Some of the dialogue feels like it could be actual voice lines from the game, especially Furina's "Consider yourself educated on the subject of deception."
One thing I really loved about that scene is that using those decoys is something that's done in real life. Just look at Operation Desert Storm; the Iraqis fell for it and got their AA positions hammered by HARMs (High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles).

No, the movie is a drama, the battle is almost not on equal terms, the Kaenri'ts are simply being killed like cannon fodder, no one except Kolya was hurt. And no one even died.. Such operations cannot take place without losses. This betrays the childish charm of the work. Although her death gave great meaning and Maturity to the plot, and that our characters are also mortal and not protected by plot armor. It's really not cool... But I agree, the animation is very cool, even though it has the disadvantages listed above.
The DETAILS. This is not only the most hype entry yet, but GOD the DETAILS. Aether's little flinch at 3:01 shows he never expected Lumine to shoot. Plus the classic of he obviously doesn't want to hurt her, so when something almost kills her he's distraught. This was amazing, all the squads and stuff too. I love the tactics used.
I mean, even if you expect someone to shoot, the sound of gunfire against reinforced glass will probably startle you if you’re in such a vulnerable position.

In Ace Combat Infinity, there an enemy called butterfly master where it gimmick is about a single aircraft controling a bunch of UAV that i would bet are one of the main inspirations behind Furina's design. What more is that the butterfly master wasn't even piloting inside the aircraft but rather controling it from a space station far above the sky which is quite alike the whole 2 forms of Hydro Archon

@@bactothefuture7518 Yep, it's the Rafale's refueling probe which it uses when doing in-air refueling The tanker plane has this hose that it extends out the back (called the drogue) which the probe then slots into in-flight. Using the Rafale as Furina's plane because it's a French design and having that refueling probe that's reminiscent of her ahoge is honestly really damn genius, not to mention the three drones to reflect the salon members!

Well, Strinova is about as close as you'll get to an anime shooter these days. Unfortunately, the Japanese have a significant anti-gun stigma. Not so much in China, but FPS games aren't as popular there as they are in the West.
More importantly, the Rafale she used as per RL description is the F4/F5 variant, the F5 upgrade program of Rafale, which has compatibility to command the UCAV's from her aircraft, and proposed to have Integrated AI system, Stealthier loadout placement (not shown yet), and capable to carry ASN4G Nuclear Capable Missile... But in her Rafale, she brought the F4 upgrade Rafale with some new gizmos mentioned in F5, which perfectly explained the "experimental" squadron part, to test the new avionics of each aircraft. And one big surprise for me is that she brought the MBDA SmartGlider... SDB's but updated, buffed, and to that matter could be carried up to 6 per single rack, making it so far, the most packed Smart Bomb variant (SDB I and II only up to 4 from their AMBER racks, Brimstone and SPEAR up to 3.) All in all, that Rafale just enough to make a perfect display of Omnirole capabilities...
I cannot describe how much I love depicting the Salon Solitaire as wingman drones! You're still on point with the fusion of game mechanics and real-life, I especially liked the detail of CAS switching from IR to Elemental to see through the smoke.

I loved the references that were used, Metal Gear Solid, Ace Combat, and Titanfall 2. Though I was taken aback when Sky Watch 5, the mech, not only gave protocol 3 to protect Monarch who was Aether, but also when targeting Lumine to take her out they apologized to Monarch like they knew what they were about to do would go against his wishes. But would be for his best interest to protect him. Of course, another reason would for that shot to be deflected and that line it said, "Target still active, rectifying..." Implies that it was making up for not being able to eliminate one threat and further insuring Monarch's exfiltration. While the latter is probably more likely, still like to think the first reason was partly involved as to really stick with the Titanfall aesthetic.

I cannot even begin to explain how hyped I was to watch this, the previous entries all slapped without missing a beat but this? DAMN. I love how the world building from Genshin is being incorporated subtly into this new modern setting and no lie I rewatched those callsigns popping up multiple times just to see what little easter eggs I could've missed! Hutao and Zhongli with the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor being used mainly for the ground artillery, Furina and her Salon Solitair being a french ace fighter jet squad, all hands down genius! I still can't figure out who the Red Vultures were supposed to be though... All in all this is AMAZING
I think the Red Vultures are supposed to be either Dehya's group, or the tribe we meet when we go into the ancient king's tomb. It's part of the Sumeru Ground Forces, so that's the only thing i can come up with. Before I went back and looked I thought it might be Diluc heading up a airborne heavy assault team.
@@erikhuang878 My first thought was that the Red Vultures are related to Alhaitham, since his constellation is "Vultur Volans" ("soaring vulture") and the green text brings Dendro/Sumeru to mind, but I could be wrong. Dehya's mercenary group was called "The Blazing Beasts" so they don't have anything to do with vultures.

@no_tables i hope this comment doesn’t get lost, but i absolutely treasure these videos and i look forward to every one of them. from the weapon handling to the choreography, cinematography, audio, set and model design… it’s such a high standard of quality that i can’t ask for from any other genshin animation studio. i love the choice of weapon and kit designs too - while they’re all pretty diverse in terms of their equipment, i can tell there’s also a very solid amount of use case behind all the gear they bring and it shows in the animation. i think your whole team is incredibly talented, and the fusion of these two genres is done in a way that arguably exceeds anyone’s expectations. the selection of arms and their handling has got to be one of my favorite parts, especially since you guys do it so well, and the attention to detail in every reload, bolt release, and weapon stance makes this whole concept ten times better. i seriously hope that this continues - i would watch a whole 8 hour series of this on netflix. if you see this, i appreciate you all so much. you’re all fantastic and i can’t wait for what’s next!

