I grew up on the Sabine and it’s a great fishery but the hurricanes it mess it up over the years more salt water pushed up the river and now makes it a little tough! Have you tried fishing a DOA shrimp in these bayou/brackish water fisheries? I spent a few years fishing the north fork of the Saint Lucie River for bass down here in Florida and had some good success throwing one along grass and under docks for bass. Wish Basmaster would take the Sabine off the tournament trail especially with so many other great fisheries available. Watching guys catch 1.5lb bass and acting like it’s a lifetime achievement makes for bad tv….at least when I fall asleep watching it I don’t feel bad because I know I didn’t miss much.

Always great videos they get better every time. The tidal rivers are tough to fish we are on the pearl river in Mississippi close to the coast and it is best when the tide is going out. Most are Little dinks but they are some good ones in the mix. Good luck Scott on the next one always pulling for you bud.

I love all the videos. When i see theres a new one out i really look forward to when im off work to watch it. I do wish BASS would stop going to the Sabine river. So many great lakes they dont go to, instead they go to a place where if you get lucky and catch one 3lb fish it could win big bass of the tournament. I know you pros would rather have a chance at catching a big one. I understand its something different but thats not always a good thing. Im pulling for you Mr Martin in every event. When you have a tough weekend i feel it lol. Been keeping up with you for years. I told my son if he could be Hillary's boyfriend then maybe you would take me fishing 😂 Keep pushing Scott
It's such a grind and an old school tournament. I love how tough it is and think it's a great tournament to watch when every bite could pull you from 70th to 25th.

I do video production for a living and I know how much work it takes to make videos like you do with McCoy, I have a question, do you feel like the filming and logistics gets in the way of your fishing in tournaments sometimes?
I thought someone would start at trinity or clear creek but I would never of thought someone would pick Dickinson bayou with I-45 construction going on. But yet again that is closer than other Houston spots so I fully understand.
I agree. I think the only person I can remember fishing the trinity was Skeet years back.
What’s funny is while you were fishing Dickinson bayou that day, I was at the north jetty catching sharks 😂.

If they ever have a badsmaster on lake west point in georgia remember white water access.. there's so many bass in there you can catch them even on cut bait... only place on west point I know with substantial numbers of spots and big large mouth
