    Chicken needs to be consumed well-done.

      While the hygienic standards for this chicken are probably better than the factory-farmed Tyson brand from an American supermarket, I'd still feel kind of uncomfortable eating a rare skewer.

      Raw egg and raw chicken are safe to eat in Japan. Due to their strict monitoring of the food supply, salmonella is not a problem there. You can safely consume things there that you would not dare try elsewhere.
