I've had the Razr Plus since 6/21 and I am loving it. The fold in the middle is hardly noticeable wile using. Yes your finger can feel it but it's not intrusive. The way the screen folds into the hinge is cool. The Motorola is nice to come back to. The camera has the Magic Eraser feature I was missing. Apps on the exterior screen are ok, it is nice to read and send messages without opening the phone. There is a feature called Ready For--- It runs the phones software on your Computer or TV. On the TV the phone turns into a wireless remote with cursor or without. You can actually have multiple apps open on the TV, Netflix on the left and messages on the right, or whatever you like. It's pretty cool. This is also the best fingerprint sensor I've used. Anyway, hope this helps a little. I just can't put it down. I have no issues with battery life either.

For anyone who had a Galaxy flip, which stopped opening fully due to dust in the hinge, the IP52 rating is a massive improvement over Samsungs IPX8. After all: you always have a bit of dust in your pocket, but how often do you dive with your phone?

I'm Def going to buy this phone. Currently have a S22 Ultra....thats now a year and a half old and FUCKING BIG......Moto's aren't the Highest end devices. But, there good enough, and I'm excited to use the phone and to know that it's NOT sticking out of my damn pocket!

ok this actually looks interesting in the entire sea of phones these days. Only thing is, the selfie camera becomes useless if you can take a selfie with the main ones. They should remove it and put the budget on better cameras on the front.
I just don't get all these reviewers completely glossing over the fact that the revived Razr line had a big and very usable outer display from the very first model and also the teardrop folding mechanism that makes the crease less pronounced (I'd even say the crease on my Razr 2019 is even less visible)... It's weird to do a review of this phone and not compare that to the "original" flip-style foldable.
Nice step forward for Moto. I'm still looking for the foldable that really gets rid of the inner screen crease. I don't think anybody has really cracked that yet? Though it's getting better at least. Also, this is a good overview video, thanks!
The crease in Moto is barely noticeable that i almost forget it was there, you can only notice it when you look at the edges Otherwise, you won't even notice it during your use with the phone

Sharpness and resolved detail is not the same thing. The 4k video was great as it didn't over sharp like other phones. I can't undo over sharpening from my iphone. I really hate that.
Although I DO agree with you, The Gen One is NO slouch! I do think that Price probably kept the Gen 2 from being the main processor. I'm currently using a S22 Ultra. I hate to give up that camera, but, I'm not using it that much anyway. This BIG SLAB is taking to much room in my pocket! LOL Cheers!
@@chazrjryour s22 ultra uses the samsung foundry inefficient sd 8 gen 1, this uses the efficient 8+ gen 1 made by TSMC. I'd stay away from the s21 and s22 series because of this.
I'm guessing the flip 5 with have the newer processor, but also cost more. I like the aesthetics of this phone compared to leaked flip 5 imagery, so I went for this.

60 Hz on outside and 120 Hz on inside then invest more into the cameras would have the better decision. But otherwise this is a genuinely compelling offering that makes me feel very optimistic for Motorola for the first time in a long time.

My Oppo Find N2 Flip comes pretty close, although it appears the crease may become more pronounced with use

That outer display, man...😲. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 doesn't compare in that regard, though it is a better foldable in most other areas.
This will be competing with the Flip5 though. Stay tuned.
Flip 5 is coming out in July with same big outer display. It'll also have 8 gen 2, much better camera and battery life.
