Good to know! Thanks for sharing, I’ll certainly be bearing this in mind for future videos. I’m glad you were still able to get something from it though! 🙂
It’s lovely to have you here! I love it too, it’s a bit magical, teasing images out of the ink 😍 There will definitely be more printmaking videos coming in the future! 💛
Thanks so much! It’s such a satisfying process, I love that there are so many ways to create with it 🙂 I haven’t tried a gel plate before but I’d really like to!💛
@@GemmaThePen A gel plate became very addictive to me because you never know what your going to end up with a lot of times.. but it's very relaxing just letting go with colours and shapes 😁but your work is wonderful so thanks again and I shall be using your great tips on it 💗
Ooh the surprises are one of the best bits about printmaking, so good! I definitely need to have a go at a gel plate soon, it sounds really great. And I love when a process is relaxing too, definite win-win 👏 thanks so much! 💛
As acrylic is so fast-drying it can be a bit tricky, but if you can mix in a good dollop of retarder/extender medium then there are possibilities. It’s very much trial and error to get the right consistency, but experimenting can be fun! Keep in mind, if the paint design dries on the surface then it won’t transfer to paper and may be a pain to clean off too. That’s why I stick to block printing ink as I don’t have to worry about the drying time so much ☺️
Thank you ! I also found the music too loud for my tastes, and distracting, but I did enjoy your video (and learned from it !)

Can you use acrylic paint?

I recommend no music... its too moody, while trying to learn.
Thanks for sharing your feedback, I am still figuring out what works and what doesn’t, so I appreciate your point 👍
Get rid of the music.
