Always so nice to hear your smiling voice! Love the vase, and YES make a lid for it. Hope your hubby heals well and as soon as possible, for both your sakes. The tulips say Spring is here, and bring happy hopes. :)
Enjoy all your videos whenever you put them out. Would love the drone shots of the tulips. Hopefully that will work out for you. Being the primary caregiver is a hard job and praying for a speedy recovery for your husband. Thanks for all your videos!!!
YOUR BACK..AGAIN!! So glad to see ya'll are getting better.. Having pain and dealing with surgery is no fun. For him or you.. Take heart and take care things will improve. My husband had to take care of me from October to January because I tripped in my craft room and broke my right knee cap into 4 pieces.. Was oh so glad when the surgeon released me in January to begin walking with out aid again... I do not even want to imagine what total hip replacement would be like... Prayers for you both.. Donna Harrington, south Louisiana, U.S.A.
Love the vase, and yes to making a lid with coral!! I'm sorry to hear you and hubby have been going through such a rough stretch. Prayers up that you both get on a path to healing soon 🙏 Sending giant fluffy hugs your way 💕
Great to hear from you. The vase turned out so beautifully. It looks like an artifact from the ocean. Hope your hubby recovers soon. Being a caregiver is the hardest thing in the world. My sister passed away on april 1 from alzheimer's and the toll it took on her husband being her caregiver is so sad. Make sure you take time for yourself.
It really is a lot but the pain in his hip pre operation was almost unbearable, glad that is gone. So sorry to hear about your sister. Alzheimer’s is very hard on the partner and family. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Ann, I sure do appreciate you. I understand what you are going through. My husband too has had medical issues, starting out in 2019 with a brain aneurysm which I was then the bread winner for the family. Then 5 years ago he had an aortic dissection leaving him weak and incapable of many things. I am inspired by your vase(jar). I think I will jump on the band wagon and make myself one for the bathroom. Love you to pieces... Sophronia
Hi there! I learned fluid art and other stuff from you years ago. Have several of your pieces on my wall in my home. I recently got into pottery and am super excited to see your video today!!! Your vase is gorgeous!!! I’m sorry to hear about your husband’s problems and both of your illnesses! It’s difficult to be a caregiver and you both must feel frustrated and stressed. I’m so sorry. Welcome back! ❤❤❤
Clay is so much fun and you can make sooooo many things, I love it. I am making a livingroom necklace soon. I am waiting for my stuff to get here ( today )...Thank you so much ♥♥♥
Hi Annemarie, So nice to see you! Love the vase , a lid would be great. Hope you get your mojo back, I hate when mine takes off. Hope your hubby gets back on his feet soon. Would love to see the flower fields ! Sending Hugs
Aaaw what a challenging few months you’ve had dear Annemarie! Yes! Full hip replacement takes a few weeks to get up and at ‘em again. Hang in there Nicky and you too luv. Being a care giver is not for the faint of heart especially if you’ve got creaky bone issues and muscle complaints too . There’s been a lot of respiratory viruses flying around that take a few months to ditch too. Now ..about that vase.Wow wow wow!! You made me soooo happy finally doing this especially after such challenging times. It is spectacular and your barnacles are superb. Now did you have to hollow out each one at the top? Very labour intensive but probably exactly what you needed. And the colours with patine finish are sooo lovely . I can smell the sea in it ! Your sprigging talents are amazing Annemarie. I loved your other vase you made a few years ago and I’m impressed with them even unpainted. Thanks so much for sharing this and I hope your hubby gets moving soon .The weather’s great for getting outside soon even if it’s in a chair or with a walker. The physiotherapists will be on his case. Sending you great big hugs,Deb. Ps lol! I’m glad I spell checked myself as autocorrect put in vasectomy instead of vase!! 😅 oy! 😘
hahahaha vasectomy, you have me crying here... This was the vase I had in my mind almost 2 years, now the lid with the coral and I think it will be my best piece ever. I am really liking clay, so many things to make out of it. hummmm now if only I had a pottery wheel ...LOL !!!! a few weeks and the hubby can help his self again. The weather here is horrible at the moment so I don`t have that much to do anyway...Thank you and hugs ♥♥♥
Hi Annemarie! So sorry to hear your news, can’t believe what you have to do in the hospital! Not like that here in the states, at least not yet. Don’t understand what a person does if they have no family, would be interesting to hear more. Hope your husband is doing better. I know quite a few people that have had a hip replacement. My sister-in-law was very crabby seems like two weeks then she started getting better and did her exercises. Glad your health is on the mend ❤️🩹. LOVE the vase! Definitely a piece of art! I used to scuba dive so it would look great next to my “finds” from the ocean. Nice to hear your voice and hope you are still dancing!
Yes 2 weeks sounds about right, next Thursday it will be 2 weeks, I do think they help you if your alone, maybe they think a patient likes being helped by family. Hubby does ..going to work on a lid for the vase this week. ❤️❤️❤️
It would also make a unique lamp! Prayers for you and your husband,
Lovely to see you again Annemarie. Wishing your husband a speedy recovery. Love the vase!
