I had the Rare Cask batch 2018 and 2019. The 2018 was nothing but regular, below the Mac 12 for me. The 2019 was VERY different, with some sulphur notes but sweeter and older, way better than the 2018. Did anybody noticed the same?
Great video ( but for the SAME price, i could vatt 4 bottles -1 each: Abunadh60% + Farclas(60%)107 + Allachie10yCaskStrength58% + Dronach12y/46% = shake + sit for 2 weeks ... VOILA: i get 4 bottles of the ENTIRE Speyside spectrum of flavours at 56% abv! ! ! )
Love your reviews guys but!!!! I never understand how you review a whisky just after breaking the seal. I find most integrity bottles are a little uptight for the first few days and don’t reveal themselves until 1/3 way into the bottle.
Macallan "Rare cask" "batch". Another "reason" yet for Macallan to "Sell" ridiculously overpriced whisky! I never buy Macallan since they are chill-filtered and most of the times only 40% (43% max). Sad. For me Macallan is R.I.P!

I've had batch #1 and the tasting notes are the same. You need to pour more in the glass.
What are the differences between batches/release date? Which one is the best?

I think it is difficult because macallan 25 very very expensive and rare limited!!

all of Macallan is good... very hard to judge that...
