SV Seeker was built in Tulsa, OK by Doug and all the people that helped him. I got to go on board during a party put on by the foundation that is funding her. They finally got her in the water at the Port of Catoosa and she motored down to the gulf. I knew that was her before you said something!! Really cool seeing her on another channel.

I’ve been following seeker for a long time! I know way too much about that boat. Currently he has been working on putting a divorced transfer case in his boat. Really exciting stuff if you’re a mechanic.

@33:50 I don't LIKE to move... I had to move due to the wind changing directions and the rear anchor breaking free. That side of the water was more protected. this was at 2am :D
First night I moved due to the derelict sailboat breaking free and was within 20' of my boat. didn't want to risk it :)
Plus, hammock camping in high wind isn't super fun. getting out of the wind was priority #1

Your adventures and your c dory make me dream about doing that stuff with my little Boston terrier. I hope to be able to take my parents on something like that here in pascagoula someday. We have some beautiful islands off our ms Coast. There's nothing like Florida, but still pretty
I wish I had a boat, I love Orange beach so much. I'm sad I missed seeing all the sharks there a few days ago. I keep a snorkel and fins in my car just in case I'm closer to the beach.
One day I will get a boat and get to hang out with you guys. Yall were in my back yard and I cant get to those places on my bike.

We live in Perdido Key and love the area you were in boating. However of all places you went to what I consider the worst place to eat. I hope your meal was great. We quit going there. The food is terrible. Only good thing is the great view.

Ah, well the wave action was too much there to beach them and there was a lot of fetch. If the wind were to pick up from the wrong direction, it could generate larger waves.

Your channel was fun, but now it has lost it since all you powerboat endevors.
Hey frodo! I'm sorry you feel that way but I am happy to know that did enjoy the "non-powerboat" adventures. Times change, people change, adventures evolve and the channel changes. Sure, the powerboat adventures aren't for everyone, but there are way more people watching the powerboat adventures (sometimes 10X or more than a paddling video). I enjoy all of the adventures, as long as it's an adventure.
Some perks I find to adding power is:
- I can see more in a given amount of time
- I can reach places that I wouldn't have if I were paddling
- When I reach those places, I have more energy to enjoy the surroundings
- My adventure options are more plentiful
- More people watching to me is more people enjoying and being inspired. Also, the videos are more fruitful which enables me to create more and better adventures.
But I totally get your into the older style of content. Fortunately, unlike nearly ten years ago when I started, now there are lots of people making good paddling adventure videos ;)
