Whoa... What an awesome Japan episode! Love it. Just as you guys were slurping & lifting up those ramen noodles I could see the freshness, yummy. Everything is so fresh no matter where and what food you got. I am so fascinated with the vending machines & how you need tickets LOL. Again love the details. Thank you, Amanda & Felix. Continue to Enjoy!
So happy you're enjoying the series! Mahalo Rick! 🤙
Sluuuurp you guys really know how to whet our appetites! The helping of ramen that Felix had was huuuge! And wow the yakitori at Sukeroku Izakaya 😋😋We are planning a trip up to Aomori and Hirosaki for the cherry blossoms next year 2025. Have to try that apple juice too. Thanks for sharing all the great stuff.
Wish I was there with you guys eating all that great food! Wow!
It was for sure an amazing foodie experience!🤤
awesome adventures and food!
Mahalo! 🤙
Yoooo, you guys hit up some great places. Loved the apple jelly part, so funny. Can’t wait to see the next one.
Can't wait for the next one! Mahalo for the support! 🤙
The musubi was huge and looked so ono! I like try the senbei soup 😋🤤 Mahalo for another great episode!
It was surprisingly ono! Very heart warming! 🤤
Yummy! I think I have to practice slurping the ramen like that. The seafood sashimi was delightful and the BBQ sticks remind me of my childhood. Japan does not disappoint! Thank you for sharing your journey in Aomori. Me, I like Envy apples too!
So glad you're enjoying the series! Mahalo! 🤙
Ok i got my popcorn 🍿 😋. Lets go Foodie Ohana.
Let's go! Aloha Friday! 🙌
It has like a crispy fresh flavor
Red apple sour patch flavor
Oh YUM, everything looked so ONO!! 🤤 I must try that senbei soup one day. Your face when you ate it reminded me of the first time I'd ever had kitsune udon, which was on a rainy day in Ohara -- I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! 🤣 Really enjoying your trip so far....can't wait to watch more adventures.
can’t go wrong with sharing and caring with Amanda and Felix
Did i miss the dessert segment? So excited to see what you will b sharing with us from japan!! So many things, where to start and what to choose? I can’t wait to see what items won your approval for omiyage home. Space is limited in suitcase so u gotta get picky. The apple burst jelly looks very much like the yokan balls. Glad to see you having an amazing time !! Enjoy! Loving this series!!
The dessert segment will be in the next video! We had so much food we couldn’t fit it in one video 🫣 hehehe mahalo!
@@AmandaFelixEats looking forward to it! I love Japanese fruits and esp their white peach and apples!! You have me trained, lol, to stay tuned for dessert segment in the end. I really enjoy watching your adventures. I truly feel like a friend on all your travels hanging along!💕👍🏿😀
Everything looks delish!! We just came back from Tokyo and Kyoto and this made me miss fresh soba!! Also the jelly eating part had me dying 😂
Can't beat Japan noodles! 🤤
Good to see you guyz are in NORTHERN Japan, clear of that super typhoon‼️😃
🙏
Wow. I really like that the streets aren’t crowded.
That was some great food. I can imagine the flavor burst of the apple juices. Japan does everything so much better.
Nice magnet you got from there.
What a well planned trip 🤙🏼🤙🏼.
Yes! Sometimes the hustle and bustle can be too much. We love the food here! 🥰
Once a year Princess Cruises has a cruise in August to four of the Obon Festivals around Japan.. The cruise goes to Akita, Aomori, Kochi and Tokushima to see four different and unique Obon Festivals. If you get a chance it is something to see. At Aomori we got to walk around the Nebuta floats as they were being prepared to parade and one group offered us watermelon to eat since it was so hot. They were really nice and wanted us to see everything.
That sounds like a cruise worth going on!
Nice magnet!!
We collect magnet too!
Ok, now I want to try Senbei jiru (せんべい汁)!! Omg that looks so good.
You have to try it when you go northern japan!!
We love Aomori! We visited twice in 2017 and 2018. That Nokkedon is one of our favorites! We are thinking of making a quick stop on our way from Sapporo to Tokyo to eat a Nokkedon.
