I wore No. 22 today. It was a cooler summer day. A welcome reprieve from the heat in NY. I sprayed a little No. 22 on my wrist and neck. It was gorgeous, elegant, and subtle and I felt beautiful wearing it around town. Thank you for introducing No. 22 to me. I never imagined how amazing it would bloom on a warm day.

WOW! I love perfumes and, like many others, have tried and bought an incredible number of perfumes in my life, but CHANEL perfumes are and will always be my favourites. Finally, in 2023, CHANEL opened boutique in Oslo, Norway. I was ecstatic because now we finally have access to shop online. It's also the first time I took the find your LES EXCLUSIFS DE CHANEL test to find out which Chanel I am..my result was no.22. I have never tried this perfume before and was very curious. So I started searching on youtube and that's when I found you and your video about No. 22. Never in my life have I spent more than 3 hours watching a perfume video, but OMG what an enchanting and magical story telling with No. 22, Allure and Gabriell. I got goosebumps. What a beautiful story telling! I'm sold! Although I have tried Allure years ago, as well as love Gabrielle eau de parfum, I just have to order all 3 extraits at once. Thank you so much for this great presentation Dacob of No. 22.. even though I'm over 1 year late

I woke up before I was ready, but knew I was done with sleep. I am having a cup o’ Joe and smelled the No. 22 lingering from last night. I decided to spray Chanel No. 5 EDT on one wrist and Chanel No. 5 EDP on the other wrist. Of course, I love these No. 5s, but with a slight lingering No. 22 underneath, they are even more magnificent. Really magical and am enjoying it so much, I am putting off my morning shower to enjoy the lovely scent and procrastinating by rewatching your lovely tribute to No. 22. Whoa! I have just discovered on the wonderful Raiders of the Lost Scent blog that my No 22 EDT bottle dates from 1977. I cannot believe how incredible it still smells. Those refillable containers are like little perfume time capsule vaults!

I wore 22 EDP when you could still get it in department stores. Oh, how I grieved when it became fancy pancy. My recollection is that they discontinued it, only to have it pop up at as a much more expensive "Les Exclusif". 22 remains one of my favorite fragrances. I love it far more than No. 5. I still have a bit remaining in 20 , (no, more like 30 year old) refillable white and gold atomizer bottle. It is still wearable and smells great!
I have a few of the white refillable atomizers myself. Beauties!

I think no. 22 EDP smells more like I remember no. 5 smelling when I was a child. The current version of no. 5 seems more powdery than my recollection. The no. 5 bath powder and body lotion smell more like no. 22 EDP than no. 5 EDP or EDT.
That is a fair and valid perspective. I feel similarly when smelling the bottle… but as soon as they touch skin, they always seem to stand on their own.
5 makes me feel cozy. 22 elevates my sense of joy. Does that make sense? It’s so late, I’m babbling… 🫠🤭

What I heard in a Chanel Store was that N22 was created to be a better version of N5 and to be more exclusive and only available in the Chanel boutique(s) to Chanel buyers, hence you could say it is the beginning of the 'Les Exclusives'.
Not sure if the statement about N22 being for Garbielle to wear is true, I've never heard/read this.

Love 22 !!! I am thinking to add the extrait but not a dab on girl. I rather spray. Plus how does one travel with those bottles ? Do they leak ? Love the EDP 22 best. My old edt has some earthy sharpness compared to my new EDP . How does extrait compare ?
The ingredients listed are legally required by the EU as they're skin sensitizers. It's part of the INCI. It could have jasmin absolute in there, but that's covered under the "parfum". They'll list the benzyl salicylate which is a component of jasmin absolute (around
But if you check the ingredients list for Coco Mademoiselle L’eau or Coco Mademoiselle new body oil, they clearly list Jasmine extract and rosa centifolia extract. Not other chemical components terms instead of it. In addition they do but not instead of it.

How can I read the year of the fragrance like the day that the batch was made ? I’m purchasing vintage Chanel on eBay and I can’t see what’s the manufacture date on this
A surprise for me but the Gabrielle *Essence sample smells gorgeous on my skin. The next was supposed to be Christmas with Cuir de Russie parfum but the Gabrielle Essenc is already somehow in cart with Tweed Pourpre eyeshadow. It’s just so girly girl and playful.
