It’s solid. No shaking at all and doesn’t move. You can plug your phone in without having to hold your phone steady. I wish it was magnetic for convenience but that is something that can be done later if you choose.
Did you know that the original designer and manufacturer of these products is 67 Designs and that they're made in the USA unlike the products reviewed here?
Can’t remember if it came with a drill bit or what size it was but as long as you use one that is only slightly larger in diameter than the screws you’ll be fine.
@@FRS2K Thank you!! I finally did that after I drilled and the holes were not big enough. I think the biggest problem I had was the hours long puzzle of taking the dash apart.
@@FRS2K yes, but it seems a lot bigger and less sleek. The one you got seems like an attractive way to add mounts. The new one has more of a mall crawler look. Shame, I would have definitely bought the old version.
@@asmody88ly thanks, I definitely would be but I’ve since figured out that modular aluminum Ram tough track fits in the same spot perfectly. It’s a fraction of the price and much more versatile.
