No, the movie is a drama, the battle is almost not on equal terms, the Kaenri'ts are simply being killed like cannon fodder, no one except Kolya was hurt. And no one even died.. Such operations cannot take place without losses. This betrays the childish charm of the work. Although her death gave great meaning and Maturity to the plot, and that our characters are also mortal and not protected by plot armor. It's really not cool... But I agree, the animation is very cool, even though it has the disadvantages listed above.
That squad representing the Salon Solitaire was a great touch. Though everyone forgets the Singer of Many Waters.. France does have one of the best Air Forces right now too so bonus points for that too.

In Ace Combat Infinity, there an enemy called butterfly master where it gimmick is about a single aircraft controling a bunch of UAV that i would bet are one of the main inspirations behind Furina's design. What more is that the butterfly master wasn't even piloting inside the aircraft but rather controling it from a space station far above the sky which is quite alike the whole 2 forms of Hydro Archon

@@bactothefuture7518 Yep, it's the Rafale's refueling probe which it uses when doing in-air refueling The tanker plane has this hose that it extends out the back (called the drogue) which the probe then slots into in-flight. Using the Rafale as Furina's plane because it's a French design and having that refueling probe that's reminiscent of her ahoge is honestly really damn genius, not to mention the three drones to reflect the salon members!

I cannot even begin to explain how hyped I was to watch this, the previous entries all slapped without missing a beat but this? DAMN. I love how the world building from Genshin is being incorporated subtly into this new modern setting and no lie I rewatched those callsigns popping up multiple times just to see what little easter eggs I could've missed! Hutao and Zhongli with the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor being used mainly for the ground artillery, Furina and her Salon Solitair being a french ace fighter jet squad, all hands down genius! I still can't figure out who the Red Vultures were supposed to be though... All in all this is AMAZING
I think the Red Vultures are supposed to be either Dehya's group, or the tribe we meet when we go into the ancient king's tomb. It's part of the Sumeru Ground Forces, so that's the only thing i can come up with. Before I went back and looked I thought it might be Diluc heading up a airborne heavy assault team.
@@erikhuang878 My first thought was that the Red Vultures are related to Alhaitham, since his constellation is "Vultur Volans" ("soaring vulture") and the green text brings Dendro/Sumeru to mind, but I could be wrong. Dehya's mercenary group was called "The Blazing Beasts" so they don't have anything to do with vultures.

It’s been an absolute pleasure watching your journey as an animator. I started following way back when you did the animation for the in game dialogue between Paimon and Lumine. This animation absolutely astounding and they just keep getting better and better.
"Et le spectacle commence, chéries!" AS A FRENCH CANADIAN: based on the VAs not being native french speakers, the one thing I'd have changed here is to use "Que le spectacle commence, chéries!". Easier to direct, as the "et" having a T can confuse non-french speakers on occasion, while getting a proper "Que" [cuh with as absent an h sound as possible?] out of non-native VAs feels like it would be an easier time? Honestly that's LITERALLY the only nit I have, and it's a SUPER tiny, pedantic af one. This vid is glorious and pretty much the definition of "this isn't fan works, it's a f*cking production".

Holy! This felt like a triple AAA budget anime with Ace Combat / Armored Core theme! 🤖 The production is just something else here! Holy molly! Absolute cinema! 🎦
This is incredible, even as someone whose knowledge of Genshin is entirely secondhand this is still amazing. The animation quality, voice acting, and character designs are all top notch quality. This could easily stand alone as its own thing and everyone who was a part of it should be proud of what they made.
First: Great Sfx, animation, and great job for finding military units and irl equipment that fits each of the seven nations. Secondary: Theory time, Dainsleif is the lumine shadow broker who gives out information when he see a need for it and often remains hidden in the shadows.
Man. The sheer upgrade in animation quality compared to the last one is insane! The dynamic camera angles, environment lighting, the detailed backgrounds, different types of camera lens focus, fight sequences involving multiple highly detailed custom mobs in the same shot.... and of course the action is next level as always. This literally feels like I'm watching a movie now. It's such amazing art direction! I had high expectations and even then you knocked it out the park. This is genuinely insane And Mualani burnvape ftw lol And and HELLOOO MAVUIKA?? IMINENT ABYSS INVASION ON NATLAN??? I can't give this enough praise. It's got MW/CoD vibes all over it, with lots of effort into the animation and SFX, not to mention the VA. Thanks for making this project a reality.
I think the sfx volume could be improved, though, especially gunshots heard at different distances. for example, Lumine's pistol is unusually quiet and so are many other movement sounds during her evasion of aether's hyperbloom.
My best guess on the squads weaponry. Mualani - EF-88/F90 with a SL40 Grenade launcher and a 84mm Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle her recon drone seems to be a take on the Defend Tex drone 40. Dehya - UTAS UTS-15 Collie - Pindad SPR-2 50 BMG Anti-materiel rifle I can't work out what Lumine's rifle is. her pistol might be a HK VP9
The elemental ammo reacting with other elements was pretty cool. Especially Aether switching to Dendro ammo and shooting the electro on the ground to chase Lumime with hyperbloom.

