    Moazzam, Malayalam is the language spoken in Kerala. Language is not Kerala 😊. I am a Malyali born and raised in Delhi. That dhol is called Chenda. One of the main instruments used in all major functions.

    You have to come to thrissur pooram to see 100s of drums(Its called "Chenda" in malayalam).You can see 100 elephants with all kinds of temple instruments to feel good vibe.

    Loved the fact that the bride also accompanied the groom to perform this act. In many cases, the bride mostly blushes and do not perform.

    This is normally done in South Indian temples during festivals. The drum beat makes everyone who is hearing nostalgic as can be observed in this video.
    The musical instrument is called cymbals, they come in various sizes.

      Its not cymbol thats use in it , its called Thaalam in Shinkari Melam , this is not normally done south indian , you can see it only kerala or other place that living kerala people by gathering.

    It's not tribal instrument it's known as chenda it's Jack fruits wood and cows skin in Kerala there are so many classical band like this this is known as a sinkarimelam it's feel like lasyam which means attraction
    Next is thayambaka it's very most powerful style its five time beat unbelievable
    Next is very sweet like dolby style its known as panchavadyam including there are five music instrument
    This are the classic system only

    It's called Chende in Kannada and Tulu and it's played in the Temples of Coastal Karnataka and it actually originated in Tulunadu or Northern Kerala and it's called Singari instead of Mela in Karnataka

    It is interesting how you term it as "tribal". Music and dance has been and will be an integral part of Hindu culture. If you want to see traditional drums in India look for the ones in Bengal, Karnataka, andhra, Kerala, Rajasthan, tamil nadu and others. I can recommend videos to you if you are interested. However, don't denigrate a culture that is 50x older than your pathetic country by calling it tribal.
