I always felt bad for Bella’s dad. He was a really good guy and honestly a good dad. He puts up with literally the worst things a father with a teenage daughter could imagine. And throughout the whole series her dad is always trying to connect with her. He’s seriously the unsung hero of the whole thing. In my opinion.

I fully admit my love for it is cringe but that's because 12 to 16 year old me was also hella cringe 😂 it's fun to see where you were and where you are now in how you watch the film.

So fun fact about our boy Robert Pattinson, apparently he really likes climbing trees. That’s why there’s that weird tree scene in here and even in Harry Potter, what’s Cedric doing when you first see him? He drops down from a tree. All Robert’s idea apparently.

Fun fact: forks is a real place in Washington & every year they do a twilight festival. this franchise actually saved the town financially because now they get more visitors. Also Bella’s home is on airbnb, the owners tried keeping Bella’s room the same as the movies 😂
@@kathleenclark815 oh yeah that’s right. The first one, majority of scenes was in Washington like the school, diner, beach, etc. The rest of the films was scattered in different locations. However that doesn’t take away from forks Washington tourists attraction BECAUSE of twilight.
they filmed in my home town and even shown a full view of the mountain our town is named from! we saw the filming crews around and even tried to look for a location they were on at some point lmao

I used to work at a cosmetics store and we were encouraged to use and wear the products and one was a shimmer tint that my friend and I discovered could make you look like a disco ball if you applied it more like a lotion, so we did and i looked at my friend and went "this is the skin of a killer Bella" and we both died laughing 🤣🤣🤣
Also, the charm thing from Edward definitely works on Bella. In the books, one of the times he kisses her she's so overwhelmed that she forgets to breathe and straight up passes out on him 😂
i will never forget sitting in theater for 5 years straight as a teenage girl watching every single one of these movies with my step dad who had read all of the books and un-ironically liked the series. the laughs and the fun we had made for some amazing memories i deeply cherish.
A friend I had also got her step dad into reading Twilight. I always remember that and it blows my mind, I wonder if he finished the series and what he thought of it. I lost contact with my friend so I'll never know.
This is actually one of my comfort movies, its so cringe but yet so good. And compared to the rest in the series ? Yeah it definitely is in the better lot. Plus the music is phenomenal.

If you haven't watched their reactions to the Harry Potter series you would enjoy it. All the men are great but Oak started out really not wanting to watch it at all so his arc from reluctant to huge fan was great.

PLEASE do the whole series!!! 😂 The movies came out at the perfect age for me and I was obsessed. Then in the subsequent years I went into a phase where I was super embarrassed about ever liking it and tried to keep it hush hush, but now I'm older and don't care so much. These movies represent a really joyful, nostalgic time in my life where I had good friends and good memories, so what could be better than that? I always get a kick out of people watching this for the first time. I say the best way to watch is just to watch for the entertainment factor.

Then I might go through a rewatch of the movies since I also haven't seen them in their entirety in forever and have forgotten so much of what happened. Despite its cringiness, this series is definitely a guilty pleasure. And I can admit that I love watching it. To explain about the eyes, when a vampire drinks human blood their eye color becomes bloodshot red, when they drink animals’ blood, it becomes a golden brown coloring, and when their eyes are black it’s because they haven’t drank blood in a while and they need a refill. 👩🏻🧛🏻❤️🖤
Just so you know, I laughed so hard watching this reaction my cheeks hurt😂😂 I loved the not so ready, willing and able from the Answer at the beginning, loved the red flag moments, the laugh from the Oak when Edward jumped off Bella hahahahaha and loved the discussion at the end. You guys are good sports for doing these. I will readily acknowledge that the Twilight films are basically a fever dream, as well as just not being being very good. That being said, there’s this innocent silliness about the films that I can’t help but enjoy.. In Edward’s defence, he’s never fallen in love before. That’s why Bella is somewhat of an anomaly to him because he’s never met anyone that has made him feel that way. So Bella is, in fact, the first high school girl he’s fallen in love with.
I'm a 23 year old man and I just watched the saga for the first time (except the first movie, I'd seen it in High School), and I watched it entirely by myself and really enjoyed it. Watching it with friends is definitely not the only way to enjoy it.

