Why do people complain about the lobster but not the abalone it's alive on the grill too. But because it doesnt have a face it doesnt bother you simple as that. Lobsters are close to roaches btw which we crush with shoes and poison so dont go all high and mighty about it. It's a crustation we have been boiling and cooking them alive for centruries
I was about to say the same thing about the lobster, but I realized, is that any worse than what we Americans do when we throw a live one into boiling water? We don't see its face, while we return to our friends and another glass of wine. I've cut them in half while live, although put a cross cut through what I guess is their medulla equivalent. Got distracted. This place seems great, but maybe trying too hard to be over the top. Did the uni need the pickled egg yolk? Did the crepe (my mouth was watering when I began to realize how the eggplant, the tomatoes, the batter were going to come together) really need the extra cheese sprinkled on top? When Mr T cut into it, you could see it was already too stringy and drippy with cheese, without the topping. But I was amazed throughout at the skill of the teppanyaki cooks, how with two spatulas they manage all kinds of things, like making the garlic rice on just that hot, flat surface when I would have needed a chopping board, a knife, a wok, mixing chopsticks or paddles. . .that abalone looked incredibly delicious. I'd say you'd have to check out this restaurant, over-ambitious they may be, but when they hit the mark, wow! And I think 13000 yen is a great value, considering a McDonalds meal on the turnpike is maybe $13 now. You might be tempted to throw all of it away if the bun was stale and the fries dried like prunes inside--hey, it happens!

残酷ショーを人前で見せるお店か・・
It is cruel to not kill the animal first and just put them on the flat top. Animals feel pain too.
Shame on you. You put an living animal on the Grill