Yes! That'd be awesome!
You might be too young, but do you remember the Hawai'i Matsuri with a huge nebuta from Aomori in the Grand Parade? It cost a lot of money to ship over to Hawai'i and was assembled by artisans from Aomori, but it rained on the day of the parade and ruined the delicate painted paper of the nebuta!
Ooh, the seafood bowls you had looked amazing! The fresh seafood in Aomori and Hokkaido are must-haves. Maybe it's the cold waters they come from. It's also good to try the specialty dishes of the places you visit because you probably won't ever be able to have them in Hawai'i and they usually taste different in other places in Japan. Hontōni oishisō!
Wow we didn't know they actually came to Hawaii!
Amanda and Felix upload! Oishī!
Oishii! 🤤
We were in Aomori on 5/5. Wish we had researched what and where to eat because what we did eat sure didn’t look as good as what you two ate. Great video!
Mahalo! 🤙

It was one of our most favorite food experience on this trip! Mahalo Armando! 🙌🤙
The Nokke Don looks like something straight out of an anime! Soooo ONO!
It was amazing! And the prices were 🤯
He does the mark Wien's reaction with the attempt of 5am ramen slurp 😂 nice
Idols! 🙌
Another Awesome vlog guys! One thing...wish you had a number counter in the upper corner for the amount of times you both said Aomori 😅
😂😂😂
@Amanda & Felix Eats may I know when you visited Aomori?

Thank you guys
Mahalo George! 🤙
I am now jealous, one day I will make it there
You will! 🙏🤙
In this vdo, which month did you go there? Still having cherry blossom around the area. 😍🌸 I have a plan to visit Aomori next year!
We were there the last week of April! 🤙
"And I'm not getting that back" lol
😂😭
You guys need to try:
gyukatsu motomura.
Nakiryu
Henrys burgers
Stay tuned for our tokyo series!
Amanda....what kind of onigiri were you eating? Looked soooo good!
It was a miso onigiri! 🤤
Aloha 🌺🥰
Mahalo Katherine 🤙🏻
Hi Amanda and Felix, am I able to Uber my way around Aomori?
That's it, I'm going.
Yes! 🙌
when did you go to Nokke Don I thought it was closed
How did you guys find Aomori?
We had a short window for cherry blossom and Aomori has one of the latest blooming season of japan!
I just realized the bowl is completed by various vendors. is it the common way or can we complete the bowl from just one vendor?
Definitely would have gotten 2 bowls for that price, possibly 3!! 😂
Right!! So worth it 🤤
next time in Aomori lets have lunch
I did not know Japan loves cheese and adopted it in fine cuisine. Interesting. I think the fact Korea did during the Korean war is fairly well known and Korea not only makes cheese now, but is a huge buyer of cheese from the USA as that is the cheese that Korea (and Hawaii for that matter) became accustomed to during and after the wars.
Interesting fact!
Those "build-your-own-bowls" looks Dee-lish!...Amanda, is your allergy to shellfish/bi-valves(clams/mussels/scallops) or just to scallops?
They were so amazing! Scallops and now I’m beginning to stay away from oysters too 😭
@@AmandaFelixEats...My Condolences!
Good video, but I believe the sembei jeriui is wheat. Can you confirm this?
Not entirely sure what kind of senbei they were🤔
when in HNL lets meet for lunch
That was a big musubi. What kind was it?
It was a miso onigiri wrapped in nori! 🤤
Where is the dessert segment guys??
Everything was closed early 😭
Does people there speak English?
Not too much English speakers here unfortunately 😅
Guys, guys, guys !
It's a Japanese name.
Quit pronouncing it: Dai-Con like a mainlander.
In Japanese it's: Dai-Kon as in Ko-Un.
Or call it "Turnip".
Otherwise... GREAT Clip !
We'll be visiting Japan in October with "Non-Stop" .
Unfortunately... Aomori isn't on the agenda.
Looking forward to the next segment.
Why do people call crustaceans fish? Very much an American phenomenon. That' why scientist panels change species names.
