The jury found him not guilty of first-degree murder in the deaths of Christine Sullivan, 48, and 32-year-old Jenna Pellegrini, charges that would have meant mandatory sentences of life without parole.

I know Michael, the father, personally, and he is one of the most kind and friendly people you'll ever meet. It's beyond a tragedy that not only were his loved ones stolen from him by this monster, but that the case was so poorly handled in the beginning that it took this long to come to "justice". May those lost rest in peace.
