I don’t know what’s better, the welding tutorial, that shows me some good options,The message to help a brother/Sister who might be lost,or struggling with something in their life.I never stop learning, when you think you are so good that nobody can show you anything, you are are already in a bind.Thank You.
Hey Brother, not only are your videos and tutorials just absolutely amazing, I’ve been fortunate to be welding pipe now for about 30 years, and I know every day that I absolutely do not know everything. But the reason why I am writing this is because your faith, and being a Christian I feel is your strongest quality. Every time I get ready to take a test, or make a critical world, I always asked the good Lord to guide my hands , and give me the knowledge and wisdom to make this weld.I try not to brag and boast, because you know when you do that’s when you mess up. I am humbled and grateful for the skills that God is given me. Just want to say thank you I try not to brag and boast, because you know when you do that’s when you mess up. I am humbled and grateful for the skills that God has given me.
That will help a lot of boiler tube welders who are watching your videos. Please show how he free hand also the other side of the pipe. Thanks for a very helpful videos!
Yall do a great job Teaching and showing people how to do different methods of welding techniques God is great! God bless you for the gift Of knowledge appreciate y’all
Really aspiring to be this good. Want nothing more than to be the best. Practice and hood time is the only way you’re going to do it. Thanks for the tutorial guys
Nice work yall welds look clean and full of quality. And to work with a company and even better a school where the owner is always around talking with the students working with the team is in my opinion a real open door 🚪 work environment!!
25 years ago when the pipe was getting too hot i did really freehand, no touching used the electrode welding gloves, wonder if i could still do it, trembling hands now
Thats a nice looking cap on the last one ......hell all of them were pretty sweet, mans got the skill. Hope he has time to do a video about 2G freehand weave cap pass, much appreciated guys.
I got to admit, I ain’t much of a freehand guy but i got in a bind today on some stainless and had to freehand it. It wasn’t my best looking work. I’ll definitely be trying some of these out tomorrow
Point too far forward and can (not always but sometimes) lose depth of penetration and can spread the puddle out wide making it a bit more difficult to control
Hi guys. I been tig welding some carbon pipe on 2G and my cap just looks saggy, i let it cool and then the first 1" or so looks good and then i will sag again, what method would you recomend Thanks
I suck at this my self but I'm guessing not enough filler,to slow and to much heat. Or possibly going to wide with it but I can stick.. working on Tig so just a guess
I had a very similar problem on freehand weaving a 3" sch 40 2G cap, i found that holding a tight arc and keeping the tungsten angle perpendicular to the pipe with a slight up hill push and not spending much time on the bottom just enough to see it wash over the bevel and then back up and add wire at the top. For me this worked well at 115 amps on 3" sch 40 pipe and i would turn it down 5-10 amps at a time when it was getting hot, it is harder with small pipe coupons they get hot quick good luck with it.
Amen brother. Nice job on the spiritual talk. Well said. Goes hand in hand with climbing to the tippy top of any career. Ethics, principles, skill, devotion, persistence, etc..awesome welds guys. U already know that tho lol
