why do they spend so much effort and time creating such beautiful scenery just to go there once or twice
So that you (hopefully) never forget about it
it's often exactly that "out of reach" feeling that might make it special
to make placebo effect to player on future update by reducing the game size by deleting it
they actually let u go back to those places in natlan :D
not a game designer, but I think it's because making these special places more memorable/unique makes seeing them become its own reward. kind of the same as how boss fights have their own unique arena and even music. you only see them once a playthrough, but they stick with you more than some of the places you go to often do
To be fair, the nail is down with a secret local legend fight you get by temporarily entering the night kingdom, and its just casually floating way above the arena and you don’t even notice it unless you look up
funny that it can be down there even though they treat the nightkingdom as something that isnt part of teyvats world but more or less in the mind.
I found it by falling through lava during a world quest 😅
but why put such an important thing into a local legend area ☹ I demand a big quest about that celestial nail!
@@silbergreen649I’m pretty sure the night kingdom is just physically below teyvat, like the Nursery of Nightmares area is just at the bottom of a VERY deep hole
@@silbergreen649 Definitely a physical location. Mavuika literally punches her way to it. And you can see Teyvat proper behind her.
3:50 many people (me included) glitched there by accident while doing a quest in a cave full of lava, a waterfall clips you there and you fall into the void for a while until you end up there. I was very confused since the place is pretty spooky

In the Nail area there are even enemies if you walk around for a bit. I've seen geo slimes (who respawned every time they jumped) and a few human enemies
The nail is a part of the archon quest but it's a blink and you'll miss it moment in the background of a cut scene. So much so that people were dismissing those of us who saw it but this just proves it was there. It was mostly an easter egg, I assume we'll get more lore in future chapters. Edit: I dug a little more and if you have run in to those special Local Legends that are accessed by touching the large black stones scattered throughout the map, you will be transported to an arena in the night kingdom where the nail is seen floating right above your head. So even more curiouser.
When did it happen exactly?
@@Romashka_Sov It didn't. That _specific_ area isn't used in the Archon Quest.

The dark place is a location you go to when you touch the Obsidian Totems you might find around the map. They are difficult challenges.
I've been to that last quest area already. It started with Little One (the cute saurian with a scarf on his tail) somehow stealing the artifact from the end of the dungeon.
The local guide explained it away by saying he can dig everywhere, but I do know - Little One must be watching your channel.

I managed to find my way to the Catastrophe's edge and I was wondering if someone else did as well.
I am not surprised Moosashi did, he's just as talented in breaking the game as I am. It never disappoints haha
i think you can visit the first out off bounds area freely after the world quest ends.

edit: turns out all the places you visited in the video are free to explore any time (you gotta fight something to see the nail tho)

To any out-of-bounds explorer that might be reading,
In Natlan certain walls (usually the red phlogiston ones) can't be climbed normally but CAN be climbed using a Tepetlisaur or Kachina's skill. I think it's worth a shot to try climbing with Kachina in cases like 4:22
3:27 well all the other nails were related to world quests, so probably not (i haven't done any world quest and im only at the start of act 2 of the archon quest so idk. This is just quess)
It s just an easter egg in act 2 but since it's there I't likely going to play a part in the next archon quest installment.

The beginning is literally everyone's imagination of Natlan back in year 1~3.
Island Ruins actually has a hole in the invisible ceiling hitbox, i entered it just walking on that hitbox, 2:59 at this angle go south-west-ish, somewhere around that direction, and you'll just fall down inside the island hitbox
3:27 that's the Night kingdom! It's part of the Archon Quest. I managed to glitch into there using a a place related to a world quest(I'm going to post a video of me exploring it on my channel to show u, because ur my idol when it comes to glitches)

4:58 there's place under stadium. And another under sulforous veins (there is hole there so you can get out of bounds from there).
But my favorite place is just on the way to people of springs village. What that place is, is a surprise :D

the night-kingdom you stumbled can be revisited by touching the dark spires scattered around natlan (this is a local legend challenge fights)

after the quest, a portal from the ruins will permanently open which would transport you to two places 1st is the lava filled underground cavern then by touching the floating symbol you can TP to the isles
Also you can land on the nail and in the night kingdom, at the bottom the tower thing, there’s a little arena with 3 pillar (probably for future local legend)
nice i also found the first 2 locations and yep gliding over there took almost 5 minutes lol
i managed to snap a few nice pictures so it was cool
there’s actually a few spots you can walk onto on the floating platform that are just out of the invisible wall it’s pretty frustrating lol
the first time i made the trip i got snatched by the saurian world quest (just like you i think) EVEN after reloading the map which means it teleported me from sumeru lol actual kidnapping

it’s not even “clipping” ig there’s just a hole in the ceiling pretty much
When I explored the last area and reached the very edges, there were actually some geo slimes! Insane lol
the first area feels like one of those areas that will be added later with map expansion but it is already on the game in a crude way, how the area in fontaine with the hydro cubes was on 4.0, maybe some of those areas will be open on 5.1 or 5.2
the enemy i fought in "edge of catastrophe" managed to somehow launch me out of the barrier, so i got to "explore" the out of bounds area a bit (while in falling animation)
About Edge of Catastrophe, I was to close to the boss during one of his animations and he simply catapulted me out of arena. I thought it was part of the fight untill I couldnt find a way to get back into arena.
This happened to me too! I got absolutely yeeted into the sky during the Wolflord fight, landed on a boulder, and the map legit prompts you to "traverse the lava" 😂
I literally accidentally glitched into the place with Natlan‘s Nail as well because I wanted to try if you could swim up one of those Lava Waterfalls
That island is so beautiful 😍
You can go out of bounds through the slanted ceilings in the first room that has the lamps that require alignment before they light up. I accidentally came across it, didn't try to replicate.

