I'm getting a very good battery backup on my OnePlus 12. Around 8 to 9 hours of Screen on time with 120 HZ and QHD+ Resolution. I'm pretty satisfied with this battery 🔋 performance
What about the camera ?

You will get even more between 10hrs to 12.5hrs+ screen on time if you disable background activity for all applications from the settings, I got 7hrs 48mins screen on time with 50% battery left, I watch movies so I always keep 2k display resolution, adaptive brightness 🔅, Google: "OnePlus 12 battery backup Quora" you will get my article on top

But their batteries degrade very quickly, in 6 months it is no longer the same as the first day, things that most Android devices can do.

Nah tbh, iphone battery has much more capacity than what's written on paper. Just remember mAh isn't the real capacity of a battery. It's actually counted with watt/hour by multiplying rated voltage and mAh. Iphone battery has higher rated voltage than typical android phone battery which is 3.88V while android use 3.7V. In case of iPhone 15 PM vs Galaxy S24 U; they're closer in capacity in Wh
IP 15 PM: 4441mAh * 3.88V = 17.23Wh
G S24 U: 5000mAh * 3.7V = 18.5Wh
As you can see~ the gap actually isn't that significant. That's why iphone battery even tho appears to be smaller is actually closer to their rival

Amazing test but I feel like the brightnesses should be kept to the samt amount because the iphone kept dimming a lot more which is not fair to the other phones
Thought I was the only one that noticed that. Most comparison does that. iPhone usually dim the screen brightness for longer battery especially when it heating up. Not a fair comparison in my opinion.
Honor is truly magical. I have magic5pro and i've never seen a battery this crazy. I just never think about the battery any more.
I just hope they'll step up the software game a little.
I have owned all of these phones except the Xiaomi. My favourite is the honour magic 6 pro followed by the OnePlus 12. I was disappointed with the s24 ultra due to stuttery animations. The pixel 8 pro has even more stuttery animations. Doesn't even support 120hz on some of its own apps. And has a crap battery and super underwhelming soc. The iPhone has that ridiculous notch still. But the magic 6 pro is easily the most underrated phone out right now. it's faster and smoother than any of the others including OnePlus and iPhone. The software experience is different from the other androids which are all the same in reality. I literally cannot pick fault with it.

These big battery phones need to work on their optimization, iPhone should not be keeping up with phones that have around 1000 or more mAh bigger batteries.
The only phone with 1000 or higher mah is honor and apple should learn not to make screen dimming by saving battery life and overheating because otherwise it would have gotten over 60 degrees
Not to black and white. The samsung has higher resolution and a slightly bigger screen than the iPhone it also powers an s pen and has way more going on
@@JoshuaBoodram resolution dosent affect phones unless its something very high as 4k or higher because the gpu of the phones are already well optimised to handle resolutions as 1440p very well without affecting battery
super youre kind of exaggerating a bit because these phones dont have 1000+ mah batteries maybe except oneplus and also honor literally outperformed the iphone by almost 1 hour, also if he added vivo x100 pro to the test im pretty sure that would last as long or even longer than the honor
@@JoshuaBoodram ugh I hate this argument, a slightly higher screen resolution would only matter if both phones rocked around the same mAh size. There’s been test that proved it doesn’t really matter. Two, the S Pen doesn’t take up that much power, most people aren’t using it every time they take out their phone. And last the S24U isn’t doing anything different in this test than the iPhone to warrant a change. If it was doing multi-tasking sure but then the difference would be even larger.
And if resolution was your argument what’s the Honor Magic 6 Pro’s excuse?

I liked this video so much with all the info under each phone throughout the whole video. Please consider adding the weight of the phone under the battery size. Also put the final time on the dead phones when they are flipped down.

Appreciate your hardwork.I think you could have also checked background processes during the process.Because Chinese phones kill background apps to portray better battery life.Real life story is somewhat different.There are occasions which +1000 mah gives better battery but not by much.

