Yay, more Japan content! 😃 We had monja in Tokyo too, at a little restaurant where we had to cook our own. Wielding those spatulas is no joke! LOL Was ono, though! And I am DEFINITELY going to get that burger when I go back to Japan again! Thanks for showcasing all the "must eat" places. 🤙

My friend, I must thank you for this video like you can't imagine... Today I was at "Red Rock", I ordered the same one as you in the video and it was spectacular, the only thing is that in the entry menu you press English and the drink options are in Japanese so I had to make another transaction because I thought I was able to pay inside.
When I finished, I walked to Shibuya and it was only 20 minutes from there...
I am very pleased with you, this is an experience that it HAS TO BE DONE if you’re in Tokyo!

I lived in Tōkyō for 5 years and I love Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, but Iʻve never had monjayaki. I wonder why I never saw a monjayaki restaurant and no one ever took me to one if itʻs so famous in the Kantō region -- though I HAVE eaten okonomiyaki, including at a cute little restaurant that served Hokkaido-style okonomiyaki (with squid or octopus) in Tōkyō. Iʻd like to try monjayaki, too!

Good Lord that burger looked incredible. I wished I was in Felix’s body devouring that sucker 😅. This has been a really great series and I like that you’re mixing it up with some newer stuff back in Hawaii. I need to plan a trip to Japan for next year.

Oh, yeah! If you are in Harajuku, you MUST get a Harajuku crepe! I loved them when I was in Japan before. I went to two different shops during my trip. Not every crepe is the same. 😁

Been watching your videos to prepare for our trip to Japan in October! Question, seeing as you've already been to Japan, did you find that it was okay to share at a lot of these places? Especially that place with the mountain of a beef bowl. There's no way I could eat one of those on my own. 😅 Was just curious if Japanese people frown upon sharing? Thank you! Also, I had no idea there was a different type of Okonomoyaki! Now I know! Thank you.

Have you all heard of Famous Fat Dave? He gives food tours in NYC in his taxi ($150/hr--$450/hr w/2 hr min depending on the number of "eaters") and it is TOTALLY worth it. We did a tour w/ him a few years back and it was the BEST thing ever. I think you all could do something similar in Hawaii, possibly as a side gig, taking people around to a handful of local spots and getting a taste of something at each spot. You're so good at finding the best eats anywhere you go!

Will they look at you funny if you ask for the beef bowl without the raw egg? Other than the egg (for me), it looks aaaaaaaamazing! And NOTHING wrong with getting yourself a crepe...touristy or not. 😀