I somehow got out of the map with the dendro saurian by clicking the e and somehow by some chances getting in between a wedge/slit of a ceiling and somehow bugging through, Its like the Geo traveler glitch but way harder to do
Natlan's nail reminds me of Dragonspine's floating structure in the sky...
Moosashi too early didn't even let me finished installing the game yet😭

Hi Moosashi, in fontaine there is a local legend called Tlatzacuillot wich has incredible res against everything, the mechanic of the fight is to get a dodge on special attacks to get stacks that deals 219k damage each, after 3 stacks the boss enter a shield state, i was wondering if it was possible to skip this phase by hitting him with 2 stacks then 8 stacks but i havnt manage to do it yet due to the stacks duration, i hope you try it out :D
just fought him, (wl8) dodge stacks cap at 6 and there's a timer for the stacks (gets increased when you dodge) so look for the special "flash of light" to know when to sprint dodge
That last place you can actually go to whenever you like you just have to do the all the first 2 worlds quests in natlan (the world quests in the children of echoes and people of the spring)
I also found an out of bounds glitch with kachina and geo traveler but idk if anyone besides me found it out

When you enter Natlan, near the teleport waypoint and the Children of Echoes location, there is automatic trigger of a world quest that gives you a Little One, a companion tepetlisaurus. This companion appears at the beginning of Natlan's Archon Quest. Game reeeeally wants you to force you to get the companion before you can continue the journey. But the question is. Can you break it that you never trigger the world quest, but proceed the Archon Quest? If it's possible, of course. You will just have to be careful not to go to the place in between teleport waypoint and Children of Echoes place. I am reeeally curtious what would happen if a character you haven't unlocked (and named, because you give them a name), appear in Archon Quest.

Nah screw this. When you reach the Natlan-Sumeru border from the Eternal Oasis you get teleported to that quest, so annoying. There should be another way to enter from Fontaine.
@@MagitekBahamuto That's why I am asking if Moosashi can do anything about it. Because the quest triggers if you go normal way. But what if you somehow gets to the other inside of Natlan. Or maybe it's set that if you are inside Natlan, wherever it is, it teleports you here. Not sure if that's how Chenyu Vale teleport barrier works, but at least you can't go there from any direction. It might be auto teleport wherever you are inside the natlan/Chenyu Vale or in its proximity in both cases. If that's how it is, it may be impossible to do so.
@@Netsuki we need to discover another invincible glitch that deactivates all effects like that one in 4.0...
@@Netsuki Hey I realized how it works, so If you are standing in Natlan soil for too much time you get teleported, I went under the map using a hole in Sumeru and reached an underground lava cave in Natlan, I just landed there and got teleported.
So I went from the surface using Wanderer and got to the next waypoint. Now I need to check if I can reach the first Statue of the Seven.
Edit: lol mihoyo, it doesn't teleport if you are climbing, I think Moosashi can do it with his Xiao for infinite stamina. Floor is Lava in Natlan I guess...

For people who don’t know if you did the world quets for the first 2 world locations you can go back
If you go under the natlan stadium/ capital city you might find another surprise. Ez clip in the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant (new boss) Cave.
Fell to #3 on accident multiple times, there is a hole in the map behind lava you just slide through 🤧
The Secret Isle place is connected to that volcano thing you saw or Edge of Catastrophe

Spoilers (World Quest)
2:33 what you call isle of ruins doesn't have a name of as now in-game. it is the final part (as of 5.0) of the quest chain "in the footsteps of the chosen dragons" where we try to find a way to cure our little saurian companion from dying too early. because according to a specialist from the saurian association, our little buddy is a very special tepetlisaurus, the chosen one if you will, with a very special power/blessing. but, his power comes at the cost of a shorter lifespan and to heal him/extend his life, we need to embark on a journey to the volcano (which will probably happen in a future patch). at least half of the quest to reach this area makes you explore as the tepetlisaurus companion since, it requires both humans and saurians to work together and achieve their goals.

I have been to the 2nd place and i think you can go back to it but its not clear how. There are a ton a chest in that place so its definitely not a one time thing. I hope

i just found a new out of bounds,sunig kinich go to place of parting vows get relay high up the go west until oyu see a crack climb out and bamm now your free and get to island by jumping of the cliff face into the what looks like fog keep falling until sky box loads the gllide over tbh this map wasnt made with kinich in mind lol

i can say the nail isn't part of the current archon quest line as of week 1 of the new patch
iv blitz through the archon quest hes pretty close in his guesses
although iv never seen the first nail in the quest or maybe i missed it
You missed the 2nd arena under the arena and the myriad of monoliths under the square looking top left part of the map

i found a world boss area that doesnt exist yet, the cave is fully there but it has no exit nor entrance and the boss obivously isnt there
