Enjoy visiting the coast and the islands and I loved it before everyone found it. There's treasure everywhere you look. Thank God, no one wants to moved to or visit Alabama or Mississippi ... well used to not want to. I've watched the area's overwhelming growth the last 17 years..
I'm really loving the boat. It opens up so many possibilities for adventure. I wish there was a way of lining the walls and covering up all those rivets and screws. It would make it so much more comfy looking with a fabric finish
@@adventureswithfrodo2721 yes I have been involved with boats all my life. Not coastal , but inland waterways in the UK. My farther built hired, converted and sold canal narrow boats, had a boat yard worked with boats until the age of 40. Please tell me the 'reasons'
Been watching awhile. Enjoy the content. Thanks for posting!! I'm saving up to get myself a 1648 jon and start doing some camping with it!! The paddleboard keeps me on the water for now. Trip dip!!
You need to throw some solar on the top of that boat. And a suction cup to open and close your window? That's a great idea I could have used that a year ago when my latch fell off.
Great video. Hull Cleaner(west marine, amazon etc.) will take that yellow stain right off the boat when you get it back on the trailer. It’s great stuff.
Have to say I have been loving the C Dory Videos. Looks like alot of fun and a great boat. I have a 22' starcraft islander with a 225 yamaha and we've had some great adventures with ot but I don't have the set water motor so never been in the ocean with it
I took my daughter down to the Mississippi gulf coast for her senior trip. We took a trip out to Ft Gains and had a great time. We also went to the museum in Biloxi just across the bridge from Ocean Springs. Glad you had a great trip. This is why I love your videos. You show the highs and lows but don't let it discourage you.
I noticed this was posted 7months ago and you were hoping to go full time on YT in a year or two. Having just put in your two week notice with the Fire DEPARTMENT recently.... I just wanted to commend you on your fast growth with the channel and deciding to just GO FOR IT!!! Trip you are inspiring thousands of us man and for that WE THANK YOU!!! 💣💥💯
Great video, my next trip may be exploring area around Niceville. Had 4 trailer tires installed at Scott Stevens. The manager thought I was you. Filled up wit gas at station next door, took a picture but could no add it to YT comments. We were going to Suwannee River. Regards. Dennis
Hello, I am truly enjoying your videos. Got me started making adventures. Trying to get back in shape. Backpacking. Hiking. Bike rides. My mini adventures. Close to home. I am really having fun. Going to start a few weekends and overnighters. I work in the medical field and right now it's hard to get time off. Hitting state parks. And Rails to Trails. I have to keep it cheap and close due to I'm on call 24-7. Hopefully my adventures can get better as I get into better shape. Been watching your videos almost every afternoon. Wishing for my own escape.
Very cool video, Love the Gulf Shores of Alabama. Your boat would be a cool boat to have in the Florida Keys. We lived aboard a 2005 Privilege 615 Catamaran in Key West for 8 years, she was a great boat that we sailed to the Bahamas quite often. We recently sold the Cat and bought a condo in Key Largo, we didn't quit sailing we just down sized, our new boat is a 2020 Corsair 880 Sport trimaran. Corsairs are known for their insane speeds in this one doesn't disappoint. We recently sailed from Key Largo to Key West, we covered the 92.7 miles in 5.7 hours and averaged 14.7 to 17.3 knots and on several occasions reached 21.5 knots. Even at those insane speeds the boat is very stable and easy to sail. As soon as hurricane season gets out of here we are sailing her to the Bahamas, should be a fun trip. Lots of videos on RUclips about Corsairs...
Your dinner that your Mom made you. Got me thinking about my Mom. She's gone now. And I miss her. She would make me a dinner when I came home once in a while , while in the military. Country fried steak in gravy and mashed potatoes, broccoli , and home made biscuits. She made it for me cause she knew it was my favorite. I love and miss my Mom.
I wasn’t on that particular Towboat (although I have run it) but I watch the channel. I work on the red and white ones now like the one with the rock barges. Have you considered using a power pole? Seems like it could really help you in the kind of places you explore. Love the chill vibe of your videos.
Love the pilot house with the Bimini top out the back door. Lots a possibilities for comfort in that thing. Do you have a video describing what you are driving? So there is a link in the drop down to the boat but would love to here about the details of your boat
Your boat would be perfect for my wife and I. Unfortunately, C-Dory is quite proud of the new ones. Like $132,000 proud for the 22’ cruiser. I need to find someone who’s tired of theirs.
Thanks for another great vid! At age 73, I still do my pushups on my finger tips. I believe that method is better for attaining overall connective strength. Do you think you can handle it Trip? I bet you can :) Cheers from Seattle!
I like to freeze water bottles for "ice" on my Kayaking camping adventures, but also 2-3 V-eights fruit juices half watered down for recovery electrolytes... not the best but it ssssuuuuuurre tastes good the next mornin after playing in the saltwater and sun all of "yesterday" ;-)
I have that same Gerber set of utensils and 2 of the pieces lock together and make a set of tongs that are really handy for cooking ! Also, what soles do you have on your earth runners? Looking at getting some and was curious what sole thickness you prefer. Enjoyed the video!
Just found your channel recently and enjoying the boating content so far. Being new, I have only watched a few videos but already noticed you actively caring about the environment by picking up trash on your adventures. Kudos🤙!!! This video you missed a golden opportunity to get that 2x6 out of the water and save the gelcoat of another boater.😉 That thing was not easy to spot and was definitely a hazard on the waterway.
I like you with your shallow draft boat, laughing at all the newbs on the sandbar
What's draft of this boat
Cant believe you did not take that 2x8 out of the water ??? Live and learn I hope !
Should have put a Mercury on the back of that tub Trip, LOL!!!
“If it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen out there!” As soon as I heard you bust out the Captain Ron quotes, I knew I’d like your content! 🤣🤘

