    Certainly a tricky but interesting topic. It's weird to see what happens to borrowed words and the rules they follow in another language. 👍

      Yes, it is weird, isn't it? Because English comes from Latin, French, and German, there are a lot of odd things. My husband (who is an English learner) still gets tricked by some of the French words that we have in English.