Apple should add a vapour chamber as fast as possibe coz i will stick to my new 24ultra unless they do so because last year i used my 14pro max on direct sunlight and it would get so hot, screen would dim and temperature warning would pop up but with the s24 ultra men this phone is a boss even on heavy usage with that antireflective display it does this while running cooler apple fans are realy missing out on what android offers

The one ui 6.1 is the culprit of the over heating. My s23u, didn't overheat with 5.1

you are always enthusiastic whenever i phone wins a test. you should have been over joyed at the performance of honor magic 6 pro. please dont do biased commentary. I know your contetnt in the video itself wasnt biased and you tested them fairly but your worlds were definately under enthusiatic.
I think because at 5600 mAh, the lead should’ve been a lot larger.
The Honor was very disappointing. It has nearly a 30% larger battery than the iPhone but could not beat the iPhone by even an hour. 30% should be over 3h20m! That does not deserve anything other than saying that a bigger battery is obviously better.
@@andyH_England it doesnt m,atter if magic 6 pro has bigger battery or not . its the fact that honor was able to put that battery into the same dimensions as an i phone and provide better battery life. and if this test had been on mobile data then honor would have a lead of more than 2 hours, please check battery drain test from channel lover of tech. its the same thing in all phones, one can argue that i phone only has better performance because it had a head start and secondly it produces its own silicon and (it has a bigger die area that is it has a bigger chip because apple doesnt comercialise the chip and sell it to other vendors so apple can waste more dollars on larger peice of silicon) we can just say because apple uses its own chip which is larger in size than android chips it doesnt count. We jsay apple have used whatever it has in its pocket and provided a better processor. And similarly we can say that honor magic 6 pro has 4nm processor inside so it could have performed way better if it had a 3nm processor inside.(3nm gives almost 10 to 15% more efficiency at the same performance level compared to 4nm) 15% more efficiency would mean honor would have lasted solid 2 hours more in this given test

As a pixel 8 pro user I should say. It takes about a week of using it to get decent battery life out of it.

5600 mhp of battery I am surprised that I have not taken at least one hour of advantage of the iPhone, honor very bad with its optimization, Apple with that battery of that size would take you 13 or 14 hours without problem.

Samsung needs an update for camera usage, to high power consume and temperature. In the other tests playing games, web browsing etc. it was a good temperature and not so much power use.

My S24U when it gets below 10% dies twice as fast as it normally drains. So seems like they ARE FAKING the battery percentage.

S24ultra is still 🔥 👌 11h & 9 min screen on time Thats excellent and 51.3c and didn't give heat warning like the iphone 😂 And xaomi 14pro
It's because Samsung has vapour cooling unlike apple that doesn't have any cooling system also apple screen dimming save a lot of battery meaning it's not a fair test it's also meant to reduce heat so even at over 50 degrees with screen dimming apple is a real shame

The day that the battery explodes on your face due to overheating, you will want your phone to warn you that you should let it cool. I prefer the warning to something serious happening to me.

It had 28% larger battery than the iPhone but did not even get 10% more SOT though the last test was with the camera so maybe give it a bit more credit. But it was no shock, maybe slightly disappointing. Just for the record, if the iPhone had 28% larger battery it would have had another 3hrs SOT (approx).

@@wtvayush 1+ has 1440x3176 = 4.57MP. iphone has 1290x2796 = 3.6MP. battery drain = screen + processing + other. interms of processing 1+ takes 27% more than iphone(4.57-3.6)/3.6 because of high resolution. battery is also larger about 22% more than the iphone. still less efficient but falls well under margin considering the highres display

See this video's are extremely misleading now you might think the iphone won over samsung and others but not true it's only when you start video recording the iphone pulls ahead .This doesn't show that the iphone is better but it's only shows it's extreme efficient at recording video
for eg in pub g the samsung was better so if you play a lot of games no matter iOS efficiency it cannot help the raw power will kick in and will drain ur battery