I like it plain and easy to reach all the screws n rivets personally.
have you ever been on a boat? There is reason they are not covered.

My boat is covered on the inside with a padded white covering. Looks good and provides insulation.
Boy Jethro, you sure can put some groceries away. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm. It is uplifting.
We love that area. Fun to share in your adventure. Can only imagine how cool it would be in that little boat.
Amazing area and even better in such a fun boat! Thanks for watching!

Hey great man! Hope you can make it happen and get some bigger adventures under your belt 👍
good book choice, a salty piece of land is a great read
Oh yea! I love a Salty Piece of Land.... Re-read it last year ;)
Hey Tripp I actually went on a fishing charter recently and those are actually natural gas rigs, pulling gas out of the ground
Ah, very cool! Love learning stuff like that.

Good book on the table.
Did you determine what was blowing the fuse on the engine? Great video. I like the C-Dory. Might be one in our future.
Put a lil jb weld on that window shock
damn man.... hitting some wood like that sucks... i did it once and it took me a while before i quit tensing up all the time thinking about it lol
You should invest in a kicker motor for big motor redundancy
C DORY!👏👏👏🍺👍
Love the Bama, thanks for the Chanel and the content

I’ve been wanting one of those wheels for the back. 💪🏻
That’s a good idea bringing the paddle board. 👍🏻
Another good video! Glad you show its not always rainbows and unicorns and that you have issues also. Once again your food is NASTY!

This same boat that had two outboard on it
Looks like they've improved Ft Gaines a lot since the last time I was there 20 years or so ago. Nice to see it's being kept up!
Think that you are missing your white, night running light BTW.
Barber's marina and the Lady in the lake got hit hard by the hurricane lost her and the docks.
Great Video. Cheers!
Love the pilot house with the Bimini top out the back door. Lots a possibilities for comfort in that thing. Do you have a video describing what you are driving?
So there is a link in the drop down to the boat but would love to here about the details of your boat
AL uses a lot of the gas royalties to purchase forever wild properties throughout the state like the bike trail in Dothan
buy 80 hp eltric outbard
Your channel is a barrel of fun, but you should watch Out on the Reef. That young man knows how to cook up a meal on a 21’ boat.
What’s that around your waist? Good job Capt. PFD -6:31
Your boat would be perfect for my wife and I. Unfortunately, C-Dory is quite proud of the new ones. Like $132,000 proud for the 22’ cruiser. I need to find someone who’s tired of theirs.
Sir what make and model is your boat ?????? Thank You love your channel !!!!!
If you get any footage, you can send it to Broncos Guru for his boneheaded boaters series. 🙂

Freezing ice cube gel oack fir water bottle super cheap
Awesome boat man! It’s so nice! Do you keep a full tool kit on the boat with spare parts and like a multi volt meter too?
I have that same Gerber set of utensils and 2 of the pieces lock together and make a set of tongs that are really handy for cooking ! Also, what soles do you have on your earth runners? Looking at getting some and was curious what sole thickness you prefer. Enjoyed the video!
Next trip try Green Bug insect repellent.... works awesome
Wring solar bug repiler. Solar batrrreies
King Oscar makes the best sardines. Worth the money.
What a wonderful series of days on the water. Do you want a float buddy or camera man for your next excursion?
