Great collab! Frederico is a great down to earth watch content creator who picked some great, beautiful, and non-conventional watches. I also have huge respect for him as a larger man going for his bold and beautiful color choices!!
I think these are great picks. Federico knows his stuff. Breguet, Moser, and Glashütte Original are woefully overlooked. While no longer quite the bargain of years past, Parmigiani Fleurier continues to be overlooked by the mainstream.
Great video and nice to see Federico who I also watch often. Excellent watch picks. Federico made a lot of great points about Breguet I didn’t know. Something to look into.
Great interview. Fed is an amazing resource. One technical thing, for conversational interviews, at least have the chairs facing toward each other. The set up you used looks really stilted.
I currently use a Timex Easy Reader although I still have to get it adjusted to fit my wrist properly. Fascinating content as always. Hope you all are enjoying your Summer.
Really enjoyed this one. Even though it is clearly professionally done, you two just seem like two friends chatting about their hobby. Happy to see more watch content on this channel
This was good. Really good. The only bad thing is I went to check on the price of JLC Reverso watches and saw they've gone up almost 2 Grand in a year.
Really enjoy this segment. Have been a fan of Federico and rarely miss a video and have bought several items from Gentlemen’s. The partnership is a nice mix of excellent brands! Fed killing it with my (future) bespoke jacket.
I think in respect to watch videos from the Gentleman's Gazette, I'd definitely like to see more about matching them with outfits. I enjoy other watch-related channels but very often they just talk about the same steel sports watches and there's little discussion of how they could bring an outfit together. Maybe some outfits based around the Tissot Gentleman or PRX for example? Which dial colours & designs would be most versatile. I'd also appreciate more dress watch videos as I think that would be a good niche for GG on youtube re: watches
Love that you included Federico's outfit rundown! Some of the picks are usual suspects on underrated lists, but Paul Picot is really left field. I'd never heard of this brand before. I'm wondering how relevant some of these picks are to your audience, though, as skeleton Laureatos, GO and Moser are priced in the 5-figures or in the high 5-figures. Great video still, just not as relevant to me as the usual content. Peace!
PRX powermatic 80 in blue owner, im a med student so my budget isn’t very high, but guys please the PRX is an amazing piece and I’m always complimented on it! Even my dad who owns two rolexes wants to buy one 😂
I certainly don't hold it against you to try to get max viewership for your videos, but there are tons of good watch video sources out there, but so few that do a good job with classic men's wear. That being said, this is a good video, and I agree that elegant watches are relatively rare these days with the focus on bling factor which clash with most classic men's wear. While you have posted videos on summer wear, have you evered covered the topic of more casual summer wear, particularly tropical weight clothing? With summer already upon us and temps higher than normal and the tendency for most casual summer wear for men to be relatively awful, would that be something worth doing? If I missed the video on this topic that was previously posted, please let me know. Thanks.

@@gentlemansgazette Thanks I have, but its been a while and I forgot how many good tips it contained. Always curious if there is a way to discern the looseness of the weave in a linen shirt. There are phenomenal German brands to consider like kudoke, Jaeger and benzinger, dornbluth and sohn and Cornehl as well probably one of the best bangs for buckies
Spot on , great taste and knowledge ! I personnally love the Polaris , Glasshutte Seventies ! Breguet Classique with Reserve de Marche for me ! Also love the Omega Aqua Terra ! (Would never buy a Rolex)
Great informative video’ However Ill stick with my circa 1940 rose gold Gruen Curvex’ at 300$ And my circa 1940, White Gold Lord Elgin at 350$ Indeed I prefer smaller cases to compliment my small wrist’ And I prefer self winding watches to the quartz watch’ I would truly enjoy seeing a video on vintage watches- Thank you kindly for sharing
Federico, even if GP laureato has some dacades of production it came after the royal oak, it actually even looks quite similar. Which means in my opinion something like an homage watch.....
@@staceygram5555 At the end of the day most of the watches because of their design are similar. Regarding the sub if I am not wrong the Blancpain Fifty Fathom is a year or so older. Do they look similar? What you think?

I always wondered why Paul Picot never got any respect. I think they should reconsider their pricing strategy and bring their MSRPs closer to market price.
I am subscribed to most watch channels on RUclips including, of course, Federico Talks Watches. Having watched many many RUclips videos from different channels I have a suspicion that Tissot has paid to a lot of watch channels to mention the PRX model. The model is everywhere; being promoted by so called influencers. I hope I’m wrong as I really like Fed and have thought of him as a man with good unbiased and completely independent.
It's a good looking watch and you can get it pretty cheaply. Fed wore one for travel when he visited. What would he gain from being sponsored and not disclosing it?
I mean.... they're at the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to craftsmanship, fit and finish, not to mention price, but sure. In terms of design, I guess there are some similarities.
Navitimer A23322, blue dial, blue strap, is my favorite watch. Also my first 'proper' watch. The one to kick off and, in some sense, dictate the rest of my (small) collection. Also probably the only brand, other than Rolex, that doesn't have any 'bad' collections. Some collections I like more than others, sure, but I don't hate any of them. They've also produced some pretty nice things lately, like the Top Time, the Premier, and the new Superocean. Federico owns an old Chronomat, if I'm not mistaken. Their design was updated not long ago.
A few more "affordable" watches to match your intro would have been nice. In particular, Longines, Cartier, Baume et Mercier, Sinn, or a host of really nice microbrands like Farer, Christopher Ward or AnOrdain. Throwing a Tissot in there as the only real sub-$1000 option is kinda weak. And you can't have a discussion on undervalued quality watches without Grand Seiko in the room.
a slightly more casual, maybe also more modern and in my opinion really well designed option: everything braun designed by dieter rams and dietrich lubs obviously also an option for the smaller budget
Thank you so much for having me. This was possibly the most fun I have had in a colab. It was an amazing trip! Cant wait to visit again!

Love Federico’s pulse on the watch market and his integrity. He also dresses well and looks the part of a successful businessman!
Trying hard to be the one whom he isn’t.
@@tongotongo3143 I do not understand your point. Federico always dresses well on his channel.
That is my point, he does always dress well. Many other watch RUclipsrs dress like they are still in high school or college. Federico is a class act!
