David is very underrated Composer. He is my favorite James Bond Composer after John Barry. My introduction to his work was on Stargate. I remember seeing Stargate in theaters a loved the score I was about 10 years old when I saw the film and it was an early film that got me into loving movie scores. Jurassic Park had just the year before and it was one of the first film scores I asked my parents to buy, then after that was Stargate. Then just a few years later David Did Independence Day 96" and had to get that soundtrack, Then David took over the bond Franchise in 1997 which lead to him scoring the next 5 Bond films. I was bummed that he was gone from bond franchise, but shortly after The new Sherlock Series debut in 2010 which was an amazing series. I know david has much more work but those were some of my favorite things he has done.

Fascinating guy. He wrote a terrific waltz for Stepford Wives, one of the best music opening sequences I've seen, along with maybe the original Batman of 1992 by Danny Elfman and a few others.
