My 1st time seeing much of the Alabama Gulf Coast. Between the rain, motor problems, civil war forts and beautiful weather/water these 4 days aboard my C-Dory 22' Cruiser were amazing. Enjoy visiting the coast and the islands and I loved it before everyone found it. There's treasure everywhere you look. Thank God, no one wants to moved to or visit Alabama or Mississippi ... well used to not want to. I've watched the area's overwhelming growth the last 17 years..
I'm really loving the boat. It opens up so many possibilities for adventure. I wish there was a way of lining the walls and covering up all those rivets and screws. It would make it so much more comfy looking with a fabric finish
I like it plain and easy to reach all the screws n rivets personally.

@@adventureswithfrodo2721 yes I have been involved with boats all my life. Not coastal , but inland waterways in the UK. My farther built hired, converted and sold canal narrow boats, had a boat yard worked with boats until the age of 40. Please tell me the 'reasons'
My boat is covered on the inside with a padded white covering. Looks good and provides insulation.

I took my daughter down to the Mississippi gulf coast for her senior trip. We took a trip out to Ft Gains and had a great time. We also went to the museum in Biloxi just across the bridge from Ocean Springs. Glad you had a great trip. This is why I love your videos. You show the highs and lows but don't let it discourage you.

Great video. Hull Cleaner(west marine, amazon etc.) will take that yellow stain right off the boat when you get it back on the trailer. It’s great stuff.

She would make me a dinner when I came home once in a while , while in the military. Country fried steak in gravy and mashed potatoes, broccoli , and home made biscuits. She made it for me cause she knew it was my favorite. I love and miss my Mom.

I wasn’t on that particular Towboat (although I have run it) but I watch the channel. I work on the red and white ones now like the one with the rock barges. Have you considered using a power pole? Seems like it could really help you in the kind of places you explore. Love the chill vibe of your videos.
Great video, my next trip may be exploring area around Niceville. Had 4 trailer tires installed at Scott Stevens. The manager thought I was you. Filled up wit gas at station next door, took a picture but could no add it to YT comments. We were going to Suwannee River. Regards. Dennis

Hello, I am truly enjoying your videos. Got me started making adventures. Trying to get back in shape. Backpacking. Hiking. Bike rides. My mini adventures. Close to home. I am really having fun. Going to start a few weekends and overnighters. I work in the medical field and right now it's hard to get time off. Hitting state parks. And Rails to Trails. I have to keep it cheap and close due to I'm on call 24-7. Hopefully my adventures can get better as I get into better shape. Been watching your videos almost every afternoon. Wishing for my own escape.

Have to say I have been loving the C Dory Videos. Looks like alot of fun and a great boat. I have a 22' starcraft islander with a 225 yamaha and we've had some great adventures with ot but I don't have the set water motor so never been in the ocean with it

Being new, I have only watched a few videos but already noticed you actively caring about the environment by picking up trash on your adventures. Kudos🤙!!! This video you missed a golden opportunity to get that 2x6 out of the water and save the gelcoat of another boater.😉 That thing was not easy to spot and was definitely a hazard on the waterway.

Very cool video, Love the Gulf Shores of Alabama. Your boat would be a cool boat to have in the Florida Keys. We lived aboard a 2005 Privilege 615 Catamaran in Key West for 8 years, she was a great boat that we sailed to the Bahamas quite often. We recently sold the Cat and bought a condo in Key Largo, we didn't quit sailing we just down sized, our new boat is a 2020 Corsair 880 Sport trimaran. Corsairs are known for their insane speeds in this one doesn't disappoint. We recently sailed from Key Largo to Key West, we covered the 92.7 miles in 5.7 hours and averaged 14.7 to 17.3 knots and on several occasions reached 21.5 knots. Even at those insane speeds the boat is very stable and easy to sail. As soon as hurricane season gets out of here we are sailing her to the Bahamas, should be a fun trip. Lots of videos on RUclips about Corsairs...
