I appreciate your attention to detail Chris.............My friend John will be replacing my interior of my 56 oval with your guidance.........You Rock my friend.
Very nicely done Chris! Getting ready to install new headliner in my 62 and this video helps ALOT. You answered alot of the questions and concerns that I needed before attempting this job. Keep up the great videos!
Your videos completely help in every way ... question my headliner I purchased from tmi, I believe it's a one piece? Vinyl perforated do those work with the grippers at the back around the back window? Thanks for your time. Nick... 58 bug sedan
Hey Chris, I have a 1956 bug I’m restoring and it has no headliner grips anywhere on the car nothing on the door posts , no sign of them ever being removed interior is original paint . did they offer these cars without the full cloth or vinyl?
Hi Chris! at 0.54 i don´t have the Strip at my TMI cloth roof. it´s a 1956 bug i have. Is that a problem or should i just stick it down in the grippers and holt it in Place and smash the grippers to lock the roof ? Kind Rangers Erik.
VwErik88 Ahhh, TMI stuff! Yeah you can hold it in place and bang the grippers down, but I would glue a strip of card board to that angle of the headliner to get a nice straight line.

Yes you might have a standard model, no bling bug.
What do you use to cleanse up over spray if any gets on the paint that won’t damage the finish?
for the glue? WD-40.
on the tucks is the material glued to itself though
what's the name of this material I have a 65 bug and I want to use this material looks great

How long do you have before that spray sets, to where it's too late to remove it?
You actually have some time, I have torn stuff out hours later. It really sets hard in like 12-24 hours.
where do you get those pry tools
link for this interior please?
+Vicente Villarreal 65s do not get multi-piece headliners.
