Less and less veterans of WWII, and less and less people aware what a nightmare, horror and tragedy was that war. Almost all soldiers recruited before the battle for Moscow died. They were unprepared and almost unequipped. They stopped Nazis by the cost of their lives. The consequences of WWII felt for people of USSR/Russia till the end of the century. Practically all families had dead or injured members. I went to the gatherings of veterans with my grandmother. You had to see how they treated each other - brothers in arms who faced the death together. For them The Victory day was a day to remember the fallen fellow soldiers, the day of Sorrow.

This is how the video reactions should look like. interesting facts, analysis of the history of the video, real reaction. thanks for this
🤘🤘🤘
Hi there! Awesome video and reaction.
10.35 near Moscow, Klin is my native town. Was under occupation for a month. Still 2000-s at my grandfathers’ farm found a lot of echo of war, like helmets, chambers, some parts of weapon.
As always, a fun and solid reaction from You! (And the song is great - both versions!) Keep up the good work, Sir! :)
Sound Guy: "Hey, how much epicness do you want in that chorus?"
Joakim: "All of it"
Nah, that was:
"How much epicness do u want?"
"Yes"
Thanks for this reaction video and for understanding our feelings. ^^
That’s true, I feel much more patriotic after listening to the Sabaton songs, than after listening to the officials’ speeches once a year or whatever I hardly do.
And, I agree, it’s good to learn more about other countries’ history from their point of view rather than be focused on the home country only.
I honestly don't know how someone could be wishy-washy about this song, it gives me chills every time I hear it. I need to go listen to Radio Tapak's version.
Hey, man, tnx for your reaction! it's very cool to meet such a person who is passionate about good music.
"We do it like this in the Mother Russia."
It's a f*cking great song. Nothing better than a good plate of Russian pride in a saturday morning.
Great reaction, as always!! Its great to see you enjoy swedish music! :D
This song was originally created by Radio Tapok as a "Song in the style of Sabaton". And as we all see it really is.
Thanks for your reaction, friend!
I love this song from radio tapok and from Sabaton!
I look forward to more future colabs between Sabaton and Radio Tapok!
Sabaton, let's go!!!!
Awesome reaction as always.
Have a great weekend

Love the channel and the way you do reactions. Best wishes from Serbia.
It was very nice to watch the video with you and to see your reaction. Just love this song 🎸🎹🎼
Great reaction! Greatings from jonas, gothenburg, swe. Stay safe u.😊
Sabaton teaches the best military history class, EVER.
Yes. Indeed. It also shows that we are all equal and that we should be proud however we are.
as a german with schooltime in eastern germany before reunification and after - we didn't learn much in historyclasses about what was going on in the pacific during wwII (pearl harbour and the two atmic bombs) - even north africa was not much mentioned - so i can understand, that the us schools teach mostly about events where they where involved
"......and then Joakim is rocking the aviators as always, that's all I really know about his gear sooooo" - got me good Tank XD
Can I suggest 'A Ghost in the Trenches' and 'Devil Dogs' for your future reactions? Both are not only really cool songs, but as usual the history behind the two are intriguing, with a Ghost in the Trenches in particular having a fascinating story of which I'm sure you'll watch the Sabaton History episode about afterwards!
First time i watched it i was like "shure. This is good...."
But its realy growing on me.
Excellent response and the video in general is fire too!
Good luck, with love from mother Russia!
about history. US started to send forces to Europe only in 1944, when USSR already intercepted initiative after 3 years of our war. I know about Land Lease, but these deliveries wasn`t so big to satisfy needs of Soviet Army. And also, German casaulties on Eastern Front was massive. But still a lot of people are sure that US totally won WW2. But even Japan was defeated with help of USSR in Manjuria.
Such a badass Sabaton song!!! This one was one of my favs thus far! Have you done Livgardet yet?! It's awesome and there's a hilarious surprise at the end (I missed it!) OOOOHHH... also 40:1 LIVE!!! You'd LOVE that one!!!! It's for Poland, played in...well...Poland!!!
Livgardet. ✔️
40:1 (multiple versions) ✔️
It's cool that after so many years there are people who remember, and moreover, they populize history. Thanks to Sabaton for this)
im so addicted to this song its just so damn good
ive also been listening to the original version by radio tapok in russian despite not knowing the language
thanks tank for another banger of video and reaction
*ROCK ON*
Thank you for such a sincere and holistic understanding of music and Russian history. You are a cool dude!
Well, you came prepared and have done your homework - You know about Victory Day here in Russia, and you know about Radio Tapok. Good job.
Also, cool photo of Floor))
And you played "I Want My Tears Back" on the background. Nice, man))
You can actually buy exact copies of Joakims aviators in their merch store, or atleast you used to be able too, I have a pair on my bookshelf. I think it would be cool if you got a pair for yourself and did the intro to Sabaton saturday videos wearing them, think they would suit you quite well!
Good to know!
Great review! Super fun! I agree fully! Sabaton songs make you want to join these historic battles! Time to head to the gym and smash things 😂😂😂
Man Tank is definitely the american dream of reactions. Grat reactions, the instrument's information, the adrenaline in your face, and even the little known Floor/Hannes fact 🤣😅😆. Long live Sabaton saturdays
Thank you!
Every time the chorus hits I’m getting goosebumps and feel like I’m ready move a mountain, this will be added to my workout playlist for sure
Came home from working in our forest, tired, back hurting and sweaty but still watching your reaction before taking a shower😂
That was genuine. Thank you!)
What I hate is people giving hate on this song for stuff that is happening like just enjoy the history and the cool things about it
Gotta agree with you on that. I've seen a lot of comments from people hating on this song, or asking me to take this reaction down. This is about a part of history that has absolutely nothing with what is going on right now.
@@TankTheTech Its pretty obvious too, Sabaton will be banned from Russia again if and when this war ends. Mainly in part in that they publically supported Ukraine regardless of the outcome Sabaton will never play this song or play in Russia again.
Thank you for this video, very cool to watch. I like the facts that you added, it helps to understand the background of the song better 🙆
Hey dude, I noticed that Sabaton is on Louder Than Life festivals sunday list as artists performing.. It's in louisville but might be the closest city that sabaton hits later this year in case you are curious about seeing them live. Of course you'd get a way scaled down pyro from them as you would in europe. Just thought you might wanna know though. Peace out.
I'm Russian on my mother's side. The origin of this song is interesting. It's as if someone wrote a song in the style of Nightwish, and Nightwish recorded it.
If you'll read the other comment you will know that it's not "if someone wrote". The author, Radio Tapok, intentionally wrote this song in Sabaton style.
@@free42mind I do know how Radio Tapok wrote his song and how Sabaton covered it. I meant to compare it to Nightwish doing the same thing.
great video. i love sabaton as they make you look into history of other countries through there songs and make you want to learn more.

If you haven't heard Sabaton's "Attero Dominatos" yet, that's a good song to follow up with after this. And "Hearts of Iron"
