I like the flip 5 design better than this but color I like the moto but overall I will choose samsung for its dex and ip rating

@@laxmanndhotre android till now not so matured to give optimised experience in both screen, but it much better than samsung flip as it allows all apps to work on outer screen where as samsung only date time and notifications.

Had my RAZR 2022 since launch and has been the best phone I have had ever. Have this coming on Tuesday and know I will not be disappointed at all.

This phone is better than I would expect from Motorola. The night mode blew my mind.
Motorola was bought out by Lenovo in 2014 and they have been closely working together to turn around the brand image and overall performance of the product they put out. Now Motorola follows the Lenovo brand model of providing customers with high quality products at a reasonable price point! Now the only thing about owning there phones is don't expect to get more than 2 years of OS upgrades, Lenovo prefers stability or bleeding edge software but you do get 3 years of security updates
Finally! After a whole year since the last razr, America gets a new model. Im excited and looking forward to getting this
Just pre ordered this in glacier blue. It releases on the 10th of July here in Australia. I hope it comes straight after that. Im so excited. Havent been this excited for a phone since smartphones first came out.
For anyone who had a Galaxy flip, which stopped opening fully due to dust in the hinge, the IP52 rating is a massive improvement over Samsungs IPX8. After all: you always have a bit of dust in your pocket, but how often do you dive with your phone?
I've been holding on to my Galaxy s20 for a few years now and I've been patiently waiting for a Worthy upgrade. This might be it.
I've had the Razr Plus since 6/21 and I am loving it. The fold in the middle is hardly noticeable wile using. Yes your finger can feel it but it's not intrusive. The way the screen folds into the hinge is cool. The Motorola is nice to come back to. The camera has the Magic Eraser feature I was missing. Apps on the exterior screen are ok, it is nice to read and send messages without opening the phone. There is a feature called Ready For--- It runs the phones software on your Computer or TV. On the TV the phone turns into a wireless remote with cursor or without. You can actually have multiple apps open on the TV, Netflix on the left and messages on the right, or whatever you like. It's pretty cool. This is also the best fingerprint sensor I've used. Anyway, hope this helps a little. I just can't put it down. I have no issues with battery life either.
Is it true that when fully opened it's not 180 degree flat? And does the external screen come with screen protector too like the inside?

The design for me was perfect, it looks absolutely stunning. But spec wise i wish the battery would be much more bigger tho.
Kind of a thing that happens with all of them flip phones as they need to leave empty space in the middle
if you can have access of everyting on the tiny screen, I'm sure it can last 2 days at least with a good use
@@fa14bi-78 Did you not see the battery capacity difference between the base Razr 2023 vs the Razr 40 Ultra??
It's a big enough difference to the point that it almost feels embarrassing.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M With Razr 23 you mean razr 40, that's just 400mah of difference = ≈10%.
And I expect that the 3800mah Ultra is going to last longer than the 4200mah normal one, giving the inefficientcy of the 7gen1.
The battery will get you easily through a day or more 😊
majestic phone...especially with this color. If i ever have the opportunity and money ill buy it.
Entire video was wondering when you will open keyboard on smaller screen, cuz you can type msgs or searching YT, and you didn't show us it's maybe main reason for what smaller display exists, not for playing videos or games, but for mesgs apps yes. Nice review by the way😊😉

If I had $1000 just lying around, I'd sure get this one. My only concern is their track record for software updates.
Motorrala is a branch of Lenovo now and they have promised 4 years of updates so that's quite good

I'm Def going to buy this phone. Currently have a S22 Ultra....thats now a year and a half old and FUCKING BIG......Moto's aren't the Highest end devices. But, there good enough, and I'm excited to use the phone and to know that it's NOT sticking out of my damn pocket!

Hope not. The display lives less before covered in hinge cracks, the repairability is somewhere on the 0 level and repair costs are higher as all components are heavily bound to each other.
It's still not new inventions, so foldabled was kinda a thing already, even before @@lordlopes2424
Around 2:10 into the video, you mention the video camera follows you up and down. How did you get that to work? Mine doesn't do it.

I own this Phone now for a couple of days and i really love it ,the brightness of the screen is amazing. I only can seem to find the toggle to switch the phone to quite or vibration 👀

ok this actually looks interesting in the entire sea of phones these days. Only thing is, the selfie camera becomes useless if you can take a selfie with the main ones. They should remove it and put the budget on better cameras on the front.

Nice step forward for Moto. I'm still looking for the foldable that really gets rid of the inner screen crease. I don't think anybody has really cracked that yet? Though it's getting better at least. Also, this is a good overview video, thanks!
My Oppo Find N2 Flip comes pretty close, although it appears the crease may become more pronounced with use
I'm using the phone now and the crease is very small for how well tight it closes
The crease in Moto is barely noticeable that i almost forget it was there, you can only notice it when you look at the edges
Otherwise, you won't even notice it during your use with the phone
Watching this video on my Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, Viva Magenta color.. this looks like a cool phone 👌🏻 with some good features. I hope people don't crib and complain now!

@@AlejandroP1980s it's really good and I'm a heavy user it Will Surprise you. Because it definitely surprises me everyday. as far a gaming go's That takes a lot out of a battery I only spend a couple of hours a day on games COD asphalt 9 and a tennis game it seems to handle it pretty good
Can you use the rear display as a mirror when using the main camera?

The Thing I Do Not Like About The Rarz 40 Ultra Is That It Does Not Have An IPX8 Rating But What I Like About It Is That It Has A 3.5 Inch Cover Screen And That It Has 8K@30fps Shooting Capability

Question: Is the dial tone separate from the notification sound so that I control raising and lowering the volume, like Samsung, or the ringtone and notifications with one control to lower and raise the volume?
I think so but you can double check in volume settings articles
I'm hearing this camera can't zoom? Is that true? Or does it mean it can only do digital zoom? That would be a major dealbreaker for me.
can update the web for make the search system more easy and friendly ? maybe u can add Chipset search , so we can search a phone with spesific chipset

I wonder what chat apps will/won't be supported. This could be make or break for me, since I want to be able to respond to my common apps via the front panel alone. I'm also curious what the front panel keyboard looks like when responding.
all the reviews I have seen on this. The outer display will be usable to nearly ALL APPS. If that's the case, this is the Phone.

This is what i was looking for in Samsung 6.9 main and big cover screen.
It just need 100 or 200mpix camera with huge periscope moon cam
It would be preety er of the cover screen would not have that black line, instead in colour of the phone, 4me it would look more premium

I just don't get all these reviewers completely glossing over the fact that the revived Razr line had a big and very usable outer display from the very first model and also the teardrop folding mechanism that makes the crease less pronounced (I'd even say the crease on my Razr 2019 is even less visible)... It's weird to do a review of this phone and not compare that to the "original" flip-style foldable.

That outer display, man...😲. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 doesn't compare in that regard, though it is a better foldable in most other areas.
This will be competing with the Flip5 though. Stay tuned.
Flip 5 is coming out in July with same big outer display. It'll also have 8 gen 2, much better camera and battery life.
What is Motorola policy on OS updates?
@Atulya Aman, I have flip 4 right now but will wait for camera improvement to compete with other flagship, like the camera is so bad compared to other flagship phones, so I'll wait this time

Sharpness and resolved detail is not the same thing. The 4k video was great as it didn't over sharp like other phones. I can't undo over sharpening from my iphone. I really hate that.

Im mixed about the cover screen because one of the reasons to buy a flip phone is to protect the screen from falling but now there is another screen you have to worry about

the sensor is on the side not the display so works folded or unfolded