Easier to direct, as the "et" having a T can confuse non-french speakers on occasion, while getting a proper "Que" [cuh with as absent an h sound as possible?] out of non-native VAs feels like it would be an easier time? Honestly that's LITERALLY the only nit I have, and it's a SUPER tiny, pedantic af one. This vid is glorious and pretty much the definition of "this isn't fan works, it's a f*cking production".

First: Great Sfx, animation, and great job for finding military units and irl equipment that fits each of the seven nations. Secondary: Theory time, Dainsleif is the lumine shadow broker who gives out information when he see a need for it and often remains hidden in the shadows.

The tanker plane has this hose that it extends out the back (called the drogue) which the probe then slots into in-flight.
Using the Rafale as Furina's plane because it's a French design and having that refueling probe that's reminiscent of her ahoge is honestly really damn genius, not to mention the three drones to reflect the salon members!

More importantly, the Rafale she used as per RL description is the F4/F5 variant, the F5 upgrade program of Rafale, which has compatibility to command the UCAV's from her aircraft, and proposed to have Integrated AI system, Stealthier loadout placement (not shown yet), and capable to carry ASN4G Nuclear Capable Missile...
But in her Rafale, she brought the F4 upgrade Rafale with some new gizmos mentioned in F5, which perfectly explained the "experimental" squadron part, to test the new avionics of each aircraft. And one big surprise for me is that she brought the MBDA SmartGlider... SDB's but updated, buffed, and to that matter could be carried up to 6 per single rack, making it so far, the most packed Smart Bomb variant (SDB I and II only up to 4 from their AMBER racks, Brimstone and SPEAR up to 3.)
All in all, that Rafale just enough to make a perfect display of Omnirole capabilities...

I cannot describe how much I love depicting the Salon Solitaire as wingman drones! You're still on point with the fusion of game mechanics and real-life, I especially liked the detail of CAS switching from IR to Elemental to see through the smoke.

I loved the references that were used, Metal Gear Solid, Ace Combat, and Titanfall 2. Though I was taken aback when Sky Watch 5, the mech, not only gave protocol 3 to protect Monarch who was Aether, but also when targeting Lumine to take her out they apologized to Monarch like they knew what they were about to do would go against his wishes. But would be for his best interest to protect him. Of course, another reason would for that shot to be deflected and that line it said, "Target still active, rectifying..." Implies that it was making up for not being able to eliminate one threat and further insuring Monarch's exfiltration. While the latter is probably more likely, still like to think the first reason was partly involved as to really stick with the Titanfall aesthetic.
It’s been an absolute pleasure watching your journey as an animator. I started following way back when you did the animation for the in game dialogue between Paimon and Lumine. This animation absolutely astounding and they just keep getting better and better.

I cannot even begin to explain how hyped I was to watch this, the previous entries all slapped without missing a beat but this? DAMN. I love how the world building from Genshin is being incorporated subtly into this new modern setting and no lie I rewatched those callsigns popping up multiple times just to see what little easter eggs I could've missed! Hutao and Zhongli with the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor being used mainly for the ground artillery, Furina and her Salon Solitair being a french ace fighter jet squad, all hands down genius! I still can't figure out who the Red Vultures were supposed to be though...
All in all this is AMAZING
I think the Red Vultures are supposed to be either Dehya's group, or the tribe we meet when we go into the ancient king's tomb. It's part of the Sumeru Ground Forces, so that's the only thing i can come up with. Before I went back and looked I thought it might be Diluc heading up a airborne heavy assault team.
The Funeral Parlor being the artillery... Why do I feel like a reference along the lines of "You find them, we bury them!" was being made?
@@erikhuang878 My first thought was that the Red Vultures are related to Alhaitham, since his constellation is "Vultur Volans" ("soaring vulture") and the green text brings Dendro/Sumeru to mind, but I could be wrong. Dehya's mercenary group was called "The Blazing Beasts" so they don't have anything to do with vultures.

@no_tables i hope this comment doesn’t get lost, but i absolutely treasure these videos and i look forward to every one of them. from the weapon handling to the choreography, cinematography, audio, set and model design… it’s such a high standard of quality that i can’t ask for from any other genshin animation studio. i love the choice of weapon and kit designs too - while they’re all pretty diverse in terms of their equipment, i can tell there’s also a very solid amount of use case behind all the gear they bring and it shows in the animation. i think your whole team is incredibly talented, and the fusion of these two genres is done in a way that arguably exceeds anyone’s expectations. the selection of arms and their handling has got to be one of my favorite parts, especially since you guys do it so well, and the attention to detail in every reload, bolt release, and weapon stance makes this whole concept ten times better. i seriously hope that this continues - i would watch a whole 8 hour series of this on netflix.

AS A FRENCH CANADIAN: based on the VAs not being native french speakers, the one thing I'd have changed here is to use "Que le spectacle commence, chéries!". Easier to direct, as the "et" having a T can confuse non-french speakers on occasion, while getting a proper "Que" [cuh with as absent an h sound as possible?] out of non-native VAs feels like it would be an easier time?
Honestly that's LITERALLY the only nit I have, and it's a SUPER tiny, pedantic af one. This vid is glorious and pretty much the definition of "this isn't fan works, it's a f*cking production".