I cannot even begin to explain how hyped I was to watch this, the previous entries all slapped without missing a beat but this? DAMN. I love how the world building from Genshin is being incorporated subtly into this new modern setting and no lie I rewatched those callsigns popping up multiple times just to see what little easter eggs I could've missed! Hutao and Zhongli with the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor being used mainly for the ground artillery, Furina and her Salon Solitair being a french ace fighter jet squad, all hands down genius! I still can't figure out who the Red Vultures were supposed to be though...
All in all this is AMAZING
I think the Red Vultures are supposed to be either Dehya's group, or the tribe we meet when we go into the ancient king's tomb. It's part of the Sumeru Ground Forces, so that's the only thing i can come up with. Before I went back and looked I thought it might be Diluc heading up a airborne heavy assault team.
The Funeral Parlor being the artillery... Why do I feel like a reference along the lines of "You find them, we bury them!" was being made?
@@erikhuang878 My first thought was that the Red Vultures are related to Alhaitham, since his constellation is "Vultur Volans" ("soaring vulture") and the green text brings Dendro/Sumeru to mind, but I could be wrong. Dehya's mercenary group was called "The Blazing Beasts" so they don't have anything to do with vultures.

AS A FRENCH CANADIAN: based on the VAs not being native french speakers, the one thing I'd have changed here is to use "Que le spectacle commence, chéries!". Easier to direct, as the "et" having a T can confuse non-french speakers on occasion, while getting a proper "Que" [cuh with as absent an h sound as possible?] out of non-native VAs feels like it would be an easier time?
Honestly that's LITERALLY the only nit I have, and it's a SUPER tiny, pedantic af one. This vid is glorious and pretty much the definition of "this isn't fan works, it's a f*cking production".

This is incredible, even as someone whose knowledge of Genshin is entirely secondhand this is still amazing. The animation quality, voice acting, and character designs are all top notch quality. This could easily stand alone as its own thing and everyone who was a part of it should be proud of what they made.
I can't believe I got to watch something this incredible for free. To Tables and everyone who worked on this, you're all absolutely brilliant.
First: Great Sfx, animation, and great job for finding military units and irl equipment that fits each of the seven nations.
Secondary: Theory time, Dainsleif is the lumine shadow broker who gives out information when he see a need for it and often remains hidden in the shadows.
Man. The sheer upgrade in animation quality compared to the last one is insane! The dynamic camera angles, environment lighting, the detailed backgrounds, different types of camera lens focus, fight sequences involving multiple highly detailed custom mobs in the same shot.... and of course the action is next level as always. This literally feels like I'm watching a movie now. It's such amazing art direction!

Loved the Fact that Furina was flying a Dassalt Rafale Fighter Jet with some French Neuron Drones, Very Fitting since Fontaine is supposed to bring a French Atmosphere to Teyvat (aside from the Food, which is British like Monstadt) as well as the Squadron being the 1013th since Furina's Birthday is October 13th or 10/13. The fact that she spoke French as well was the Icing on the Cake.
Just playing along here but I'm Currently Watching this while on some "Covert Operations" of my Own for my Faction within the Gaming Community, The Independent Republic of Cadria, out in the Los Santos Area. Found some Cute Outfits that I think the Ladies of the Whole of Hoyoverse might like as well. Can't really say much aside from just making a couple of Deals with the Various Gangs in the Area while Watching the LSPD grow into an Actual Police Force as well as the Establishment of the Blaine County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) and the San Andreas State Marshals (SASM).

I can't give this enough praise. It's got MW/CoD vibes all over it, with lots of effort into the animation and SFX, not to mention the VA. Thanks for making this project a reality.
I think the sfx volume could be improved, though, especially gunshots heard at different distances. for example, Lumine's pistol is unusually quiet and so are many other movement sounds during her evasion of aether's hyperbloom.