Fun fact- Midnight Sun is from Edwards perspective and it explains that in the classroom scene where they fist meet Edward was literally deliberating how to kill Bella and everyone in that classroom, which is why he was acting that way 😅
Was not expecting you guys to do the Twilight series, a fun surprise for sure! There is always that one person who just can't see passed the age gap and it makes these reactions so much better. Can't wait for New Moon! As awful as these movies are, I'm not ashamed to say that I love them, and the books. I was 13 when the movie came out, it was the first of the main series books I read at that time (vs The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Harry Potter) and I've re-read the books many times. I had PJs with the wolf symbol (you'll see in the next movie) and even a Jacob cut out in my room, I have the books in both paperback and hard cover, as well as the movie companion books. A line from Edward in the 3rd movie was even my text tone for my then boyfriend/now husband 😂 As an adult, I recognize the cringe and red flags but still enjoy the series for what it is and it's always good for a laugh.
The baseball scene is one of the most iconic and beloved scenes from the whole franchise!! It deserves all the love in the world lol! You guys had great reactions though and i really enjoyed the video!
I’m with The Answer on this one. And I say that as someone who read the books when they originally came out. Twilight is creepy and cringe and could easily be renamed “Red Flag Romance: The Movie.” 😂 But in Mason’s defense, they are really fun to laugh at with friends. It was clear y’all were having a fun time with it, and I had a fun time revisiting the movie with you. Looking forward to revisiting the whole emo, melodrama with y’all! Same here. I even went through the trouble of reading the books to make my own opinion about them. it's so cringe, and creepy. I was dying laughing at the absurdity on book 3, the spine scene. won't go in detail as to not spoil, but it's so ridiculous...

The weird thing about twilight is that the side characters were the only interesting parts about it, characters like Carlisle and the Voltori were semi interesting but instead we got a weird teen love story.

What I loved in the books and what I WISHED they showed more in the movies, are the background characters, especially the Cullens. Their background stories deserve a movie each. As a female who read all the books, was 11-15 when this film series out, and unironically enjoyed all the movies back in the day, I can say I am absolutely dying of laughter at your reactions. It really is such an odd situation to have been obsessed with these movies when I was younger just to grow up and realize how terrible and ridiculous they are. But I still get throughout enjoyment watching them just for a good laugh. Oh and fun fact, Robert Pattinson actually hates Twilight and says some pretty snarky things about the movies😂
When this movie was made they didn't have a huge budget. They had no idea that it would be as big as it was. Still one of my favorites. I was Team Edward all the way!!!! I can't wait to see the others. My husband always says I tricked him into watching this with me. LOL
Gonna be honest here. I own the 4 main Twilight books, as well as Midnight Sun, which is Twilight (the first book) from Edward's point of view. It really helped to clear up A LOT of questions and plot holes left from Bella's lack of perception and lack of awareness to the situation she was actually in. I am actually really hopeful that Stephanie Meyer makes the other three books from Edward's perspective as well. As for the films and "team" I'm Team Dads, Carlisle and Charlie. A bit team Alice too. Edward, Bella and Jacob can go take a short hike off a tall cliff for all I care. Also one of best film memories I have was in the theater for the first film, and when Carlisle first walks in that hospital room the ENTIRE CROWD just gave a huge gasping sigh of approval and then we all laughed at how stupid we sounded It was hilarious.

A friend (girl) dragged me to the first one as a joke as part of a group of about 8 of us. It was cheesy but it became a tradition to go see the latest one when it released in theaters and then when we went to different colleges, we still got together for the summer releases of the rest and now it’s a nice, wholesome memory! 😊

was always loving the dads more even as a teenager and rewatching as an adult we all have to admit charlie and carlisle were by far the best characters in these movies (with alice of course) so i never really was team edward or jacob, i did annoy my friends by telling them i was team carlisle 😌

I was 11, this franchise had me hooked in middle school and I’m 25 now. I had the books, seen all movies in theaters multiple times, and had the merch 😭. It was just something about that time period with y/a fantasy books and films 😅 lmao. I’ve always been team Edward, my friends and I always called him “The hair” 😂😂. This was so much fun to watch 😂 . This originally was supposed to be a small indie movie with a very small budget (hence the terrible special effects, they literally had no money) - and then it just EXPLODED! I think this 1st one is still the best part, it really has become a cult classic. No. 2 is OK too, but the bigger the budget for the sequels, the more charm it lost to me.
The best part was Answer! Especially right after the movie ended! His face!! It was like he was regretting all of his life choices that led to this moment. 😂😂😂. He was thinking, “I can never get this time back.”
So for someone who read the book (or at least tried to), the reason why Edward reacted that way when Bella came in was because apparently she smells very tempting to him. You can see that at that time his eyes are black because he hadn’t eaten in a while. Once vampires eat they get their color back into their eyes. So he was hungry basically and Bella walked in… hence his reaction 😅👌🏽

i will never forget sitting in theater for 5 years straight as a teenage girl watching every single one of these movies with my step dad who had read all of the books and un-ironically liked the series. the laughs and the fun we had made for some amazing memories i deeply cherish.
A friend I had also got her step dad into reading Twilight. I always remember that and it blows my mind, I wonder if he finished the series and what he thought of it. I lost contact with my friend so I'll never know.

