I saw people complaining on another song that Jesse doesnt do fan interactions, put likes and hearts on comments etc. Maybe he is just too busy writing and performing his amazing songs and thats more than we could ask for. He has that perfect relation with his audience, where the songs and his face singing them is all we have to go on. It reminds me of when I was a kid, and thats all we had with the musicians we loved in the 1970s. The day Jesse gets famous, and Jimmy Fallon, Joe Rogan and every other personality gets their hooks in him, we will have lost something rare and amazing. I reckon maybe he is smart enough to stay exactly where he is. Thanks for another great song JW.
Likes, hearts and comments seem pretty anti Jesse. Why engage in the machine that is harming billions when he can just make music that speaks to him and hopefully us. This will all mean nothing soon so why care about it.
What's ironic is that I was VERY intrigued by the new McDonald's cups and started searching for them today while thinking "I just don't care for McDonald's food very much (minus the fries)" and then this song pops up. 😬 I was actually diagnosed with fatty liver disease last year after being homeless for a while and living off of fast food, particularly, McDonald's. I now have a home and have lost 35-40 pounds with little to no fa(s)t food. 🤘🏻
Nothing cooler than getting to hear someone still sing about things that matter to them. Singing lyrics they wrote. With instruments they play. It's fleeting fast, something we all must cling to.
The freakin' PROPHET of our generation!!! I just can't believe how much new QUALITY AF material this kid keeps coming up with. You continue to blow my mind Jesse. THANK YOU SO MUCH !! Keep keeping on, my friend!!
It makes my day when I see he has a new video up. Love em all, just some more than others. He's got a way of articulating what all of us already feel and know. Brilliant guy.

That kapo position gives that Gibson a very refined voice. "It's like fentanyl you can eat." Awesome line. Sad but true is always powerful. Your melodic idee fixee using the mi-fa movement, hanging on that 4 tone imitating the suspension of a leading tone is very effective. A song that is never resolved, because you know you love french fries.
“Cheaper than a home-cooked treat, it’s like Fentanyl you can eat” - what a powerful lyric! I salute you sir! Another masterpiece from Jesse…always managing to produce such concise, powerful insights into this crazy, crazy world with songs of incredible quality. Long may it continue 🤠👍

I am a fast food GM and I’ve been wanting to quit my job. I make enough to pay for my apartment, but I can’t keep my staff happy with their pay and I can’t keep my company happy. They want more production with less than ever…. I’m at a loss
That's the goal, they want to stress every rung on the ladder so the middle-rung bosses either increase efficiency to an inhuman degree without lowering morale, or de-stress by raging at the employees, fostering a narcissistic relationship that emulates a mini-tyranny. They're trying to convert the good bosses into bad bosses when there's only 2 solutions, the middle-rung bosses challenge the logic of the higher ups with all the right backups in place, or the middle-rung bosses step away, allowing a cheaper replacement. My GM went full tyrant and is now using psychological triangulation techniques to turn me and my supervisor against each other, we saw through it. I'm the union steward of a Hilton and I got the employees raises after the Owner refused to compensate and used overly critical assessments to justify "bad workers" who "don't deserve raises", all due to an unjust workload corporate pushed on all tiers. I'm wondering what would happen if the middle-rung bosses suggested to the most honourable, daring, and diligent employee to bring in a union themselves with the understanding that no one would believe them if they told the higher-ups, then the middle-rung boss could open a private channel with the union rep and make deals to bridge the pay/workload gap. It would take someone courageous, but they could do some real ethical spy stuff, and for justice for all and fair pay of all things.
@DelTrig0 I'm sorry you're going through this. It sounds like you're going through a really tough situation. I trust that you're doing your best. It's entirely fair that you'd want to quit instead of going through this. Wish we/I could help in some way
