Carnivore is very stainable-that is so true !!! 💯💯💯 I find I read labels on EVERYTHING now also !!! 🧐🧐🧐 I am shocked at all the hidden sugars and seed oils … it’s insane!!! 😝😝😝
My son has often made fun of my transition from many carbs to zero carbs, even though I lost about 45 pounds and look much younger and more healthy. He’s able to eat high carbs and processed foods now, being he’s 24 years old. Still, that’ll eventually catch up to him. The standard American diet has enslaved many people.
It’s true about the alcohol desire and other bad habits desires just fading away when you heal your body from the inside out. Social pressures are an issue with people on keto/carnivore. We do know the facts and can stand our ground. Building our knowledge is so important, you are so right! Crab in a bucket is a great analogy and is so true when we get healthy around others who are not. You articulate these concepts really well. I’m glad I found you, Larry.
It's sad - that our health system is so degraded when it comes to nutrition! My husband was hospitalized about 3 weeks ago (and will be there for a couple months for reconstructive surgery) - and the menus are atrocious! Nearly every meal includes Ensure (which has seed oils and sugar in it!) and the foods are mostly disgusting! The nutritionist is definitely on the "low fat" food model - and I'm guessing part of her directive comes from a nationalized nutrition standard - and it's got to be counter-productive! If you want to increase protein to help with healing - waffles, mashed potatoes with gravy, and overcooked green beans are not going to get you there! Anyway - that's my rant for the day!

Walking home from teaching a free, half term art class to the kids at a local church, listening to you tell the tale of my(our) life. Everything is better and instead of everything being done tomorrow I want everything done yesterday. Going into a new gallery next week and going to be teaching adult painting classes from next month. My life is amazing, glad you're all here for the ride ❤️🥩❤️🥓❤️🥩❤️
Just rewatched this one.... I've noticed EXACTLY the same thing re: cocktails! The desire for that nightly martini, or Lynne's glass of wine just faded! It was a fun ritual - cheese & crackers, a quality alcohol while sitting on the porch just punctuated a great day. I came up with a line spontaneously during a conversation recently re: "Do you 'miss' any food or drinks that you've given up?" - I blurted out "Your body doesn't miss what it doesn't need." I have no scientific proof, but it just sounds right to me. See you @ the MeatUp. Jim T.
It amazed me how Carnivore got rid of my cravings for sweet tastes then alcohol but the best thing was my anxiety left me.(no more waking at 3 am feeling anxious for no reason)🙏I feel calm and even though my husband is battling cancer we are taking one day at a time with🙏and carnivore

14:29. Oh yeah. - the net carb thing. I was always looking for a way to maximize my carb intake by subtracting fiber (and yet, another non- food) .. so happy to not deal with that concept any longer. Really good video. I think one of the main reasons I’ve been finding it easy to stay carnivore is because I’m starting to realize (finally) that a lot of these foods - like plants, vegetables, fruits- have things in it that really do my body no good. Now that I know that, it’s so much easier to say no to these foods. It’s the same way with alcohol too - I enjoy a little bourbon or scotch, but I finally realize exactly what it does to the liver once you’ve had two or three shots- and it isn’t good.. So I’m at the point where I might have one drink, knowing that my body can easily accommodate a little bit of alcohol, but I won’t go beyond that because I know that my body will end up being harmed by that excess amount. Great job Larry. Lotta good info here. - a great GMT subj for a change lol
Thank you for your videos. I look at the Carnivore way of eating as a gift from God Because it's so amazing with what it does and how it heals people, Just like God.
What a great information video!! I wished I could say these things to people and they would be open to listening. Like you said people want to disagree so they can justify their way. Thank you for sharing.
We went to dinner last year for birthdays & anniversary. On one of those occasions, I had an expensive glass of red wine. I didn't finish it. I'm quite frugal, so that was very strange. On another of those occasions, had a vodka on the rocks with 3 limes (natural giblets 😊) I only drank half of it.. it tasted GREAT, but the effects of that was as if just downed 4 potent margaritas!!! I was ripped, and, again, I didn't finish it. Weird. You'll see... Larry's right. You just don't want that drink ... even after having PART of it to test the situation!
Hi was your hair always darker on top of was it more grey like the sides mine was grey allover but it's gone dark on top like yours I'm 61 in a couple of months
It's satisfying to realize that you are living the lifestyle on auto.

Me too - labels are so important now.

100%, every other way you add more food as you go, this is the opposite, you eliminate more as you go.