PLEASE do the whole series!!! 😂 The movies came out at the perfect age for me and I was obsessed. Then in the subsequent years I went into a phase where I was super embarrassed about ever liking it and tried to keep it hush hush, but now I'm older and don't care so much. These movies represent a really joyful, nostalgic time in my life where I had good friends and good memories, so what could be better than that? I always get a kick out of people watching this for the first time. I say the best way to watch is just to watch for the entertainment factor.

Despite its cringiness, this series is definitely a guilty pleasure. And I can admit that I love watching it. To explain about the eyes, when a vampire drinks human blood their eye color becomes bloodshot red, when they drink animals’ blood, it becomes a golden brown coloring, and when their eyes are black it’s because they haven’t drank blood in a while and they need a refill. 👩🏻🧛🏻❤️🖤

In Edward’s defence, he’s never fallen in love before. That’s why Bella is somewhat of an anomaly to him because he’s never met anyone that has made him feel that way. So Bella is, in fact, the first high school girl he’s fallen in love with.

I'm a 23 year old man and I just watched the saga for the first time (except the first movie, I'd seen it in High School), and I watched it entirely by myself and really enjoyed it. Watching it with friends is definitely not the only way to enjoy it.

As awful as these movies are, I'm not ashamed to say that I love them, and the books. I was 13 when the movie came out, it was the first of the main series books I read at that time (vs The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Harry Potter) and I've re-read the books many times. I had PJs with the wolf symbol (you'll see in the next movie) and even a Jacob cut out in my room, I have the books in both paperback and hard cover, as well as the movie companion books. A line from Edward in the 3rd movie was even my text tone for my then boyfriend/now husband 😂 As an adult, I recognize the cringe and red flags but still enjoy the series for what it is and it's always good for a laugh.

LOL I laughed a lot with you guys during the reaction 😂 Rewatching this now, in my 20s, made me realized how toxic the relationship is and despite being "Team Edward," I'm not really that invested in the romance. What I loved in the books and what I WISHED they showed more in the movies, are the background characters, especially the Cullens. Their background stories deserve a movie each. Actually, I would really like a movie about the Cullens with minimal romance.

As a female who read all the books, was 11-15 when this film series out, and unironically enjoyed all the movies back in the day, I can say I am absolutely dying of laughter at your reactions. It really is such an odd situation to have been obsessed with these movies when I was younger just to grow up and realize how terrible and ridiculous they are. But I still get throughout enjoyment watching them just for a good laugh. Oh and fun fact, Robert Pattinson actually hates Twilight and says some pretty snarky things about the movies😂

Gonna be honest here. I own the 4 main Twilight books, as well as Midnight Sun, which is Twilight (the first book) from Edward's point of view. It really helped to clear up A LOT of questions and plot holes left from Bella's lack of perception and lack of awareness to the situation she was actually in. I am actually really hopeful that Stephanie Meyer makes the other three books from Edward's perspective as well. As for the films and "team" I'm Team Dads, Carlisle and Charlie. A bit team Alice too. Edward, Bella and Jacob can go take a short hike off a tall cliff for all I care. Also one of best film memories I have was in the theater for the first film, and when Carlisle first walks in that hospital room the ENTIRE CROWD just gave a huge gasping sigh of approval and then we all laughed at how stupid we sounded It was hilarious.

A friend (girl) dragged me to the first one as a joke as part of a group of about 8 of us. It was cheesy but it became a tradition to go see the latest one when it released in theaters and then when we went to different colleges, we still got together for the summer releases of the rest and now it’s a nice, wholesome memory! 😊

This originally was supposed to be a small indie movie with a very small budget (hence the terrible special effects, they literally had no money) - and then it just EXPLODED!
I think this 1st one is still the best part, it really has become a cult classic. No. 2 is OK too, but the bigger the budget for the sequels, the more charm it lost to me.

The best part was Answer! Especially right after the movie ended! His face!! It was like he was regretting all of his life choices that led to this moment. 😂😂😂. He was thinking, “I can never get this time back.”
So for someone who read the book (or at least tried to), the reason why Edward reacted that way when Bella came in was because apparently she smells very tempting to him. You can see that at that time his eyes are black because he hadn’t eaten in a while. Once vampires eat they get their color back into their eyes. So he was hungry basically and Bella walked in… hence his reaction 😅👌🏽
