Always a thumbs-up. You are great at explaining grammar. Not many people have got this ability. If I can put my two cents in, I'd like to highlight a couple of points (and correct me if I'm wrong).
1) The conjunction "though" is not common in formal writing; it's pretty common in informal speech THOUGH! See! I just used it! ;) Now, what kind of conjunction is it when used at the end of the sentence? Was my use of the semicolon there correct?
2) We only put a comma before "while" when it's used for contrast, right? No need for the comma when "while" is associated with time, e.g. "The doorbell rang while I was having breakfast."

1) This use of "though" is an adverb, not a conjunction. As you pointed out, we rarely use it in writing. Your use of "though" and a semi-colon between clauses was correct.
2) You are correct. We put a comma before "while" only when it's used for contrast.

Hi, Thank you for the lesson. Could you please explain the rule that the word 'as' is used as an adverb conjunction to show agreement with inversion with an independent clause? Why does the comma come after the independent clause? Is that an exception? For example, He came to the party, as did she.

Hello and thank you for your comment. I love answering questions! I have to say, though, that your question has stumped me. It is not used that often (it's quite formal). I would say that it's an exception. "As" is a subordinating conjunction, but maybe this use of "as" is a different type of conjunction. I'm sorry, I am not sure, but I will try to research it more and let you know.
Thank you very much. I'd searched few dictionaries and websites, but they have little to no information on how the word 'as' is used as an adverb to show agreement. All it says is 'AS' can be used as an adverb conjunction to show reason, and it has the same meaning like words BECAUSE and SINCE.

Great lesson! Are there other subordinating conjunctions that don't follow the punctuation rules besides while and whereas?
Glad you found it helpful! I can't think of any others that don't follow the rule. However, a lot of people put a comma before "although" and even sometimes before "because." That's especially common when it's a different type of writing, like a novel or newspaper article.

On a side note (and if it's not much too much to ask), I was just wondering if you could kindly explain to me the meaning of the expression 'to break something out of the amber.' The whole sentence in which this expression was used is, "We need to break justice out of the amber." I tried to Google it, but to no avail. Any input on this would be gratefully appreciated. Maybe this is a term used in law or maybe it's just not that common so I haven't heard it before. However, I can understand the meaning after looking briefly at the video. He mentions that "It seems like justice is suspended in amber" meaning that it is stuck, it cannot be accessed. To break it out of amber means that it would become available or accessible, that the goal is attainable.

Could you please tell me the difference in nuance between “because “and “since “? Can I use “since “instead of “because “ in the example that I wrote?
Yes, you can use "since" instead of "because" in your example sentence. I don't think there's any difference in meaning between these two words (referring to this meaning of since, not the other one about time, of course). However, I feel like "since" is a little softer and maybe less formal. For that reason, you can hear people use it a lot in speaking, but I believe that "because" is more common than "since" in writing.

( can is the subject but it doesn't do any action , it depends on someone to get fixed ,its not doing any action .)
Note 👉 mam my sir says , not only with these sentences but while making with every passive sentence it is
1st think that whether person or think depends on someone or something to be done or to get done , like you saw in my last few examples where subjects didn't do the action , someone else did it that why I said the those subjects were dependable in something cuz as we know in passive voice sub doesn't do the action .
