.
@@soundofthegardenwatc when using your phone, it is possible to schedule messages but this feature is not available using the google web version or the google chrome extension.
I paired it with my Windows NB and I'm using MS Edge, I was able to add messenger to the sidebar and when I click on it, it comes up in a column on the right side of my screen--awesome. Thanks for pointing out messenger's pairing capabilities.
This is very good but one thing missing. How do you turn it off and un-pair the two, like you share the computer with other people and don't want them necessarily reading all your messages? For instance, like you don't want your kids reading your work texts. How can you turn it off? But maybe in a way that you can turn it back on again when you need it.
Have a problem. Set up OK using Safari on MacBook Pro and getting incoming SMS on my phone (S s23) shows on my Mac, but sending message from my computer isn't working. Went to Chrome to get "install message option" but doesn't show when clicking on three dots (or hamburger). Suggestions?
WOW. I learned something new today. Thx

Thank you!! I was trying to make out a video on the phone screen and it was too little. So much easier to see on a full sized screen!!
You're welcome!! All the best with this new tip.

EXCELLENT tutorial! I tried figuring this out via web search and, after 30 minutes or so, just couldn't do it. You got me set up in under 5 mins!
You're welcome! So glad that I could help you out, Jeff.
This is only for Android users, wish I knew before I tried to figure it out for 15 minutes

BTW, I was able to pair with my iPad as well so both my NB and iPad work with Messenger.
Never knew this existed. Great!

Make sure you are using the Google Messages app and not another app called Messages (i.e. Samsung phones have an app just called Messages).
I added google messages and I still don't see the little hamburger menu on the top left of the screen or on any part of the screen, now what?

This allows google to MONITOR all your text messages.
